Brighton reels back from the blow of the minotaur. He screams in pain and then sees Barundar down on the floor. Looking back and forth from Barundar to the minotaur, he sees Victrix's awesome power send the fiend down.

He moves back a few steps, raises his arms, and prays loudly, "Father Torag, give us your healing warmth, that we be bent and broken yet made whole again by you!"

Move back and channel to try and keep creepy lady out of reach of the healing.

Rather than end his posture and incur the fatigue he is sure would follow such an act, he quickly pulls a throwing axe from a loop on his belt and rears back, heaving the weapon end-over-end at the woman!

Brighton's ears perk up as Irabeth's voice brings him back to the reality they are in. "We're coming Irabeth!! Come on!"

He sprints as fast as his stubby legs can carry him down the stairs and right next to the creature in the doorway, only gaping for a brief moment at Irabeth's new size.

As Brighton speeds past her to aid Irabeth, Belledonna cuts 'round the top of the stairs once more to take in the chaos. Seeing Jeslyn now no longer blocking the doorway to the chamber beyond, the chamber Irabeth claimed should hold their ultimate goal; Belledonna focuses her attention upon this new goal. "Pupuri noa a ia i roto i o toku ara!" She cries out as she keeps the others between her & the Fiend Worshiper. Taking out Aravashial's wand she once more uses it's power to speed her companions, only this time, she also uses it to speed herself.

Move to the square above the 17 on the map.
Use the Wand of Haste. Haste Barundar, Konny, Victrix & herself. GM Niles, as this will now double her move speed, is Belledonna able to move farther after using it, or do I need to wait until next round?
Also, Barundar, since this happens before your action, you might have a Haste attack available.

Barundar grits his teeth as a spray of blood flashes across his armor from the deep wound given to Joslyn by Victrix's sword, and he swings his hammer on her again hard, hoping that the blow dealt her by his companion will distract her enough that he will manage to hit her again.

Oh crud, it is my turn!...

As the others address the various fiendish threats, Belledonna hurries through the door to the inner chamber, drawing forth the Eldritch Rod the Riftwarden's entrusted her with.

As I don't recall you giving a description of the chamber, Belledonna is obviously assuming Jeslyn was the only defender. Further, I am assuming that circle in the center of the chamber represents her likely target. Since it would be visible from the doorway, next to it is where she will be running. She has enough move to reach it and try to use the Rod on it unless using the Rod is a full round action.

This circular room's original purpose is unclear, but now it seems
to be a trophy hall of some sort. A low stone pedestal sits on the
floor in the middle of the chamber under a domed ceiling. Atop
the pedestal is an iron, barbed cage-and within the cage sits a
chunk of softly glowing white stone.

Yes, the object in the middle is a cage with the last piece of Wardstone.

Belledonna touches the Rod of Cancellation to the wardstone and for a split second nothing happens.

Then, with a blast of golden light and the sound of an angelic choir the wardstone explodes into thousands of pieces.

The light suffuses into Belledonna's form and she begins glowing brightly, as she turns around she sees Barundar, Victrix and Konny also glowing.

Downstairs Brighton hears the explosion and feels the power of the wardstone surge into him...the remaining demons simply vanish when the light touches them. Othiribu, seeing his allies disintegrate, turns and runs.

Effects of the Light:
Everyone is healed fully, spells/day are returned, all abilities are reset as if you have rested for a day. You are now 5th level.

Belledonna:
You "hear" the land speaking in the tongue of your ancestors. Pain to the west, such pain as you have never felt and never wish to feel, pain marks the Worldwound. You understand it's nature now better than ever.

Barundar and Brighton:
The Hammer of the Forgefather beats in your ears. You feel his presence more closely than ever before in your existence. The sound of the forge beats with the same pulse as your heartbeat.

Konny:
You hear Uncle Anvil's voice Now lad, you're in a fine pickle. Didn't I tell you, never roll dice with the Gods.

Victrix:
The Angel from your dreams approaches you with a voice that sounds like the North Wind. You can barely make out her words Oaths....Katha...Worldwound...Sarkoris

Everyone is stunned and motionless. Irabeth, her magic dispelled by the golden light, rushes from person to person. Hey! Hey! Are you alright!

As Irabeth attempts futilely to assist the party in recovering its senses they all have the same vision

From a birds eye view you see the Wardstone being placed in the Kite of Kenebres. You know the year is 4639, 74 years ago and the Second Crusade had just begun. An gold winged angel with a halo of swords oversees the placement of the Wardstone. His name is the Hand of the Inheritor. He is the Herald of a God. the vision shifts

From the perspective of a prisoner, you see a young Lord Hulruun, chief Inquisitor of the Crusade, leading you to be burned at the stake in the courtyard of the Kite. The Wardstone shines in the waning light. The year is 4665, 48 years ago, and the Third Crusade is about to begin.

The visions continue....

As Jeslyn falls, the first thing Victrix feels when leaving her fury behind is the brightness of the light engulfing her.

"WHA--?!"

The angel steps forward. Skyclad, stars for skin. Auroras her lifeblood. Sarkoris fell. You can take it all back.

The vision befuddles her, even though she feels power flowing into her...

"What...?"

Barundar cries out aloud, covering his eyes as the brilliant light engulfs his eyes. All thought of the combat flies from his mind as golden light suffuses his very existence and a sudden sound meets his ears...and he falls to his knees, tears welling into his eyes at the sensation of the presence there with him.

"By the Forgefather's hammer...I hear it...I hear him at his anvil...." he speaks lowly, reverently.

Moments later, he is silent in the light of the visions before his eyes, looking here and there, trying to take in all of the things that are appearing to him, wanting to sear these sights into his memory.

You guys are all stunned, which precludes speech. At least I think so. But I'm enjoying reading your inner monologue.

Irabeth dashes from person to person, shaking you each in turn. You can see that she is frightened, a Crusader who stood up to demons and traitors but she doesn't understand what is happening to you right now.

You see Khorramzadeh the Storm King leading his attack on Kenebres, the year is 4692, 22 years ago. The Storm King manages to strike a resounding blow with his sword against the wardstone, which suffers only the tiniest of cracks as the balor's sword shatters. Khorramzadeh is then attacked and forced to flee when the silver dragon Terendelev nearly kills him-this event launches the Fourth Crusade.

The vision shifts

The year is 4712, two years ago. You watch Irabeth chasing a burly dwarven man you recognize as Staunton Vhane into the courtyard containing the wardstone. Both paladins are heavily wounded, and as Staunton backs against the wardstone, smoke rises and he screams in pain. He ducks to avoid one of Irabeth's blows, then manages to smash her knee, dropping her to the ground.Staunton seems ready to deliver a death blow, but the sound of approaching soldiers forces him instead to back away and summon a fiendish giant wasp that he swiftly mounts and then flies away to the north, abandoning Kenabres.

The vision shifts

The year is 4714, mere days ago. You see a beautiful woman, with horns instead of eyes, a long thin tail and clawed hands. You know her as Minagho, servant of Areelu Vorlesh. The lilitu demon places the wardstone into this chamber and fashions a cage around it with a spell.

The vision shifts

The future that will never be. You see a woman, the most famous of the demoniacs, Areelu Vorlesh. Areelu is using a deep purple crystal, a Nahindrian Crystal, to corrupt the fragment of wardstone. The entire border flashes with a sickly mauve fire and crusaders across Mendev fall to the ground, mutated into half fiend slaves. Areelu turns suddenly and looks at you, her eyes burning with hatred and fury.

The revelation of the demons' plans, and what they have done to thwart them, fills Barundar with a sense of both pride and rage.

First, the vision of the Storm King's near-death at the hands of Terendelev, a sight that fills him with both glee and sadness, already knowing that years in the future, the grand dragon will meet her end on the balor's sword...and, with tears welling in his eyes at the memory, that in her last breath, she saved his life.

The sight of Staunton Vhane, however, enrages the dwarf, and in his mind he can't stop himself from screaming invectives at the betrayer, not just of the Crusaders, but of the entire dwarven race.

When the vision shifts again and he witnesses the capture of the wardstone, probably while they were underground or shortly after they'd gotten back above-ground, his anger is slightly diminished, replaced with a sense of curiosity. Why the wardstone? What was the reason for capturing it like they had?

Then their plan was revealed. He sees the demoness Areelu using a deep purple crystal to corrupt the wardstone fragment...in a moment, a fraction of a second, the Crusade is over and the demons have turned the tide of battle. With such a sudden, vast change in the size of each army, Barundar doesn't doubt that if she had succeeded, the Crusaders would've been driven away from Kenabres...and not just Kenabres, but probably the entire border of the Worldwound would've expanded significantly. The demoniacs would've been able to stage an immediate offensive and there would've been little the forces of good could've done to stop it; not for a time, at least.

Despite this great victory, Barundar feels himself only that much more determined. If the demons were capable of staging so grand a plan, and had come within days of seeing it succeed, what else were they capable of? The fight wasn't over. The ringing of Torag's forge still fresh in his ears, his resolution seems to increase with each new note that peals.

Staunton Vhane's visage causes a red tinge to cloud her mind's eye. Her fear is chased away, replaced by her rage. Traitor. Oathbreaker.

The vision of Minagho causes Victrix to wince. One of their masterminds. Another name on the list.

Now for Areelu Vorlesh. Corrupting the wardstone, the shield of Kenabres. The one thing keeping the demons at bay. Her breath catches in her throat. Beautiful. Utterly evil. The source of all the suffering here.

Her eyes snap open, blank. She tries to get up, but her muscles don't feel like cooperating.

Khorramzadeh. Staunton Vhane. Minagho. Areelu Vorlesh. KILL THEM ALL KILL THEM ALL KILL THEM ALL KILL THEM ALL KILL THEM ALL KILL THEM ALL KILL THEM ALL

The mantra keeps going. It keeps going. It makes sense. She's not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

I think Victrix needs a nap. Or a drink. Or ten. Or... oh, hell with it. Victrix calls dibs on the first keg the party finds.

The visions end and a figure resolves itself into reality near where the wardstone once stood.

Areelu Vorlesh, demon witch of Undarin stands before you.

This only delays your kind's extinction. But at least I can take steps to hasten your own. the half succubi says with a snarl.

Irabeth, seeing the woman appear, charges her sword upraised but crashes to the ground choking and gagging as Vorlesh makes an arcane gesture.

She seems irritated and speaks again The death throes of your wardstone seem to be protecting you from my magic. No matter. They cannot protect you from my slaves

With this Areelu spreads her arms wide and tears a rift in reality, two creatures one with the body of an insect and the other a vulture tumble through the portal from the Abyss, you see various other demons jockeying for position to come through, including several Glabrezu's and even a Balor.

Suddenly the golden light pulses from your bodies and slams into Vorlesh, breaking her bones and shredding her wings violently. She screams in pain and disappears, her magic dispelled. However, the two demons remain. As the pulse of light leaves you, you are no longer stunned.

Effects of the Wardstone on everyone.:

Damage reduction 10/good
Regeneration 5 (unholy damage or evil spells)
Resist acid 10 and fire 10
Each PC glows with bright light that automatically
dispels any 3rd-level or lower darkness effect they enter.
Each PC's attacks are treated as good for the purposes of
overcoming damage reduction, and deals +2d6 points of
damage against creatures with the evil subtype.
Once per round as an immediate action, a PC can roll
1d12 and add the result to any d20 roll he just made.
PC's gain +4 on all saves versus creatures with the evil subtype.

You immediately identify the spell cast as Mass Suffocation, and you know that Vorlesh was not actually in the Grey Garrison. Her form was a powerful projected image.

They are pretty standard demons with a poisonous stinger and a few spell like abilities including enervation 2/day contagion 2/day. This one looks young, like it has not been around for a while (young template, lower racial HD). The Vulture demon is a Vrock, standard from prd

Are we still under the effect of the Bless and PFE? I know the Haste is probably gone, but did the visions last long enough to get rid of the other two effects? If they're still active, my attack roll would be a 22.

Laughing once more as the Fiends waste their magic on her while her compatriots reduce them to the Abyssal clay from which they crawled, Belledonna pulls out Aravashnial's gift. I'm not really strict about line of sight but iirc the rule is any one corner of its squares to any part of your squares constitutes having LOS, now you could argue partial/full cover but I think the ray would have still hit. Irabeth is at 0HP and unconscious
