Silver Crusade (Male Human(Ulfen) Paladin 1)

"I've been ready."

Haris is still rubbing his eyes from whatever had knocked him senseless, more from wounded pride than actual injury. "Let's get back to the Lodge for some milk and honey. And by that, I mean food and women."

Grand Lodge (male Human (Shoanti) Barbarian (Armored Hulk) 6)

"Sounds good entertainer. You're paying", Taurus says with a grunt.

Silver Crusade (male Elf Magus (Bladebound) 1)

Falyf shrugs "alright, let's get back."

Grand Lodge (male Human (Shoanti) Barbarian (Armored Hulk) 6)

Curraine, you still around?

"Let's head home..."

Silver Crusade (Male Elf Cleric, 1st)

I'm back. Been in Hawaii for a week and it's hard to get to a computer, let a lone care about getting to a computer

B!tchen fight Bros. We've got some shwag, the blade, and some stories. The question I have now is for Adimus. Turning to Adimus How's that bite, Bro-meister? Let me see your arm.

Curraine will use his last Channel Energy on the party to heal everyone up.

Channel Energy - 1d6 ⇒ 2

Also, we need to talk about the mission. We were sent, as Pathfinders, here to to recover the Katana. Check, mission accomplished. We were then approached by another dude, on the sly with promises of riches, to try and get him some paperwork. In my book, that's not the mission. I have no problem getting the paperwork but we are in the weeds here with no way of knowing what this stuff says. I say we turn it all over to the lodge, preferably the Silver Crusaide faction and let them desipher it. If they are indeed ritghious trade agreements, the big cheeses will do the right thing and turn them over

Silver Crusade (Male Human(Ulfen) Paladin 1)

"First off, ny arm is fine. I don't feel the urge to shamble or to eat brains. Taurus had a point. I'm a man of my word. I said we would return these papers to him, and I'm sure they belong to him in any case. "

Grand Lodge (male Human (Shoanti) Barbarian (Armored Hulk) 6)

"Disease needs time to take hold. We won't know if you're infected or not for at least a few days. Let the elf tend your wounds. A warrior that is too proud ends up dead, holyman."

Silver Crusade (Male Human(Ulfen) Paladin 1)

" Fair enough, Taurus. You sound like my old friend Tallak. " Adamus replies holding out his arm for the elf to tend.

Silver Crusade (Male Elf Cleric, 1st)

Bro-meister, I heard you when you said we'd return the docs and I'm cool with that. But, you look at these shreds and tell me for true they are trade agreements. I don't think you can and what better way to get something you want than to get a group of grommets to get them for you calling them a harmless trade agreement and that there's a big reward. I still say we get them identified by the Silver Crusiade before we hand them over. If they are trade agreements, diggit, you kept your word. If they aren't.... guess what? We aren't the dumba$$'s that got tricked and started an international dispute.

Now, hold still while I check your arm

Heal check - 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Silver Crusade (male Elf Magus (Bladebound) 1)

"We can get them checked, but if these are the documents he wanted, we need to return them," Falyf adds.

Taldor (Male Human Wizard 1)

It still seems like the party is divided on how to deal with the trade agreements. I can't continue until you come to a decision.

Silver Crusade (Male Human(Ulfen) Paladin 1)

"I say we get them checked out by a neutral party, then we return them if they check out. Sound good?"

Grand Lodge (male Human (Shoanti) Barbarian (Armored Hulk) 6)

Taurus shrugs his shoulders again, "What party did you have in mind?"

Silver Crusade (Male Human(Ulfen) Paladin 1)

"Someone from the Grand Lodge, like Venture Captain Ambrus, maybe?"

Grand Lodge (male Human (Shoanti) Barbarian (Armored Hulk) 6)

"That make any sense to you Curraine?"

Taldor (Male Human Wizard 1)

I'm going to assume he's fine with that plan as it's close to what he proposed.

Traveling back to the city, you bring the trade agreements to Venture Captain Ambrus for translation. He verifies that they detail pacts that Satrap Taliq Asad made with pirates, mercenary groups (for the protection of caravans), petty lords, and even a few nations scattered about the Inner Sea region. One agreement contains a personal note addressed to the Satrap, congratulating him on gaining the Li family’s jade katana and the promise it contains.

Silver Crusade (male Elf Magus (Bladebound) 1)

"Alrgiht then, let's return the katana, and the documents, and then we're done." Falyf suggests.

To speed things up, dayjob roll 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
5gp it is then

Silver Crusade (Male Human(Ulfen) Paladin 1)

"Yea. It's been a long day."

Taldor (Male Human Wizard 1)

Amara Li is ecstatic when you present her with the Jade Katana. Taking it in hand, she carefully examines it, and then manipulates the handle for a moment, causing the end cap to spring open. From within she extracts a document that causes her eyes to shine with triumph. She showers you with praise and says, “I must apologize for keeping this a secret, but I could not afford to trust anyone with it. This will greatly help my cause, and for bringing both the Katana and this document to me you will always be welcome within the Lantern Lodge.”

Leaving Amara, you then take the trade agreements to Trade Prince Aaqir al’Hakam. He accepts them with gratitude, and asks about the jade katana as well. It’s obvious he suspected the weapon held another secret, and is disappointed to learn it found its way to Amara first, but he does not blame you for ignorance and vows to keep his promises with a genuine bow of thanks.

A few days later you receive a personal note from Major Maldris. Having heard of your actions through his contacts in the Society he wishes to formally congratulate you on your good deed. “I know it was difficult,” the letter reads. “The undead sometimes cling to life, but they always turn to evil. This was a hard lesson that I felt you had to learn, to better serve the common good. As Pathfinders, we should always serve the common good and always fight for freedom.”

Color is starting to return to Haris's face, now that the group is back in the city. "You know something?", he comments to anyone listening, "Ghouls, spiders, ghosts and kobolds don't make very good audiences. Could we stick to the civilized side of Absalom next time?"

Silver Crusade (Male Human(Ulfen) Paladin 1)

"We go down the paths that we're given, Haris. It's all a part of the job."

"Of course you'd say that."
