Zeltyieli Alikathesu |
Zeltyieli watches the girl run off and allows himself to relax a moment, These folk are willing to make their lives harder for the sake of good and mercy... It would have been far easier to kill that one as she slept, and possible even more lucrative... but the only debate was how we would go about sparing her... Maybe it's time, then...
He steps forward and says gently, "Before we continue, let me say a prayer over you... It will allow me to fill you with the Eternal Joy's spirit more easily.... And from a short distance away."
Caravan Bond... Can get 5 companions, so that would be everyone.
GM Lithrac |
Gazing quickly at her unfortunate companion, she shivers. "Eight, including our leader. Will you let me go?"
A bit further down the hall, there's a room whose eastern wall is buried under an ancient pile of rubble. Sitting near the entrance is a wooden crate and a dull gray amphora.
Further still, a flight of stairs goes down.
Ramenhotep the Risen |
Appraise: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
"Pah!" Ramenhotep surprises himself as he fiddles with the amphora, opening it up to reveal a trove of ancient Thassilonian coins! 98 coins worth 486 gp; the amphora is worth 35 gp
Hralyk the Crooked |
Hralyk nods. "When we return this way, we will release you from your bonds. Until then, you will keep quiet and don't make us regret our decision." He then finishes binding and gagging the girl and makes his way down the hallway.
Hralyk takes a moment and opens the crate, peering inside to see if there is anything of use or value.
Telka Beast-Talker |
"The treasures of dead men, bah! Let us be quick about finding the quick; they are probably already meddling with something too dangerous for their own good."
Zeltyieli Alikathesu |
I'd vote for sending a sneaky type forward, personally, work the rest following as quietky as we can manage from a safe distance.
Zeltyieli Alikathesu |
Zeltyieli suggests, "Go ahead of us Telka and get a look.. We'll follow behind with our lights and loud footsteps."
GM Lithrac |
Telka moves stealthily forward in the ancient halls of the Crow. Climbing down the stairs, the half-orc arrives in a large room with no furniture but many signs of frequent passage. The bard hears voices coming from the northeast corridor, as well as from the southern one.
Updated map
Hralyk the Crooked |
After the bard leaves, Hralyk gives a several-second head start and begins making his own way down the stairs.
Stealth (ACP): 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 2 - 4 = 18
Telka Beast-Talker |
Over her message Telka whispers about what she hears
A room to the far left and back - another room immediately to my right. Both have people. Let us keep them trapped in their holes! I will go left, you take the right Hralyk.
Telka moves to block the door to far room - and to see what she sees...
Not that we are technically in initiative, but double move.
GM Lithrac |
It should be noted that there is no door, just passages.
A dozen bedrolls occupy this large chamber, and a few pieces of crude wooden furniture have been set up between them—a couple of scavenged chairs, a bench, and a short table. Torches mounted on brackets in each wall burn merrily. Three Tower Girls—particularly beautiful women—occupy themselves by tossing bread crumbs to two donkey rats that spring about the floor scooping them up.

Hralyk, torn between doing what he's told and getting the chance to engage in another melee, finally decides that he will keep an eye on their rear from closer to the melee.

Telka Beast-Talker |
Sorry, true. I've been playing Temple of Elemental Evil CRPG recently. 3.5 rules on the brain. I'll copy actual prd text.

Hralyk, shouldn't that be +3 (str) +1 (Bab) -1 (PA) + 1 (bless) +1 (inspire) +2 flank = +7 to hit..? Dunno if 15 is good enough, but it's way better than 10
