Seemingly unfazed by the days exertions, Seventeen says, "I'm good to fight on, but what you suggest may be wise brother. Should our rest get interrupted I will be able to defend us, if we carried on that would no longer be the case."

Both doors to this room are battered outward and hang askew on their hinges. The furnishings within-a pair of large metal cages and a desk-have been smashed to pieces and pushed together into a large nest.

This is where Jarreck found the All Tools Vest.

Currently the Fourth Floor of the tower has been looked over, there is one exit going up and two going down.

This wide, curved hall ends in a metal hatch to the northwest. A large slate board covered with neat lettering hangs on the east wall. A flight of stairs to the east leads up, while another flight to the south leads down. The door to the southern stairwell appears to have been borrowed or chewed through.

Upon hearing the door is warded, Seventeen gets out her notes and flips to a particular page with what appears to be a very complex flow chart. She whispers a familiar arcane phrase to attune herself to the ethereal and studies the energies anchoring the spell complex to the door.

She casts detect magic and concentrates for 3 rounds. I forget which check is needed to identify the trap

Seven senses a Strong Evocation aura but cannot identify the spell.

Jarreck however, is nifty with his tools and manages to deftly turn aside the magical trap. (It was a CR10 magic door trap, +15 to hit touch and 12d6 shocking damage)

This large chamber appears to be a combination of bedroom and
study. A large window to the northwest, fitted with sturdy metal
slats, lets in light and air, while elaborate tapestries depicting
gloomy landscapes and gothic architecture adorn the walls. A
large bed sits in the room, its fine coverings frayed and dusty.
A small desk against the southwest wall is bare, while doors
provide several exits-although no handle adorns the door to
the northwest. Instead of a handle or knob, it bears a small plate
of coppery metal.

Giant red text was flashing on Seventeen's HUD as she stumbled away from the ghastly billowing cloud. Her friends were stuck inside so she did the only logical thing and pulls out the wand they found in the lab and whispers the command word. Suddenly an arctic blast of air rips into the roiling green cloud!

Seventeen moves west and uses the Wand of Gust of Wind 17 charges left.

Mort's skin begins to turn rocky and dark brown, then he starts growing and adding more roughness to his own features. In the end, a human-sized shape made of dark rock, mud and black earth stands where the gnome once was. It makes a rumbling sound as it bellows, before gliding through the stone floor and arriving at the other side of the wall of force, next to Furkas himself.

Omo, would it have mattered at all? Would losing 1 Con or none changed your actions? Even if so, you could always post if/then. My expectation for posting has been pretty clear these past years, 24 hours in combat or else I'm delaying/botting. At this point its too much for me to look up everything to bot someone effectively.

Guaire bashes the wall, but it shows little damage.

From my perspective, it feels a little abrupt and rude. It's not like I wasn't actively checking the boards and responding at the time nor was it like you weren't also on the boards replying to other things. From my perspective, I asked a question and then you waited half a day or more to respond and push forward in the same post. However, in your defense, you are correct that my potential actions would likely have been much the same. But, when I posted my question I did not imagine that there would be any real delay.

Mr. Hellion moves forward either waiting for the wall to come down or the ghost to pass through it.

Omo moves forward a little, but trying not to clump so much for future fire balls.

Unsure that Jarreck would have known the wall was there or unassailable if it had in fact pushed him back during creation, Round 2 was an impotent attack against the wall, didn't bother rolling hardness 30 pretty much sank him right there; then he ranged back and forth looking for an opening before calling out to the others.

"well if he wants to hide over on that side of the wall let's see if he likes my continued snooping" Jarreck says to himself as he turns and opens the door behind him. leading to F24, Jarreck is trying to draw him out from behind his protection
