Damage if hit: 1d4 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2
But seeing they are winning Mogmurch get's a bit over enthusiastic and ends up missing
GM Ietsuna |
Wellma continues her escape. She runs out of the farm yard and off into the swamp.
As you search through the wedding gifts, Wellma's dropped posessions and Winnius' body you find a halfling-sized corset and bridal veil, a black vest, a bow tie, a child’s doll, 18 cloth diapers, four jars of moonshine, a bottle of perfume (tastes like flowers), a sewing kit, six shiny white buttons, a fine kitchen knife (counts as a masterwork dagger), and two gold rings worth 25 gp each. There is also a little cake left, if you can wrest it away from the piglet.
Where to now?
GM Ietsuna |
You stand outside the farm house. You hear a woman calling to something in a gruff voice and the clicking of tiny claws on the floor.
GM Ietsuna |
Mogmurch sees a small, grubby terrier trotting at the heels of a human woman.
GM Ietsuna |
Sorry, for some reason I didn't get the new posts.
Mogmurch leaps and is part way through the window when Poog gives him a shove and knocks him off course but Mogmurch is now inside.
There is an older woman, a little plump and showing signs for living well. She has a small dog at her heels. She shrieks as Mogmurch comes through the window. Mitzen, come. We have to get out of here.
Check map.

before taking a step to the side and getting the table as cover between himself and the vile creatures he's fighting.
GM Ietsuna |
The smell of burning flesh and chemicals fills the room as the small dog bursts into flames. A small fire also jumps onto the woman, and she is burned slightly before the flame extinguishes itself.

"Poog kill dog!", the goblin screams as he leaps through the window and climbs up the table, waving his dogslicer maniacally.
Not sure, but I think climbing both through the window and up the table is a double move.
Ietsuna |
Lottie swings at Poog with a frypan.
Frypan: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

To hit AC 10: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
but he fails as he almost steps on the burning dog and has to jump back to avoid getting hit toes set on fire.
TheSooperPoog |
Poog leans forwards and sticks his tongue out at the halfling as he slashes at her.
Dogslicer, high ground: 1d20 ⇒ 19, Damage: 1d4 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1
Crit confirm: 1d20 ⇒ 20, Damage: 1d4 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0
Super duper crit for a whopping... 1 damage and 1 NL! Gotta love being a level 0 goblin.
Preg |
Actually..it's even worse; A critical hit means that you roll your damage more than once, with all your usual bonuses, and add the rolls together...so the total is a whopping 1 damage (2d4-4). But yeah..got to love being a level 0 goblin
GM Ietsuna |
Lottie hefts her frypan again, this time at Poog.
Frypan: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
She misses, he is too fast.

"Down doggy! Stay down!"
I assume I can stand in the downed dogs square to provide flanking?
GM Ietsuna |
Yeah, you can stand where doggy corpse is
Chuffy and Mogmurch miss with their swings, but Poog slices the woman.
She swings her frypan at Reta who hurt her the worst.

Club, Flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 + 2 = 23
B: 1d4 ⇒ 2
GM Ietsuna |
Lottie crumples into a heap before your great goblin might. Where to now? You can continue to explore or head back to the village with your loot
Chuffy a la Voodoo |
When they are all done exploring for more loot, Chuffy will take a crack at unlocking the boathouse.
assuming Chuffy's listed +7 disabled device would be with improvised tools-since he started without thieves tools-I am guessing now that he does have a set of tools, his MOD would be +9...adjust if I am mistaken
DC 20 DDV: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
GM Ietsuna |
Makes sense to me Voodoo.
Chuffy opens the door to the boathouse with a deft hand. Scattered around the boathouse are four hammers, three daggers, twelve sacks of millet, a bucket of flammable tar, and six barrels of terrible-quality corn whiskey (that doesn’t taste like corn at all).
