The crab turns his attention to the swimming alligator.

Not willing to let these things get away, Robin drops his bow, and dives into the water, pulling his trident. He then stabs into the crab with the trident in both hands.

I was wrong - forgot Lingering Performance - you continue to benefit from Inspire for two rounds underwater

Janira stops her performance and takes a deep breathe... She takes off running and jumps into the water "Geronimo!"

Once underwater, she uses her whip to attempt to Aid Agriver's next attack.

Since both are underwater, both hear a quiet whistle coming from the tunnel. From Agriver's new point of view, the gate is no longer barring the passage.

Yon swims down, and flanks the crab with Robin. i can't make the piece translucent from my phone but I'm down there I swear! Also, plenty of movement to avoid aoo.

Then he bites:

Robin looks around, carefully, looking for the undine (move action).

Robin signals the others to follow, and swims to the tunnel between the rooms...

He pops his head up, and says, "The undine is on the other side!"

Agriver considers swimming in his full plate and opts to pull himself out and move into the other room double move

"Let's go!"

Janira follows Agriver's lead.

Agriver hears splashing in the next room, a grunt and then silence.

The party moves into the room and fails to find the Undine. combat over

Robin gets out of the water, and collects his bow. He then moves to near the unopened door to the west, has his bow at the ready. "Agriver, all, you ready to open this door? Maybe you should all heal up, first."

Yon nods his aligator head.

"Those crab things are tough. That was an awesome stab Vala - you are deadly with that rapier!"

Janira shakes off some of the water after climbing out of the pool.

Yon takes 10 to get out of the water, his stumpy alligator legs and cold blood making him think slow is good.

Vala checks the door and finds it to be safe. Agriver opens it and finds a submerged hallway with another magic barrier.

With a sigh the paladin pushes into the magical barrier and moves toward the first door. He nods at Vala and waits for her ok to proceed.

Agriver opens the two southern doors into empty closets.

Agriver swims up to the intersection with his guard up stops if issues and then proceeds to the far door. Bracing his feet on either side of the entrance incase another current lays behind he will push the door open just after waving the others near.

Robin sighs, puts his bow away, draws his trident, and follows Agriver in.

Agriver turns the handle and feels it ripped from his hand as the water rushes into the room.

For almost 30 seconds the party holds their places without falling into the room. The flow of water becomes manageable as the forward room is suddenly blocked by a giant Eel!

Vala allows the subtle current to pull her in, swimming as best she can to get to Agriver.

the current adds 10 to your swim move when moving into the room

When Yon shakes his head in Aligator form, it is much more pronounced, however the party cannot see it because he is in the back, and their attention is all directed at Agriver getting pulled toward the pool.

So Yon gets to work, he scrambles up to the water and slips in, to take a bite.

The Alligator manages to bite into the Moray Eel, and death roll it releasing Agriver.

The Eel turns its attention to the Alligator biting it.

The Eel flips the grapple and holds the Alligator in its mouth.

Robin moves in, trident at hand, hoping that his scaly brother holds the big eel. 'we will eat good tonight! he thinks, as he stabs his trident into the eel's side.

Agriver watches in awe as the gator rolls around with the eel.

Nature is amazing, and Hanspur's blessings ar...

At which point he watched the eel rip a huge chunk of out Yon.

"perhaps those blessings could use some help..." the paladin answers aloud to himself.

Agriver places his hands upon the alligator briefly letting positive energy flow into the creature.

Robin hits for some damage.
Vala holds her position, and stabs at the Eel.

Janira casts Gallant Inspiration on Vala
Gallant Inspiration: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 but it is not enough.

Feeling the healing of Iomedae while he is grappled by the eel, Yon thinks, I have never seen this creature before, like a snake, but slimy, and living under water. It is truly unnatural for it to live here in this place. Those who brought it must be punished. But as I cannot give this beast to the place it belongs I must destroy it. Hopefully before it eats me...

Vaguely aware of the tapping beat, Yon's inner monologue follows suit, he thinks more, we are here to cleanse the unnatural. we are here to explore the ancient spaces. we are here to go back and report. we here cooperate. we will live!

And with that he begins to thrash with everything he can against the Giant Eel.

Yon spins, and grabs the eel, breaking it's hold. He then spins again, with it still in his mouth and swats with with his tail.

The tail hits hard, knocking the eel in the side of the head.

We have come to stop what is unnatural!

Yon fails to bite the Eel who barely avoids the alligator's bite.

It's tail, on the other hand, hits very hard.

Yon looks on in horror as a second row of teeth appears in the creatures mouth....

The creature bites down hard.

"Gods! That thing is a demon of blood and bone!"

Agriver spins the trident in his hand and stabs at the creatures face as hard as he can.

"DIE!"

Yon's jaws snapped shut on a mouthful of water, while his tail hit solidly. Yet as he failed to break free he feels the eel's grip tighten, and the pain blacks him out. Blood leaking into the water.

His Alligator form soon floats to the bottom of the pool as the Eel must realize the other threats to it's life and, now, food...

Robin sees the action ahead of it, and his brother passing out in pain and blood. "YON!!!!" he yells, as the thrusts one more time! "Damnit, AGRIVER!!! HEAL HIM!!!"

Robin swings frantically and misses... but the Eel dodges right into Agriver's trident, impaling and slaying the Eel.

Agriver produces his healing wand with a snap of his wrist and taps Yon several times.

With a wisp of smoke the wand cracks and shatters into the water in a shower of sparks.

"Easy friend...." he says gently to Robin's brother.

Yon the 'gator floats to the bottom:

Stabilize (CON +2 :: HP -2 {DC 10+2}): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

However his bleeding soon stops, though unnoticeable in the water that is already swirling with Aggriver's, the Eel's, and his own blood.

After healing from Aggy (the ninja?!)
Yon's eyes open. He's not completely sure what time it is, but as he goes to speak he realizes he's under water. He panics, but then remembers his water breathing. He then also realizes his nose is incredibly long right now, and that he's still an Alligator.

He nods to Aggriver, twice, the best he can do to try and communicate his thanks. Then swims around the room looking for anything of interest.

The party finds nothing of relevance in the tank.

Robin dives down, and pulls out Yon's wand, activating it to heal him while pulling him to the surface.

Yon's scars mostly disappear. But several cuts and gashes remain, the eel bit deep.

Seeing his brother not quite to full, Robin sacrifices more charges.

"Dude, we are supposed to lure others to be the sacrifice!"

Once the group recovers its strength and people catch their breath, Agriver will motion for them to follow him to another door.

"Good work Yon, do try not to die next time though."

The paladin gives a nod to his holy symbol as it to give thanks as he readies himself for yet another room.. of god knows what.

"Would anyone mind healing me before I open this? I used up the last of my wand on our gator friend."

Janira pulls her wand and taps Agriver

The party moves back towards the spillway. swimming along, they see an opening ahead but a door on the north wall in front of them.

Glancing at the rest of the party, Agriver nods with a couple bubbles floating about - and his hair floating in the water.. and in his face.

Planting his feet on the lower half of the door frame to brace for a possible vacuum he opens the door with trident in hand.

Robin moves up behind Agriver, trident in hand, hoping that the headstrong paladin doesn't get them into more danger than they can handle. On the other hand, he does also hope that they can find that bastard of an undine, and send him to his doom. 'I wonder if Undine can drown. Don't see why not? Hanspur will be proud of us when we send this ass to him.'

Everyone looks like they are struggling against the water, glad I've got this scaly skin to keep me from catching a water rash or something . yon thinks to himself, I wonder if undine can drown...
