I'll be clear. The goblins can act in the surprise round with Coran. After that, we'll kick off Round 1 with everyone else. You can change or add to your action if desired.

Surprise Round
A goblin with a bow as tall has he is, appears in the corridor above you and fires an arrow right at Jo. But even as the arrow arcs toward Jo, it is clear that the barbarian is not really his target. The box at Jo's feet is.
Attack 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
The arrow strikes the box and you hear a high-pitched giggle from the intersection as the box explodes in a swarm of spiders. The goblin disappears to your right. The spiders immediately begin crawling all over Jo's legs, scurrying for a new hidey-hole.
Jo takes 1d6 ⇒ 2 damage and needs to make a Fort save.

Next to Roman, the doors bang open away from Roman and four goblins appear in the doorway. The front two brandish wicked looking knives or small swords. In back the other two hold torches and screech, "Burn them, burn them! Bite them and kick them! Kill the longshanks for Whitechin! We'll have a tasty feast tonight!" The two next to him strike with their swords while the other two toss torches, one at Roman and one at Coran.
Attack (Sword) 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Attack (Sword) 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Attack (Torch) 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 2 - 4 = 1
Attack (Torch) 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 4 = 13
Both swords miss, one barely deflected by Coran's spell. The two torches call harmlessly to the floor as the goblins that pitched them switch to their bows.

Roman announces that he hears giggling and skittering from behind the double door, right before it is swung open and the fight begins. He deftly avoids the first clumsy blows of the wretched creatures, and calmly steps back southeast. 5-ft. step to J2.
He briefly touches the image of the rose on his chest pocket as he silently prays to his goddess.
Milani, let the justice be served in avenging the victims of these creatures. Swift action - Judgement of Justice
Raising his bow, he releases two arrows at the nearest knife-wielding goblin.
Point blank shot, Rapid shot, Judgement of Justice

Atk2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

He then drops his bow and draws steel, bracing himself for the goblin onslaught.

Emmett gets nervous fast as the spiders and the goblins start crawling everywhere. Still, he focuses on the goblin who seemed to lead the onslaught and is clever enough to pull that spider stunt.

Round 1: Jo, Xianae, Moondark, Emmett, Coran, Baddies, Roman, Byron

Jo, you made the save against poison, but I forgot you also need to make one (also Fort) against distraction or be nauseated (1 round). You can still move if nauseated, but not attack.

I'll resolve everyone else after Jo since it may have an effect on where Xianae moves to. The goblins are still in the doorway. Emmett, for planning purposes, you are not within 30 feet of that goblin.

Round 1

Jo shakes off the effects of the swarm and moves to stand next to Roman in the doorway. Angry at Whitechin and the swarm, he brings Rosebud down in a crunching blow that obliterates the goblin in front of him in a spray of blood and brains.

Moondark stays in the entrance hall and draws a bead on the goblin in front of Roman. Pulling the trigger, her bolt flies forward with a soft twang of the string, flying true right into the eye of the goblin and killing it instantly.

Emmett steps into the hallway and with a few soft words, lays down a layer of slippery grease. Emmett, are you putting it under the goblins you can see or between you guys and the one that shot the box to release the swarm?

I had another view in mind... Now that I see the map, it doesn't make much sense to block our way in. I was thinking there were two fronts.

Emmett, seeing the battle unfold, refrains from casting his spell. Instead, he moves to get a better view of the situation.

Move to J2, trying to see Whitechin. If I still have a standard action, I will cast Grease on his bow (Reflex DC 15).

Dark Archive

Emmett, I think you did understand correctly originally. The archer was in B1 or B2, but has subsequently disappeared. You can move to J2 and cast grease on one of the goblins there or on the whole lot of them or you can double move up into the corridor where you saw the archer or you could lay down grease between you guys and where the archer vanished. You do not see an archer from J2.

Sorry guys. Nutty week. Coran - hopefully you can see it now.

From behind the successful goblin another one draws a shortbow and fires at Roman, but its shot goes awry.
Attack (Shortbow) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

On the other side of the grease from Emmett, the goblin with the huge bow reappears, firing a shot at Byron.
Attack (Longbow) 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Damage (Longbow) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

And the swarm moves inexorably onto Xianae, stinging and biting her with their tiny mandibles.
Damage 1d6 ⇒ 3 And provide 2 Fort saves please. First is poison, second is distraction.

Roman, you may take the 5-foot step into H2 and use your prior attack roll against the goblin at J0 or drop your bow and attack the one in front of you.

Round 2 Continued

Coran's shot goes off, but firing between Roman's legs and attempting to miss anything important he misjudges the speed of the toothy little terror and the crossbow bolt goes skittering off a way as the goblin leaps out of the way.

I think I missed an AoO for the swarm when Xianae moved.
1d6 ⇒ 5 damage plus Fort save (DC 11) to avoid distraction. I'll count the Fort save you already made against the poison.
As Xianae hurries out of the way of the swarm of spiders, the little pests bite her flesh over and over again.

1=Moondark, 2=Coran, 3=Roman 1d3 ⇒ 3
The swarm of biting spiders moves over Roman, crawling into every crack and crevice in his armor and stinging and biting him leaving painful wounds all over his flesh.
1d6 ⇒ 6 Two DC 11 Fort saves, one for distraction and one for poison.

The goblin in front of Roman, still trembling from Jo's rage manages a little laugh at the spiders all over the inquisitor and lashes out with his wicked little blade.
Attack 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 2 = 15
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 1
But, the little sword glances harmlessly off Roman's armor.

In front of Jo, his foe is trembling even worse, he puts a hand over his head and reaches out with his blade hoping to strike the inquisitor.
Attack 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 - 2 = 3
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 1
But in his terror, he misses the barbarian entirely.

Behind them, the third goblin fires his bow. 1=Roman, 2=Jo 1d2 ⇒ 1
An arrow flies toward the inquisitor...
Attack 1d20 + 4 - 4 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 4 - 2 = 4
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 3
...but misses completely.

1=Byron, 2=Xianae 1d2 ⇒ 1
Up by Byron and Xianae, the goblin who triggered the spiders takes a short step down the hall and fires an arrow at Byron.
Attack 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
The arrow slams into the rogue, punching right through his armor and just barely missing his lung.
