Victrix steps up and smacks the Demon hard, however she finds that her blade does not bite as deep. Victrix gives Konny an opening to make a Decisive Strike! DS: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12 but it misses.

Black Tentacles:
Every creature within the area of the spell is the target of a combat maneuver check made to grapple each round at the beginning of your turn, including the round that black tentacles is cast. Creatures that enter the area of effect are also automatically attacked. The tentacles do not provoke attacks of opportunity. When determining the tentacles' CMB, the tentacles use your caster level as their base attack bonus and receive a +4 bonus due to their Strength and a +1 size bonus. Roll only once for the entire spell effect each round and apply the result to all creatures in the area of effect.

If the tentacles succeed in grappling a foe, that foe takes 1d6+4 points of damage and gains the grappled condition. Grappled opponents cannot move without first breaking the grapple. All other movement is prohibited unless the creature breaks the grapple first. The black tentacles spell receives a +5 bonus on grapple checks made against opponents it is already grappling, but cannot move foes or pin foes. Each round that black tentacles succeeds on a grapple check, it deals an additional 1d6+4 points of damage. The CMD of black tentacles, for the purposes of escaping the grapple, is equal to 10 + its CMB.

I assumed Barundar was in range of the Haste spell, which would've given him enough movement speed to make it in a single move action. If not, a double was fine.

Trapped in the tentacles as well, Barundar does his best to pull free of them through sheer brute strength, knowing that he has no chance of escaping them any other way.

CMB to escape grapple: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Can we use mythic power while grappled? If I don't escape from it, but Vic has, could I still use retributive strike on her, since it's a free action? Or are we gonna say the grapple prevents that sort of action?

Konny makes sure Victrix gets free and then moves around the large demon dodging the tentacles and hoping that the enemy is distracted by them. waiting and getting into flanking position with Victrix

He attacks the demon from behind. as Victrix got free, she now threatens the demon and Konny shoud get the flanking bonus/sneak, right?

Belledonna attempts to dispel the magic of the Tentacles unsuccessfully. Brud casts Fog Cloud on the cultist, effectively blinding him.
Cultist Survival: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 figures out which way to go and moves that way. The Cultist casts a spell aimed at Konny! A black ray shoots from his fingertips Ray: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 I think it hits? Konny takes 1d4 ⇒ 1 negative levels as the ray drains his life energy. Grapple Konny: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30Grapple Victrix: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27

Energy Drain and Negative Levels:

Some spells and a number of undead creatures have the ability to drain away life and energy; this dreadful attack results in “negative levels.” These cause a character to take a number of penalties.

For each negative level a creature has, it takes a cumulative –1 penalty on all ability checks, attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, Combat Maneuver Defense, saving throws, and skill checks. In addition, the creature reduces its current and total hit points by 5 for each negative level it possesses. The creature is also treated as one level lower for the purpose of level-dependent variables (such as spellcasting) for each negative level possessed. Spellcasters do not lose any prepared spells or slots as a result of negative levels. If a creature's negative levels equal or exceed its total Hit Dice, it dies.

A creature with temporary negative levels receives a new saving throw to remove the negative level each day. The DC of this save is the same as the effect that caused the negative levels.

Some abilities and spells (such as raise dead) bestow permanent level drain on a creature. These are treated just like temporary negative levels, but they do not allow a new save each day to remove them. Level drain can be removed through spells like restoration. Permanent negative levels remain after a dead creature is restored to life. A creature whose permanent negative levels equal its Hit Dice cannot be brought back to life through spells like raise dead and resurrection without also receiving a restoration spell, cast the round after it is restored to life.

Grappled:
Grappled: A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.

A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.

Konny's touch AC (it was probably ranged touch, right?) was 13 + 1 for haste + 3 for offensive defense for a total of 17. Shield does not work as I guess it was not incorporeal. So unless the tentacles or the approaching enemies offer some cover bonus, Konny was hit.

Clearly frustrated by the effect's resilience, Belledonna almost shrieks out the syllables of her spell once more, quickly following them with a flash of blue as she calls upon that font of power to which she is now connected.

Victrix gets free and moves out of the tentacles! Well..I doubt it is, but if that's enough, I want move out of the tentacles range post-haste. If it isn't, Barundar is stuck for another round. Sheesh. This is getting annoying.

Finally free of the accursed tentacles, Barundar gives a shout of joy louder than just about any other shout he's given for some time, raising Radiance high into the air, its golden glow in full sight of the demons nearby.

Ignoring any risk to himself, Barundar quickly moves up next to Victrix, taking the opportunistic swipes from the demons on either side of him, and brings the golden hammer to bear against the large demon. Finally able to make use of its abilities, the hammer's glow flares!

Pausing for a breath, he scowls and spits on the body of the nearest fallen foe. "May Torag uise yer ain bloody corpse as a base fur his forge, ye wanker..."

Victrix watches as the elephant demon crumbles from the retaliatory strike... then she climbs on top of the beast's corpse.

...and breaks out into a coughing fit as a random fly flies into her mouth.
