GM Levi's Eberron PbP - For King and Country

I'll probably stick with what i have for parity with the group... after all, none of them get to re-roll.

Also, did you have any thoughts on the two concepts?

Levi, in terms of a replacement character (if you're still fine with it), I have two ideas. Both of which I'm still fleshing out. One seems fun for mechanical reasons... the other for role-play/personality ones. The fun mechanical one is a spin off the last suggestion. A changeling aberrant sorc going for the Recaster PrC. All kinds of fun to be had here, plus, I could keep the name Desh. :D

The second is a human sorc (type undecided) who has an aberrant dragonmark. A serious anti-hero with a serious attitude, though a strong desire to redeem himself of whatever evil gave him the mark. This is why he works as an agent of the Church of the Silver Flame.

You got any preferences between the two?

Nice to see you took my suggestion, and made it better! :), i rather like the Aberrant Bloodline twist, a lot. Personally my suggestion is this one.

I thought it was fun. I really still hope for the air pirate angle, but Desh is NG on his character sheet - and i just couldnt' see him being okay with wholesale slaughter of sailors. :D

I think the core rule book states that if a DM lies the players get 300000000 gp and 10 levels minimum or they can become a rank 1 deity. I think I will just be a deity. Thanks in advance. :)

really?? i always thought it was 600,000,000gp, 25 levels min and at least 2 artifacts created by the player.

I did not know you were allowing actions points.

You get 5+ 1/2 your level in action points (4/2= 2, 5+2=7), so you have 7.

Vorik's mostly finished. Added in some stuff I had forgotten, including HP, lol. love that because my Cha went up, my Fort and Will both jumped two points, lol.

Whatever you want. It's your character, and as long as they make sense, I'm okay with it. Just remember you're aiming for Bone Knight (correct)?

Oh, speaking of prestige class qualifications.

In 3.5, the skill requirements of a prestige class assumed the old 'four times teh number of skill points at lvl 1' thing. But Pathfinder doesn't do that. The problem is now the class i'm shooting to get into - Recaster - has a 9 ranks in Spellcraft pre-req. The obvious downside is that I can't make that until lvl 10.

Can we knock 3 ranks off that requirement to account for Pathfinder's version of "class skills"?

As long as the story is starting to unfold (though I know you are still confused -- it'll really open up within the next few weeks), I feel I should ask you all what you want to see in this game. What Eberron elements do you want to run into? And what don't you want to see?

WELL I would LOVE to see Sharn. Heh! I know... Technically for Darius to go back to Sharn he risks the headmans axe, according to his History, but Id still love to see it. And, if we make it to Level 7, I was wondering whether it would be okay if I took the Leadership Feat and acquired me a Warforged Fighter as a Cohort?

Getting involved with the Dragonmarked Houses could be fun. While I know some are at odds with each other, in my version of Eberron, it's much more of a friendly, albeit serious, rivalry. The House work more together then opposed in other words.

Sharn too could be fun, as would helping find a worthy successor for King Boranel or maybe helping him extend his life, helping root out the corruption in the Church of the Sliver Flame while protecting the Keeper, etc.

Really anything that allows us to mix it up with the movers and shakers, even if starting out slow and on a much smaller level would be awesome.

I have to say, Vorik is going to have an interesting crisis when the time comes to pick tween Kaius III and whoever we rescued(I'm assuming guessing is the previous Kaius?)
