Gonna be in a meeting pretty much all day today so probably no updates until this evening.

Sorry all, whatever I've been sick with is rearing it's ugly head yet again. Spending most of my time sleeping.

Don't forget: Victrix heals an additional 5 HP every time Brighton heals her while she's enraged! :)

Question, GM Niles:
Mythic Handbook wrote: The legendary surge ability allows the bearer to add the result of a d6 to the appropriate type of roll or check. A mythic bearer can use her surge die type in place of the d6. If she's bonded to the item, she can increase that die type by one step. Does this statement mean that if I use the Mythic Surge ability to add to an attack roll made by Radiance instead of a point from its own Legendary Surge ability, the die type goes up to a d8 instead of a d6?
Drezen Citadel Drezen Dungeon of Drezen
Yes. Thats how i read the ability. If you use your own mythic surge its more powerful.

In case you guys wondered what my policy on botting in combat was, I go by the 24hr rule. If you haven't posted in gameplay for 24 hours I'll bot your turn until you post an action. Unless I know ahead of time you are out of town or unable to post, like in Belle's case right now.

In the interests of moving things along, next round Belledonna will be casting Protection from Evil on Victrix. Following that, I will go ahead & cast it on the others as well.

Calloo Callai, Oh Frabjous Day!
I may be presumptive in my joy, but so far it seems that this last effort on my part has removed the loathsome malware which has afflicted my computer, low these two weeks or so. I will endeavor to return to the optimal posting rate.
Retired - Adventure Path Complete!
Actually, GM, since Victrix is Enlarged, doesn't she have enough reach to hit Ustaril with an Attack of Opportunity while he's casting his spell?
Drezen Citadel Drezen Dungeon of Drezen
Yeah, I'll redo the round. Forgot about your reach.
Drezen Citadel Drezen Dungeon of Drezen
I will mention again, that 1/day posting is the minimum required to keep my attention on a game. I would hate to cancel this one but I cannot justify spending time making maps and adjusting statblocks and working on a game if I cannot at least post a couple times to it throughout the day. This messageboard is the way I decompress at work and "get away" for a few minutes each day, there is nothing more disheartening to me than clicking refresh and seeing 0 posts in 24 hours.

I share your pain guys. On the one hand, I am very much akin to GM Niles in that this is my 'relief valve' so-to-speak. On the other, life has decided that it is time for me to get very busy recently for some reason...
On the gripping hand, work is actually where I am best able to post, since I can just about do my job in my sleep & one of the few perks is that there are no filters so I don't have to worry about IT examining my browser history & going WTH?! Of course, the down side of that is that my workweek starts on Saturday... Except I am covering a shift for a co-worker tonight so this week it starts tonight at seven Central.

Game Mastery Guide wrote: Curing Addiction
As addictions are diseases, they can be cured as such, through the use of spells like remove disease or by succeeding at Fortitude saves over time. Unlike with other diseases, an addicted character can only make a Fortitude save to overcome his addiction after a day of not taking the drug he is addicted to. The DC of this Fortitude save is equal to the highest addiction DC his drug use has reached (not necessarily the DC that addicted him if he has continued to make use of the drug while addicted). This DC decreases by –2 for everyday the character does not make use of the drug, to a minimum of the drug's base addiction DC. Depending on the severity of the character's addiction, it might take two or three consecutive successful Fortitude saves to overcome the disease. Should a character take a dose of the drug he's addicted to, he immediately relapses, causing the addiction DC to instantly return to its highest DC and negating any successful past saves.
So it looks like Remove Disease will eliminate physical addictions. Psychological addictions are likely to require time & repeated Will saves...
edit: Never Mind. I just noticed & then emboldened the relevant sentence. Aron has relapsed...

Guys, I'm sorry. I have a really sick sense of humor. Belledonna genuinely believes that she isn't intimidating/scary. That's why she has put effort into learning how to be intimidating/scary; I.E.: put skill ranks into Intimidate. I honestly didn't originally envision her as being this nuts...
Remind me never to play Tieflings again.

Okay, unless I am missing something, they are both waiting armies. They are both entrenched, they will both see us coming. Attacking them, as they are, will be allowing them to dictate the battle. If we want to dictate the battle, we are going to have to do something other than just advance.
We have:
Crusaders; mid speed, durable, good damage against evil.
Rangers; slowest speed, ranged
Sarkoris; Fastest speed, hits hard, probably least well defended.
I put forward the idea of using Sarkoris as a feint to draw the defenders out and no one said anything. Others put forward the idea of getting the Rangers up for the advantage of high ground & the terrain isn't amenable.
Does any one else have a better idea? Because if not, it still looks to me that our best plan is to have Sarkoris go for a feint & try to draw them after us into an ambush with the Crusaders in either a pincer maneuver or divded with half keeping them off the Rangers while the Rangers pincushion them & the other half providing a 'second wave' for Sarkoris.
Retired - Adventure Path Complete!
I like the idea of the pincer attack. Sarkoris can go for a feint with the Rangers providing covering fire.

We will do it today. It will go like this.
Kellids advance during ranged phase. Rangers shoot during ranged phase. Knights shoot during ranged phase.
Melee phase, Kellids attack and then roll morale to retreat in an organized manner, hopefully drawing out the tiefling army and denying them the +2 DV and OM for the ruins.
Knights attack the demon army and smite evil, and then its on like donkey kong.

I like reading about the battles, but I do not have anything meaningful to add as I do not command an army. So I am staying silent. If that is a problem, let me know.

I would actually favor either Belledonna or Brighton as first watch, with the other as last. Otherwise, that looks good, Victrix.
I will have a gameplay post up in a bit.

Brighton does not need rest for spells, only not casting them during 8 hours. And Konny can take Bel's watch unless there is any reason (for him to be paired with Barundar) that I am not aware of.
Retired - Adventure Path Complete!
Eh, I was just hashing it out. I thought Brighton needed to pray for his spells.

If I remember correctly, he does, but the restriction on Clerics is that they have to pray for spells at a specific time each day, determined by their deity, not that they have to rest/sleep for eight hours prior.
