Isilme:

The robes appear to just be mundane robes - there are no symbols or distinguishing features to mark them as belonging to some particular affiliation or another.

She is wearing eyeliner and make-up - an unusual choice for a soldier, though not unheard of for a Shelynite.

On her wrist is a silver bracelet with a single charm - a seven pointed crown wrapped in thorny vines.

WRONG ALIAS

"Have any of you ever seen a seven pointed crown wrapped in thorns before? This woman is wearing a bracelet with a charm?"

K. Religion DC 25, Valaria:
That is the symbol of Nocticula, demon lord of lust, darkness and assassins.

Val actually takes the time to face palm in the middle of combat. "Yes, I think I know what that is. And I really hope I know who that is. Otherwise we might have a problem. Is there a chance it's the tiefling we met in Kenabres, Ayavah?"

"I hardly think a woman who fell in combat defending you from demons is as big of a problem as some of the other things you've seen." is Xanderghul's contribution to the conversation, his face twisting into a small frown. "Although it is telling that she disguised herself."

"Now can somebody, anybody knock this big gargoyle out of the sky?"

Perhaps I should not have named the person I apparently didn't recognize! Or maybe she's just better at illusions than Ary is at determining she's using illusions! Huzzah! Ary's penalty to attacks and skills vanishes when she finds out she's been played! Then... returns when she realizes it's one of Valaria's friends. Nammit.

Ary slips out of the reach of the Gargoyle that is pressing forward. She briefly contemplates filling the gap to ensure that Valaria isn't flanked by the pair, but recognizes that the gargoyle is significantly more dangerous to herself than it is to Valaria. Likewise, the one assaulting Valaria needs to be brought down quickly. She focuses her attention on the scale once more, and aligns her own weapon.

"Bring down the one focusing on Ehren, then Valaria." Ary suggests, the woman being more than capable of defending herself... while Ehren could hardly move.

Audit: Ary is a derpface, and while I doubt it made a huge difference, should have used Anevia's really cool Debilitating Injury ability the only time she's used sneak attack!

"That shot was perfect, too. Musta been the wind." she says as she's once more dipped into shadow by the ioun stone floating around Isilme's head. And once more she literally bathes herself in it, seemingly melting into a pool of shadow and reappearing on the other side of Hinagiku, another shot arcing towards the very same Gargoyle. But though her attack slams into the creature's hide, it doesn't even seem to affect it. "Does anyone have a 'cover' spell? Cause I could really use cover. Irabeth! We're still alive in here! Well... Mostly! The fat one seems really agitated!"

Swift: Pinhole Gambit again.

No it's okay, now we get to have a cool "WHAT DID YOU DO WITH KATE" conversation! About how she was all of our favorite random-guard NPC, and how we all loved her so much... and how DARE this illusionist impersonate her!

"Are we not going to worry at all about the giant red-eyed demoness gargoyle above us, casting spells willy-nilly?" whines Xanderghul, pointing up into the air at the looking Xiveraka.

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

Isilme:
She doesn't really look like a tiefling. But they're subtle sometimes. She is carrying a backpack, which you could rummage around in, but that'd be a move action, regardless of if you take something out.

Valaria:
Unfortunately, she's like 40' away from you so you don't have a clear view of her face.

Anevia vanishes from her dangerous position and reappears safely several feet over. Her arrow connects with the gargoyle with almost poetic grace - though - unfortunately it doesn't seem to penetrate very deeply into the creature's stone-like hide, the shot is distracting all the same.

"Little fox?! You're alright? Good! Just hold on! We're almost done out here!"

Ary Fort save vs River of Wind (purity of faith): 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 1 = 23

Hinagiku is up!

Buffs | Char. Sheet |

How stupid had she been, stabilizing someone under a rain of hail, Hinagiku thought while Isilme made her way to the fallen crusader. No matter, she reassured herself, it was no time to reflect on passed mistakes, plus her celestial companion was now taking care of her. With more help, they could make sure she wouldn’t die.
”Mr. Ehren, if you go help miss Isilme, I can watch your back.” she says, after the others discuss the identity of the fallen woman.

About to follow Ehren and protect him from the gargoyles, Hinagiku stops in her tracks when she sees Anevia appear out of nowhere next to her. Decided not to let the woman face Xiveraka alone, Hinagiku changes her plans to protect Ehren and presses her attack on the foe next to her. In quick succession, she kicks the monster’s leg, punches its back, knees its foot and elbows its hip. However, the creature's hide proves to be ... different than she had expected. Though the flow of ब्रह्मा strengthens her enough to break through the stony skin, something else dampens her blow, something she cannot really fathom.

As she makes her strikes, Hinagiku hears Xanderghul's call. Yet, she knows she cannot go and protect him and that if she does not take the smaller stone onis called gargoyle's, Ehren won't make it long.

"Mr. Xanderghul, I'll attack the giant oni as soon as mr. Ehren is safe, you have to show us your skill and challenge it in the meanwhile." she says, her even tone carrying surprisingly well through the sounds of the storm.

Between being pelted by hailstones and being on the receiving end of the gargoyles' attacks, Ehren was not exactly feeling well. The power behind Ary's words took off the edge a little, but he knew that it could only last for so long. And as much as he wanted to help the dying "crusader" woman, there was little he could do with the two stone creatures standing right in front of him. Not to mention their mistress, who was floating just a scant few feet away. Taking a back step out of the enemies' reach, Ehren draws a glass bead from his component pouch and casts it at the gargoyles' feet.

A deluge of pure, clean water bursts out from the bead and swirls around in place, forming a large, churning orb that threatens to engulf the two gargoyles.

Ary's blade dances in a mad arc between herself and the gargoyle as she focuses on simply trying to stay alive against the thing. The lantern archon's boop is well-recieved, but she has little time for thanks, as each stroke draws breath out of her. Finally, she slams her shield forward, hoping to generate some space between her and the gargoyle as she takes a step backwards out of the stream of wind.

Anevia grabs Hinagiku's potion from her hip and dodges the gargoyles to get to the woman's side, cheekily drawing down one of her bottom eyelids with a finger as she runs past.

Meanwhile, Radiance dances across the Gargoyle's hide, enchanted with the magic gifted to the heroes with Terendelev's dying breaths. She finishes her attacks with an overhead chop with her blade and then a final push with Faith, shoving it far away from her. It staggers back, bleeding profusely from many wounds.

Hinagiku had hoped Anevia could make her way more quickly to the unconscious lady. Still, the hail was raining down, pummeling the helpless woman on the ground. One unlucky hit and she could die. So, she grabs unto her holy symbol and draws the holy power of Irori to bring forth a wave of healing energy.

After sidestepping away from the gargoyle, Ehren flicks a wrist, gesturing so as to direct the movement of his aqueous orb. He first directs it into the river of wind, crashing its upper half right into the gargoyle that initially evaded its currents. The sphere then rolls underneath Xiveraka, just short of slamming into Xanderghul, before changing direction and moving further away from the fight.

With his line of sight now clear, Ehren then uses his other hand to fire a dart of acid at the gargoyle attacking Hinagiku.

Hinagiku takes a large and low step to deftly and gracefully move behind the closest gargoyle. There, with Ary flanking the creature, she pummels it with elbow, fists, and knees. Though she preferred using her palms, holding the kyoketsu shoge made it impossible.

Each strike is partly deflected, dampened by, what Hinagiku now suspects, the corrupted and evil nature of the creatures. No matter, the power flowing within her blood makes her strikes strong enough to break through the creatures stony skin.

Book keeping: Valaria deals 20 damage to Xiveraka after DR, she is grazed. The 'crusader' stands up, and casts a spell. The eagle takes 4 damage, Xanderghul and the lady takes 3 damage, Valaria, Ary and Ehren take 2 damage, and Isilme takes 1 damage from the hailstones. The eagle is in critical condition and disabled. The dazzled condition on Xiveraka wears off. Xiveraka eliminates another of Xanderghul's mirror images.

Isilme is up!

WRONG ALIAS

Isilme turns her attention to the Gargoyle next to her between Hinagiku and Ary, attempting to skewer it with her rapier. "One by one they fall, and soon the Twisted Horns will be no more!" she calls out.

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

The gargoyle struggles to comprehend this unexpected turn of events, as the rapier sticking out of their body slowly drains their life away. Isilme withdraws her blade at an angle, leaving an open, ragged wound.

Book keeping: Isilme deals 7 damage to gargoyle #2, dealing 1d8 bleed on a crit. It is in critical condition.

Xanderghul is up!

Xanderghul grins. "You couldn't have been an easier target, you stupid stone b&~#@." he says, pointing at Valaria and Xiveraka with one hand each. He incants powerful evocation, and Valaria feels a force pick her up, align her body correctly, and hurtle her at Xiveraka.

"Eat cold iron." he says, as Valaria and her whirlwind of knives collides with the gargoyle captain. He takes a little step back, allowing her the room to slot in between the vicious gargoyle and him.

Cast telekinetic charge! Valaria moves into melee with Xiveraka and gets a free attack, with a +2 bonus, against her.

The lantern archon chirps some helpful encouragement as Ary contemptfully leaves the bleeding gargoyle behind and flies across the battlefield, over towards Ehren. It casts the very same helpful pseudohealing on him, hoping to preserve him just a little longer.

Cast aid on Ehren!

Temporary Health: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

Running with the assumption Valaria would have drawn a dagger as a free action at the end of her FRA, since she was likely planning to fling more daggers next turn.

Xanderghul charges Valaria into melee with Xiveraka without warning, though the swashbuckler ends up just running with it and drives her dagger in hand into the gargoyle woman's side. The priestess' crude attempt to dodge is in vain, and Valaria carves off a sizeable chunk of her flesh onto the ground.

Once again, Ehren backs out of the gargoyle's reach, nearly bumping into Hinagiku in the process. With a few quick glances, he could tell right away that the battle seemed to be reaching an end. He mutters a command word under his breath, dismissing the summoning spell he had cast earlier; there was no need to let the eagle suffer for any longer. For the most part, it seemed that they could finally focus their efforts on the enemy leader.

Valaria: Why do your thrown daggers have a damage modifier of +8 rather than +12?

Going with the assumption that Valaria wishes to spend an immediate action for an attack.

Ehren: Now that Valaria is in the way, in order to move the aqueous orb into Xiveraka without endangering an ally would require 35' of movement. What do you want to do?

Audit: Isilme's crit was to gargoyle #4, who is now KO'd.

Book keeping: Xanderghul uses telekinetic charge, engaging Valaria with Xiveraka. Valaria crits Xiveraka for 20 damage minus DR staggering her for 1 round. The lantern archon casts aid on Ehren, granting him 5 temp HP, he is now grazed. Ehren dismisses the eagle.

Ehren sends the aqueous orb further away, rolling it right into the gargoyle Ary had heavily wounded.

Directing the aqueous orb toward Twisted Horn #3.

Nonlethal Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

The dying gargoyle reacts too slowly to the incoming rolling ball of water and is swept into its currents. It falls unconscious and begins to drown, tinting the watery orb red from its many wounds.

The lone gargoyle left on its feet takes a step towards Ehren, cautiously watching the 'lantern archon' chiming above. It then throws itself at the young druid with reckless abandon. Hinagiku steps in to intervene, blocking each of the blows, though the gargoyle manages to sink its teeth into his shoulder while the kitsune is too busy redirecting its sharp claws.

EDIT:
Xanderghul concentration check vs hail (fails on a 1): 1d20 ⇒ 18

Audit: Valaria deals an additional 14 damage to Xiveraka with her magical good-aligned cold iron starknife, she is now wounded. Also she had a +2 attack bonus on her rolls from telekinetic charge. Also forgot Xanderghul's concentration check vs hail, but he made it so all is good.

Book keeping: Twisted Horn #3 fails its reflex save against aqueous orb, is dealt 9 NL damage, falls unconscious and begins drowning. Twisted Horn #2 fails its will save against aura of menace. Hinagiku consumes all of her AoOs this round guarding Ehren from Twisted Horn #2. Twisted Horn #2 deals 11 damage to Ehren, 8 applied to temp HP, he is wounded.

"Great. Just what we needed. A half-dead, half-naked, half-visible cultist running around in a hailstorm I'll... take care of this one, Captain." Anevia calls out with just a hint of sarcasm, "You get the ugly one." She then proceeds to roll beneath the lantern archon, and hopefully under the gargoyle's awaiting claws springboarding with a flourish to land opposite Ehren. "Tada!" she announces as she brings her shortsword which made its way into her hand somewhere during the tumble across in an arc.

45 feet of movement (thanks haste!) to move through the wind and into a flanking position without AoOs.

Radiance Attack (Grazed, Inspired, Haste, Favored (If half-fiend), Flanked): 1d20 + 11 - 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 11 - 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 2 = 29 27 if not half-fiend
Radiance Damage (Inispired, Favored): 1d8 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 15 13 damage if not half-fiend

Ary meanwhile slips across the battlefield, giving Xiveraka a large berth cape fluttering beside her as she steps through the wind tunnel. She stops across from Valaria, hoping to pin down the gargoyle's movements, Radiance slashing with a blinding arc in front of her.

If Any enemies within 20 feet (at all) move within 20 feet of Ary (even for a 5 foot step) or an ally within 20 feet is attacked, she'll activate Intruder's End. I forgot to mention, and not sure if it was accounted for previously, that it adds +2 to attacks of opportunities during that time! :)

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

Anevia rolls to behind the final gargoyle and jabs him in the back... but is frustrated when her mundane sword simply bounces off of its stony hide with a loud clang. Meanwhile, her Commander moves into the River of Wind and braces herself... but she ends up getting caught in a powerful gust and torn from her feet. She slides down the battlefield, getting bumped and bruised by the rocky battlefield as she goes.

Ary fort save vs River of Wind (purity of faith, grazed): 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 1 - 1 = 14
Ary NL damage from River of Wind: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11

Ary: You still have a move action so if you wanna spend that getting to your feet, go for it.

Audit: Ehren isn't actually wielding a weapon, and doesn't have natural attacks nor improved unarmed strikes, so he isn't a viable flanking partner for Anevia. So her attack roll is a 22 and her damage is 10.

The gargoyles are not half-fiends, not even Xiveraka :(

Book keeping: Anevia pulls off an acrobatic gambit vs Twisted Horn #2, but doesn't deal any damage vs DR. Ary fails her save vs River of Wind and falls prone. Ary takes 11 NL damage.

Hinagiku is up!

Buffs | Char. Sheet |

"Ary, are you alright?" Hinagiku asks calmly, moving in next to the commander with the kyketsu shoge circling over her head, ready to strike at foes, and provide protective covers.

While maintaining part of her attention on Ary, Hinagiku takes advantage of her position to finally help Ehren; she strikes multiple time at the gargoyle next to him. This time, she uses mainly kicks, attacking the gargoyles lower joints, hip, and even its shoulder.

5'step, flurry

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

Hinagiku's strikes land with sharp cracking sounds as she shatters the gargoyle's stony hide at key points, leaving the poor creature a hobbling wreck. Her final blow crashes down like a strike of lightning. The gargoyle collapses at her feet.

Hinagiku acrobatic gambit damage: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 1) = 9

Audit: Heroes attacking gargoyle #2 gain an extra 1d6 of damage thanks to acrobatic gambit.

Book keeping: Hinagiku deals 34 damage minus DR to gargoyle #2, KOing it.
