Ok - Quick question for the group.
Elven Blade requires two hands - so options for my bow.
The only options I see is to drop it - which is a free action or put it back of over my shoulder which I believe is considered a standard action.
Just checking to see if anyone else knows a possible option I just don't see.

Yes, normally dropping a weapon to draw another is the best way to save on action demands.
However, when I GM, I house ruled that players who take the Quickdraw Feat the ability to sling/sheath 1 weapon per turn as a free action. It still provokes attacks of opportunities.
If you have a BAB of at least 1 you can draw a weapon as part of a movement I believe.

Yes, Weapon cords are certainly handy, but they don't allow you to switch weapons without first cutting or untying the cord (full round action) binding the first weapon. The main use of the cord is to keep your character from being disarmed or having their weapon moved more than a square away from them if dropped.
There may be some other options in Ultimate Equipment I'm not aware of as that tome is going to take some time to dig through! =)

@ Iron D
Right back at you. Nice descriptions, presentation, interactions and layout! You've really managed to capture the wild and chaotic nature of Golarion goblins who would rather risk harm and death in their tactics as long as they are spontaneous and brutal in their efforts.
I have a feeling this is going to be a very memorable campaign! =)

Oh,goodness. E-Terah cannot WAIT to catch up to that driver. At first she wanted a full refund and an apology and to beat his face in. Oh,but NOW...! If she finds out how much of a craven coward he is to hobble innocent Ppl for bait to allow himself to get away and leaving them to be mutilated and killed by a sadistic little gibbons. I can't wait to see his reaction when she catches up to him and he sees that she not only survived she's looking for him!

all. My apologies for the delay in running Masao. RL slapped me like a giant punting a halfling. I can manage taking over next round.
Wonderful. I had just posted a replacement needed thread in recruitment literally moments before your post. I thought RL had dragged you kicking and screaming into it's tightening embrace for good.
Now, when Masao stops peeing himself with laughter, he can start slicing up goblins.
GM Iron-Dice |
Does Masao get a Will save each round? Or is it a set time that he's in a spot? :)
I'll double check before making the game post tonight, but I believe it's a single will save, then the effect has to wear off over time.
The warchanter will be giddy to 'splain it to ya latter :-)
(waiting on Dairkal to make a full round of actions *cough* )

This spell afflicts the subject with uncontrollable laughter. It collapses into gales of manic laughter, falling prone. The subject can take no actions while laughing, but is not considered helpless. After the spell ends, it can act normally. On the creature's next turn, it may attempt a new saving throw to end the effect. This is a full round action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. If this save is successful, the effect ends. If not, the creature continues laughing for the entire duration.
Such a mean spell!

Whhhhyyyy?! My damage rolls are devastating but my attack rolls ain't Jack! It's all the smoke and the fact the gobs won't hold still! !
Those gobs are hard to hit. What sucks from a warrior perspective is that they are not even trying to evade the attacks. There small size and natural dexterity mean there are just bouncing and jittering about randomly, with the side effect of evading attacks.
Trained combatants must find that very frustrating. Dumb luck with an emphasis on dumb.

I agree that not being able to hit is very frustrating.

Huzzah for the strikers! The dice have decided to change their course!
@ Iron D, I know I've said it before and it is a Paizo map, but the photoshop work is really great! I love that you've left smoke, pools, charred marks and the like on the map to chronicle our battle. Its a nice touch and helps translate over the internet well. Kudos!

My sincere thanks. I have a lot of fun with the maps. Knowing how much the extra effort is appreciated adds to the fun greatly.

Argh! My post for the 2nd will
Save never went through. :( darn iPhone.Dice roller was against me and I rolled a 3 total, so Masao is laughing but not peeing all over due to all peed out... :)
Better than peed on. Although with goblins you can have both. ba-dum-bum-CHING
*roaring laugh track*
Thank you. Thank you. I'll be here all campaign. I have too! ba-dum-bum-CHING

Considering adopting a goblin. To reform it. By treating it like a dog to teach it obedience and restraint. Punctuated by beatings and treats when it tries setting things on fire. Maybe even come to care for it. Although a dwarf has deep seated instinctive hatred of goblinoids.Probably a clingy little runt baby.
And dress it up like a Scraggly/Scrafty.
