Mοgmurch |
Mogmurch nods solemnly, struggles to his feet, and brushes himself off. Which, given his muddy hands, leaves him worse than he started.

“Yes, avoid piggies. We go there!” Reta declares, pointing toward a part of the fence that seems composed mostly of the hull of a longshanks’ boat. “Sneekeeeee…”
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
GM Baerlie |
You sneak closer to the fence and the upturned boat. The boat’s stern has been built into the fence, and a large hole has been smashed in the southern side to provide entrance to the dark hollow created by the hull. Reta smells two pigs.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Gob-gob |
Gesturing to the others, Reta pushes her nose up to more resemble a snout, then holds up a group of fingers and points to the boat.
I’ve got Darkvision; do I see anything in there?
Drawing the rest of the group away from the boat, she examines the fence line at the river.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Mοgmurch |
"Now no be nose-picking time!" Mogmurch hisses at Reta in annoyance, oblivious to her meaning.

Poog the Overconfident |
A second Poog sneaks up to your old Poog while you aren't looking, slits his throat and drags him into the bushes. The new Poog then walks up to you and acts like nothing's happened.
"It always nose picking time!" Poog yells at Mogmurch, and shows his fellow goblin the massive booger that he just produced.
I assure you I wrote my discussion post before even reading about nose picking here! XD
I'll by the way download the appropriate Poog for this level when I have time tomorrow, so I can update the stats below my name! ;)
Mοgmurch |
So much for that 38 Stealth roll, Chuffy! Darned pod people...
Mogmurch slaps Poog upside the head. "SHHH! Be vewwwwy quiet! We hunting pigsies!"
Gob-gob |
Can I assume that there was no alternate method of entry near the river North of me?
“Spread outs – we kill piggies!” Reta declares, stepping quietly away.
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Mοgmurch |
Mogmurch nods. "You be big chief now, so okies!" He moves off to the side.
Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 Wow... looks like Moggy stubbed a toe and yelped!
GM Baerlie |
I just went through the old posts and I think I made a mistake, the first of Poog's fire bolts was supposed to hit against touch AC with a 17. I think I accidently compared it to the normal AC which was 20. Piggy did not have fire resistance, it just had a meal of pumpkin and chili but was otherwise a normal boar with leather armor.
The only alternate entry to the area is at #1 to the south. But you can always attempt to climb the fence ;) And the funny thing is: 13 is still enough to be stealthy.
You approach the boat with the gap and although Mogmurch hits a rock with his toe the pigs remain sleeping in the straw.
You remember one of the pigs in the boat hut. The one with lesser hair looks like Squealy Nord!

Still rubbing his throbbing toe, Mogmurch peers sneakily through the gap. "Heyyyy," he hisses, poking Reta wildly. "Hey! Lookie look! Remember Squealy Nord? That pigsie look like Squealy Nord!" He jabs a finger excitedly in the pig's direction as Chuffy sneaks forward to stabbity-stab.
Poog the Overconfident |

"That no Squealy Nord! It imposteletortor!"
Poog seems to hesitate though, and figures he should ask.
"Let me talk pig! It tell us!"
Poog uses speak with animals on himself and walks up to the could-be Squealy Nord.
"Oinky oink oink! Oinky Squealy Nord?!" he yells in the pig's ear.
Chuffee |
hearing the talk of one of the pigs being Squealy Nord, Chuffy would direct his attack on the OTHER pig if that's okay
Mοgmurch |
"Whoa, me be right? You no worry, Squealy! We rescue you!" Mogmurch shouts at the former greased pig as he launches a swing at the other porker...

This is theater of the mind, right? No map for this melee?
Gob-gob |
Seeing Chuffy’s swing go wide, Reta throws up a hand in a halting gesture, and calls to Poog. “Tell both piggies we sets them free. Just no bite at us.”
GM Baerlie |
Princess Crackling is not very happy that somebody disturbed her beauty sleep and is about to set her shelter aflame. She answers "Oinksy-chrz. Boinksy-chroinz."
"Go away or Munchmeat will eat you. I must not let anybody pass. And forget about this lazy, bold pig over there."
Pig diplomacy?
Chuffee |
Chuffy wants to put an end to the pig... mmmm bacon...so he backs out of the pig enclosure and puts some spider venom on a crossbow bolt... readies to fire it next chance he gets.
Not too sure how poison use works in pathfinder, but I assume it will take at least a move if not a standard to apply it
Gob-gob |
One dose of poison smeared on a weapon or some other object affects just a single target. A poisoned weapon or object retains its poison until the weapon scores a hit or the object is touched (unless the poison is wiped off before a target comes in contact with it).
Applying poison to a weapon or single piece of ammunition is a standard action. Whenever you apply or ready a poison for use, there is a 5% chance that you expose yourself to the poison and must save against the poison as normal. This does not consume the dose of poison. Whenever you attack with a poisoned weapon, if the attack roll results in a natural 1, you expose yourself to the poison. This consumes the poison on the weapon.
GM Baerlie |
Poog fires a bolt at the hairy pig while Squealy Nord hides somewhere in the corner. Chuffy dips some of his crossbow bolts into a vial of poison.
The crazy pig, badly hurt, tries to attack Poog sho just hit it with a fire bolt.

"Haha! YES! Me kill stupid pig not even with bomb just club! Mogmurch be plenty-great warrior!" he says, taunting Reta.
"Good good! Chop up, bite-sized chunks for cooking! We gets lunch soon!"
Mogmurch laughs when Squealy's face-licks tickle him, and he slaps the porcine fondly on the side. "You okay pig even if hard to catch when slickety! We no eat you just stupid angry pigs, okay?"
I daresay Moggy's already made plenty enough noise that Squealy's racket won't matter much!
