Out of combat!

“Come quickly!” a voice from the shadows calls out. Wedged into one of Skyreach’s darkened doorways is the enigmatic Pathfinder, Osprey. He’s paler than usual, several arrows pierce his skin, and his hands are smeared with blood. “I have little time to speak; however, I must now burden you with a suspicion that is now a reality.” Lowering his voice to a soft hiss he whispers, “The Shadow Lodge is real.”

Shadow Lodge Background:
Remember that this the season 2 special and we are now almost at the end of season 7

THE SHADOW LODGE
While the Decemvirate continues to deny the existence of the Shadow Lodge, its agents—mostly former or current Pathfinders who see the Society’s plodding methods of artifact control to be outdated and naïve—are building their own lodges in locations all across Golarion.

Though their numbers are still small and scattered across the Inner Sea region, they possess an organizational ability that rivals that of their parent.

While the Decemvirate and the Society’s myriad venture captains struggle to get to the bottom of the Shadow Lodge’s very existence, these former Pathfinders now have lodges numbering in the dozens and are actively recruiting from within the Pathfinder Society’s ranks.

It is not a matter of good and evil. It is rather a question of methods and goals, limits and horizons. One cannot tell a member of the Shadow Lodge simply by appearance. Even personality and past deeds are unreliable measures, as the Shadow Lodge counts among its ranks some of the most storied and trusted agents in the Society. Anyone could be a member. The Shadow Lodge is ambitious, to be sure, but its members are not careless, so they build slowly, methodically, and—so far—quietly, beneath the radar of the Society at large

He hands you a small token, depicting a whip. "“Please, take this. It may help you defeat Charvion.”

The huge dragon is an imposing site, and has brought the small army to a bit of a standstill, some start trying to work out a way around – seeing a chance to make a break for the single door and hopefully passing through it to the safety of the mausoleum.

This is the vanguard leading an assault on the dragon, each one of them heroes towards the twilight of their careers – leading what may be their final charge into glory. Should they fall this day their names will live on in song – and forever be engraved on the Wall of Names.

A small number of other journeymen Pathfinder seem equally set on following up on the charge with their steel also at the ready.

While some valiant pathfinders have been fighting the dragon you have chosen to try to sneak by. Not all of you succeeded, the dragon was suddenly looking at Dreggar and Nella. Moments later it joined the combat against the more experienced pathfinders again. Did your noise distract it enough to expose it to the attacks of the other pathfinders? That might be something to discuss later with a good ale.

You enter the Mausoleum, the first rooms contain large, steel surgical tables. Their perimeters are lined with additional work areas whose tables are covered with texts, surgical instruments and tools, alembics, scales, abacuses, and similar devices used in alchemical and biological tests. The rooms also hold barrels of wash water, along with bottles of various fluids and salts used in sterilization and embalming. The center of the floor contains a drain for run off, as well as a few waste buckets.

The next cavernous hallway is contains a number of elaborate skeletal displays. The reassembled creations consist of both accurate assemblies and imaginative creation built from the bones of multiple specimens. Several large, glass cylinders contain colonies of dermestid beetles for cleaning bones. Several have actively decaying specimens. Arches along the side lead to small workstations. Near the back sits another, larger work area filled with kilns, a hearth, and some large iron vats. In the middle of the floor, six corpses lie piled together is a pool of blood.

When you enter the room two goblins smash one of the beetle tanks, spillin beatles and grease over the floor.

Turning to watch the fight between the dragon Lynn again felt her heart freeze in fear, "Perhaps we could just wait it out... no no we must keep moving. Lynn was about to join the rest of the group in sneaking past when the other adventurers drove the creature off.

Lynn moved north of the group pulling her rapier free as she moved past the insects turning back just long enough for her eyes to flash and four torch-like fires to spring up in front of her party hopefully deterring the ravenous swarm.

"Stay away from them you damn bugs!"

Using Dancing lights to create four torch lights in the Tetris style reverse L space that separates the others from the bugs. The crudely drawn light blue shape lol.

My hp are correct, also shouldn't we get an extra point of damage from the alchemist's fire since it is an area effect weapon.

Lara takes a steadying breath after her last hasty shot. Pulling the bowstring back to her left ear, she releases the nocked arrow and sends it flying toward the remaining goblin. "Right idea; better aim next time!" she calls out to Nella as the flask shatters off-target.

Continues performance 2/9 left. Also not sure if Lara added that into her attack stats as Im pretty sure they stack.

"Right!" Nella nods at Lara as she digs out her second and final flask. "Come on...steady..." she whispers to herself as she takes aim and then lobs the flask at the swarm.

Dreggar: The swarm got 3 damage since the alchemist's fire splashed, doing minimal damage. That is 1. I added 1 for inspire courage and multiplied that 2 by 1.5, which happens to be the same as the damage roll.

Lara shoots the goblin. It falls backward and stops moving. Dreggar also falls down, but he still moves. He feels poison entering his system, but manages to resist.

Nella's shot is true this time. A lot of beetles are burned, but there are still plenty of beetles left! They continue biting the prone dwarf in their midst..

Anna works on the goblins, unable to do much to the bugs.

No fire or acid here unless i can use a torch

Lynn moved her dancing flames to the areas that the alchemist's fire had splashed, once again to trick the swarm that it should avoid the dangerous flames and drive it away from her party members. Meanwhile she looked around the room for something to help them with this pest problem.
