Sorry, I did not want to keep posting in gameplay. Monster text block from monster.
Just want to throw this out there at you gm Rhylellia is a pretty much a spy. She is trained to pick up clues and traps others miss. I understand that you say the party has no reason to believe that anybody knows. However, she is suppose to be an Intelligent spy and is therefore more than a little paranoid. She knows what her people and her can do, and any enemy capable of putting 'humanity,' not a nation in chains has to have much much more.
Rhylellia would have stayed back more away from the dying man, more concerned with who was listening to it, then comforting a dying man. She do this knowing full well that even then there are divination magics that make it impossible to know without the right protection.
I do not know how you want your campaign to go, but I looks like a god killer. I could totally be wrong, but that is kind how the intro felt. If a god is involved (even if it is a new god) and she has full right to believe so? Then, the powers he/she/it would have access to would be so far beyond what she would understand, but she would know that those powers would be far above what Clerics and Wizards could do.
So nut shell Rhyla= meticulous, kind of paranoid and perfectionist, because if not = dead spy.
So, even if the party chooses to leave right away she will follow and not speak of it again. It will be the last time she talk to the party about doing underhanded stuff, because she'll assume they are not down for it. She will just do it on her time.
Thank you
Monster

No worries, Rhylellia. I just wanted to make sure nothing had been misunderstood since you were coming in part way along. Just because there's no evidence that anybody else is on your case, doesn't mean there isn't. I was just making it clear from the various investigations you did while the rest of the party was being side-tracked by bandits, that there was nothing to learn...yet.
As per Alexis' question, I had figured all the shopping and recruiting happened the next morning, as it took you the full day to track down the owners of the goods you recovered.
Concert is over, to huge success, so I'll be back around now. My band goes on our annual trip next Thursday, so my posting will be spotty from the 11-13, then back to full.
I'll advance the game thread tomorrow morning.

Rhylellia, if you aren't familiar with Ditzie maps, you can move your own token, and afterwards, hit enter, then copy and paste the new link into your combat post. Always click on the most recent map link to see the most up-to-date version. As a convention, each time somebody posts a new link, we increase the counter (so next map is MAP 2).
You should be able to view the maps on a smart phone, but I don't think they allow editing capabilities. If you don't actually change any positions, you don't need to post an updated version.

Just a heads up, I'm going out of town tomorrow morning, and internet access will likely be sketchy at best, so feel free to bot me if I'm holding things up.

I was thinking I wish I had an NPC traveling with the party, whom I could use to move dialog along, etc., and then I remembered that I do now! And, that I've forgotten to have him participate in this entire battle, which he certainly would have. I guess he spent the first round drawing his sword and readying his shield!

ouch.. I have no idea what I would do...

Probably both iron cobras, I just went with a wooden one because they have a climb speed and if you'd tried to come intonthisbroom through the other door, that door being stuck would have alerted the snake to get into position over the door to drop on you from above.
Figured you'd all enjoy that, but alas.

I hate snakes.

Hey, take your time and don't push yourself, just remember you gotta try and stay happy in the end, but Stuff like that is rough.

That is true. Keeping occupied helps. I am glad this game did not drop off. The Call of Cthulhu/Carrion Corpse game I was I seems to have dropped out of existence.
And there is the perk that we are going up. In all the horror movies I have ever seen, which is not very many mind you, the future victims run up stares and then the crazy person catches them :) Wooden snakes and skeletons are the crazy people in this scenario.

Let's say Alexis piked up a longbow in the storage room. She picked up an assortment of regular, blunt, and piercing arrows.
Here's what I see her stats for the bow as:
Ranged +5 longbow (1d8)
I would have thought that her attack bonus would be the same as her single wielding her short sword or kukri, but I'm not seeing why those are +6.
I'm just trying to help, here. I hope that's how it's taken.

Home rule bump to never, I'd imagine.

I am very bad at math but in this case it is the +3Dex, +2BaB, and +1 home rule, I think... My goblin barbarian was deprived of attack bonus and damage thanks to my bad math abilities. No offence is taken.
So I think I glazed over the weapons room, sorry about that. If it is ok to retcon it I would have collected a ranged weapon but if not I am fine with that.

So everyone get in a lost next Saturday? Seems good.
