As the Druids come into range they lead the way with plant growth, which quickly wraps itself around Malthorn's lower legs.

Realized I haven't been keeping track of hits as closely as I should have. Looking back , Talus has been hit 4 times by needle blights for 8, 8 ,12 and 12 hp each. But, you might not have realized, and I'll add this status to my posts from now on, Talus has psionic resilence that grants him 5 temp hp at the start of each turn as soon as combat starts. So that brings his total down to 25 hp damage.

Talus frowns down at the vines that seek to prevent his movement and strains against them...

Str, DC 12: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

... his frown becomes a scowl as the vines hold him fast.

With a shrug, he pays them no mind for the moment, focussing his will on one of the berserkers accosting Gail.

Seeing Ozgo beset, Gail whispers, "Oak father..." and concentrates on a spot between the druid and the berserker who are attacking him. She is once more answered by a concussion and a pillar of light and sound lancing out from the storm above!

I may need to start healing soon, still attacking seems the best way to ensure folks don't die.

The druids posing more of a problem than the beserkers were in the long run, and the fact they were pretty well covered by his companions, Malthorn takes aim and looses rays at two of the druids.

The berserker's axe strikes deep and gale glimpses a flash of white bone before a huge spurt of arterial red fulls the wound. Desperately she clings to her connection to the storm and part of her mind lashes out with it, sending a cracking arc to jolt him.

Reeling from the pain Gail grimly focus on the berserker willing the lightning to consume him. Again another incandescent concussion flashes down striking him and the one behind him!

Can I see if the two barbarians by Gail drop before I act? Just wondering if I should go there or move towards the druids...either way, I will use all my healing to revive myself

Yet again Gail reaches for the roiling storm above and concentrates on the area in front of her. And yet again the storm vents it's fury in an pillar of incandescence that arcs mercilessly down onto the berserkers. After the flash a whiff of ozone and the bitter stench of ozone combine with the disturbingly sweet aroma of charred meat.

FYI. In 5E there's no such thing as rolling to "aid another" if you help someone they just get advantage on the roll. So, assisting Talus in that way would give him advantage on the Strength roll

A troubled eye looking towards the over grown blight, Malthorn moves back to where he got the axe from the tree.

Looking towards Gail "while I check this out think you can figure out what killed this guy, seem strange that the druids would have left an axe embedded in one of their sacred, as if anything is sacred here, err sorry sacred trees." he ask poin ting towards the skeleton.
