Seeing that he's getting nowhere trying to use a touch spell on Cassidy, the necromancer points his staff in her general direction, and a blast of dark fire issues out!

Cassidy resists, but still takes 6 points of negative energy damage!

Additionally, the fallen half-orc rises, but with some of its flesh hanging unnaturally from its bones!

Seeing his own serious injuries, a room full of bodies, a dwarf he doesn't know is blind, and a human standing over his master with a bloody sword, he raises his hands feebly over his head.

"I surrender..."
