Robin easily grabs the door frame with Agriver while Vala and Janira ride the slower current. after another 15 seconds the water equalizes and the current stops. The entire corridor is submerged.

Agriver looks down the corridor and can see the glimmer of Janira’s wayfinder in the distance. He waves them toward the small gathering at the door near him.
Glancing at what must be Yon, and then to Robin he comments ”Opening the south door, hang onto something in case there is a vacuum.” in a muffled tone due to the environment.
Holding his trident out he speaks aloud ”heanidak xyeaiom” magic weapon 4 minutes duration and watches his goddess evoke a bluish hue over it.
Placing a foot on either side of the door jam to brace himself – the paladin opens the southern door.
Well if the water does pull in, I imagine Vala and Janira will be here shortly.. err quickly

As Agriver opens the door... A narrow platform hugs the wall of this an octagonal room, just above the level of seawater filling the lower section.
The door appears to have a shimmering effect... and is holding back the water as the other side is air. Poking his hand at it... he feels the resistance.

Vala shakes off some water as she pushes her way through this strange water barrier. Seeing the creature attack Agriver Vala draws her weapons. She gives Robin a cursory glance then decides to jump into the water opposite Yon/alligator to attack with flank while simultaneously giving Robin & Janira space to enter.

Vala watches as Yon rips the creature apart with some ferocity, somewhat curious if the alligator form will move to eat the now dead creature.

Janira steps into the room to see the pool of blood. Agriver swims out of the pool after healing Yon, while Robin and Yon notice an underwater tunnel that is gated connecting to the Eastern room.
Agriver walks up to the tunnel and realizes it is not doored. Vala has barely had a chance to drag herself out of the water when a feminine voice is heard. "What do you want?"
