I just checked out Urgathoa, she is really cool and I had not realised that I was using the image of a goddess. I like it has it had black hair, coppery skin and copper eyes. Maybe I will become a goddess at some point?

GM, would it be possible for me to change my Skill Focus for a different feat? I have been thinking about the path I was going to take and it isn't worth it. I would like to switch it for Power Attack, if that is possible?
It has to be a feat that a non-magical character can choose, as it is my level 1 feat and I was not a Sorcerer then.

Byron, I forget if it allows you to request access when you try to hit the page. If so, go ahead and do it that way. If not, can you PM me an email address and I'll add your email. The reason I do this is I use art and maps from Paizo which is allowable for our group under their rules, but not if I open it up to the whole web.

On a side note, a campaign that I am currently participating in has had some problem with players disappearing, just wondering if anyone would like to sign on up?
We are playing Kingmaker and are in need of an Arcane user. We have just gotten to a bandit camp, not very far in. Probably been travelling "in game" for about 2-3 days.
Here is the link if you are interested.

Cool, once you have created a character, just drop a line in the discussion thread and speak to the GM.
It should be 25 point buy, with nothing below 10. There are 2 traits, campaign trait is not required. We have recently had another character join the group and he came in at level 2, starting with 250 GP. We have not reached level 2 yet, but am guessing it will be soon.
Oh and the Hit points will be done as follows : Half maximum Hit Points +1. then any other modifiers you may have. Have I missed anything out?

Have fun with Kingmaker guys. I'm in a really interesting group for that right now where I'm playing a half-elven witch. Perfect amount of interparty tension and some interesting times ahead.
BTW, sorry for the delay in posting. I was traveling this week and the outage of the Paizo boards torpedoed the one easy window I had to post. Hopefully the extra large post makes up for it. Feel free to interact along the way or plunge ahead as you prefer.

Ok, shameless self promotion here. My rum gremlins and island survival manual from the upcoming Kobold Quarterly/Open Design Journeys to the West book made the KQ blog today.
nice. def going to use this on my merry band of pirates ; ) they HATE swarms, too.

And now we take a brief break from our arachnid madness to announce that the newest Open Design project has just been revealed:
Midgard Tales
The work coming out of Open Design has been top-notch and one of the best parts of participating in the whole project is you get a chance to influence the design. At higher tiers of pledging, you also get a chance to get your own experience with game design. I've been a participant in the projects since Tales of the Old Margreve and just started getting my own design experience with Journeys to the West where I will have two monsters, one magic item, one NPC, and island, and an adventure in the final compilation.
Midgard Tales is pure adventures. Thirteen of them, set in Midgard, but undoubtedly many will be easily transferred to Golarion or the homebrew of your choice. The Kickstarter won't close until May 21, but some of the levels have limited backers, so if you're interested in writing an adventure, don't wait. I highly recommend it.

Coran Ven den Heuvel |

I am quite enjoying all the stuff coming out from Open Design, I just got the Bestiary and Tales of the the Margrave, and I am a contributor on Midgard Campaign setting but add anything except money due to time. I have the Zobeck stuff as well, I am hoping once I read through the Margrave I can convince my home group to play it.
I am looking at helping with this one as well and will contribute next pay cycle.

Its funny, but I think spending more money on it motivated me to get more involved. I was pretty hands off as a regular patron and it turns out that isn't unusual. Getting the added peak behind the curtain really motivated me to get more involved. There is no denying that the level of involvement I've taken has also required a lot of time. My adventure is 7500 words and the island was 5000. Those take quite a bit of time to write, but it is gratifying to know that they'll have my name attached to them too.

Coran Ven den Heuvel |

I am hoping to get more involved in the next batch of I love the process of how a game/setting come together and Should be more involved in the Midgard Patronage. I am hoping to get more involved that being said We just need to see if I get motivated enough.

Catching up on some bookkeeping for your characters. I'm not in a huge rush to get these addressed, but the campaign will be stronger once I have some of them worked out because I am going to work this material in and it sounds like we're headed for a little downtime to allow Jo, Xianae and Coran to recover.
Byron
Have you chosen your 2nd favored class as a half-elf? You don't have to right now and you don't even need to make use of it at all if you're going full Rogue (Thug), but thought I would check.
What is your campaign trait?
Do you want to further detail Gian-Luigi or any members of his gang or leave that to me?
Do you want to detail the theater where you sometimes work (name, key NPCs, etc.) or leave that to me?
Any specific connection to Sarenrae? She's not a real common deity in Westcrown, so I think we probably want some connection. Also, what is the source on Blade of Mercy, not familiar with that one. Got to be a story behind that silver holy symbol too.
I should have caught the Parade Armor earlier. I'm ok with it, but need the story about how you came by it or whether perhaps the group did take one set of Hellknight Armor back or you found it in the sewers. If not Hellknight armor, we can work that too, it could be dottari parade armor, not their usual getup, but that could work. Or it could be from the Chelish army or navy. Now, I also think we need to play running around in it. I don't have a problem with you covering it with a cloak, but there could be situations that might get...interesting.
Please be sure to tell me when you are hooking up the weapon cord. I'm also happy if we say, anytime I'm out of public or something like that. There may be situations where it won't make sense for it to be hooked up before a fight starts.

It's a little tricky balancing things for the larger group and I'm still feeling it out. You guys represent an APL of 3.5 when you would typically be 2. The last two encounters have been a pair of CR 3s which is a CR 5 encounter. So, they're sitting right between a challenging and a hard encounter. And I would say that's probably how they've been. The difficulty is that poor Jo (and then Xianae) bear the brunt of that in a melee encounter.

No, I have not picked it. Currently still vacillating between going full rogue, or 'trading out' to multi-class into fighter after level 4.
What is your campaign trait?
Westcrown Firebrand.

I am happy to provide details; how much information would you like? :-)

I liked the fact that she was a Goddess of redemption. 'Blade of Mercy' is originally a non-campaign trait from the 'Legacy of Fire Player's Guide'.

I am happy to change it to some less offensive armor ;-)

Any time Byron is out in public sounds fine to me; I agree, it would not be linked up if he was, say, having a bath, or eating dinner.

A paragraph or so on Gian-Luigi would be great. If it inspires any gang members, only a paragraph or so on them. No stat block. If we need it, I'll do it.
For a theater, a name will suffice and perhaps the city district. If you fancy any particular NPCs, a couple sentences or so. Otherwise, I can develop it from there.
The trait is fine. Not sure why it isn't showing up in Hero Lab, maybe 3.5 or they keyed it specifically to Legacy of Fire. I'm going to give some thought to Sarenrae in Westcrown. Maybe someone at the theater.
Up to you on the parade armor. I just plan to roleplay it if you're going to go that way.

All right, Roman's turn under the scope.
- We've probably discussed this before, but who is your god? Guessing Milani or Desna, but let me know.
- We need some connections to the city for you. Someone who helped you at night before you met Janiven and Arael? Old family friends? Your landlord? A favorite bartender? A religious connection? These are just ideas. Let's come up with one or two. Even Batman isn't a total loner.
- I think you have one too many Level 0 spells

Byron Radanavich |

I am doing these in stages.
Here is what I have compiled on the Hellcat Brotherhood:
The Quarrelsome Imp:
Outwardly a condemned pub, in the Rego Crua, the Quarrelsome Imp is the headquarters of the Hellcat Brotherhood. There is a large central room where rank-and-file members gather to eat, drink, and wench, but the building has other purposes, as well - torture chambers for information extraction, and appraisal rooms for fencing goods.
Gian-Luigi 'Hellstalker' Prominos:
Gian-Luigi is a giant bear of a Tiefling, with swarthy skin, flaming red hair, and purple cats’ eye pupils, whom Byron knows as the chief enforcer of the Hellcat Brotherhood (and Il Gatto’s right hand man), and with whom he has something of a love-hate relationship. Over time, they have grown to respect one another's battle prowess, but their lives outside the Brotherhood could not be more different - whilst Byron mourns what could have been, Gian-Luigi revels in his Fiendish heritage, and spends his life drinking and wenching, when he is not breaking the bones of those who default on payments, or cross the Brotherhood.
As far as Gian-Luigi is concerned, once you join the Brotherhood, they only way to leave it is in a coffin; he most certainly has not forgiven Byron for leaving, and would be quite eager to have a ‘chat’ with him to discuss his failings.
Gian-Luigi specialises in close-quarters fighting, deriving a great deal of pleasure from feeling the terror and pain of his victims; it calls to something deep inside him, a black rage that occasionally scares even him, but which makes him feel so viciously alive whenever it spills forth…
(I imagine Gian-Luigi as being a multiclass Fighter(Brawler) / Barbarian, who uses brass knuckles.)
Fahroni Borgale:
As a Half-Elven male, Fahroni tends to stick-out on the streets of Westcrown. Fortunately for him, however, what he excels at is forgery, and second-storey work. Utilising his keen Elven eyes, he has made a career out of targeting buildings at dusk and dawn, running along a knife’s edge between when the creatures of the night return to their dens, and the daytime guards arise from their beds, replacing priceless objects with cunningly crafted fakes.
Prospero Cimiducci:
Prospero is a middle-aged human of Taldan stock, with balding black hair and pince-nez glasses, who acts as the Brotherhoods primary fence – he has a reputation for being able to move expensive goods quickly and quietly. It is rumoured that he skims a little off the top with each transaction, but so far, Il Gatto has not sent Gian-Luigi to ‘pay a visit’, as he is still quite useful…
Ettore Malpreggia:
A middle-aged human of Taldan stock with greasy blonde hair, a crooked nose (supposedly broken in bar fight, and then poorly set), with a habit of licking his lips when excited, Ettore is the Brotherhood’s man when it comes to dealing in flesh – whether for rent (prostitution), or sale. Rumour suggests that his own tastes turn a little to the… exotic… but if there is any actual evidence of this, he works hard to suppress it.
Alfredo Battista:
A young Taldan male who grew up on the streets, before being ‘adopted’ into the Brotherhood, Alfredo is a low-level operative, primarily responsible for delivering messages, and the occasional package. Possessed of a modicum of intelligence, he understands more than he lets on, but as a rule, manages to keep his mouth shut, although his tongue can be loosened with the suitable application of coin.

Byron Radanavich |

Sergeant Mathos is a middle-aged Taldan male with salt-and-pepper grey hair, who tends to dress immaculately in a Dottari uniform that has been starched to within an inch of its life, and wears a breastplate polished to an almost mirror-like sheen. Unsurprisingly, he is largely retired from active duty, but still puts in several half-days a week as a drill instructor for the Dottari, trying to knock the greenness out of the new recruits.
However, when he was active on foot patrol, he had more than a few run-ins with Byron, whilst the latter was still a child. Despite his bluster, though, Mathos is a kind soul at heart; he knows that the Dottari have been reduced to little more than a private militia for those wealthy enough to afford it, and he honestly wishes that something could be done about it, but feels that the political inertia that would need to be overcome to do so is more than an old soldier is capable of by himself.
Still, over the years, Mathos has come to grudgingly respect the way the 'Half-Elf wretch' has found a vaguely useful (and moderately legal) way to spend his existence. Whilst not exactly friends, they do meet-up every so often and share a few beers, whilst Mathos 'checks-up' on how Byron is doing...

Roman Fomin |

I've settled on Milani as Roman's goddess.
I will develop a favorite bartender and a religious connection who introduced him to Milani. But I can't promise it right now, I'm a bit tight on time lately.
I should have 2 bonus level 0 spells because of the human racial favored class bonus. But I can switch it to HP/skill points if you like.
