Not sure if I can crit on an object, and if so if that would add another 4,or another 7?

Wood HP is 10/in of thickness, so 15 if it's a 1-1/2" "2x4" floor. When my bomb reduces the hp to less than half, it blows open a 5' hole... Which might be This round if it is 1-1/2" and my previous bomb thrown at the floor was on the same square, or if I get any crit damage this round.


Having just re-done my floors recently, I can't imagine the floor being as thick as 2x4's (1.5" thick) I'd tend to think the floor would be closer to 1" thick instead. [10hp]

Their's also the chance that the building isn't in the best of condition. Considering the age of Old Korvosa and the run down nature of Rakers Alley, it could very well be weak wood.

Unfortunately the floors here are in decent shape, and while the bore bomb takes a good chuck out of it, the floor remains a floor.

You also get no indication about the effectiveness of the attack on the mist.

S3) The mist continues its movement through the cracks and into its original coffin below where it materializes again, unconscious.

S2 and S4 materialize and move to defensive positions within the crawlspace, their bodies mending just a bit more.

S1 issues a new command to Ralof. ~ "Kill anyone who enters our lair!"

I'm not sure this command is entirely against Ralof's nature as it's currently stated. He is highly unpredictable in this regard. However, once he sees that one of his friends enters the crawlspace it would certainly be against his nature.

If you disagree with the first premise, I wont object, and you can roll the will save immediately. (DC14 Will) with a bonus +2 for the command being against his nature. Otherwise, the will save should wait until it one of you enter.

As discussed, Dylan needs to drop his sword to accomplish binding Ammendithas. He drops his sword, draws the manacles as part of his movement, and locks Ammy's hands behind his back.

Correcting my mistake via Hangouts.. It's not actually 1d4.

Any unarmed strike (kicks, punches, head-butts, or bites are 1d3. And are considered light weapons, so the damage is at 50% Str score..

So correcting the above damage, it would result in 1d3+2+1. So the damage in this case would be 4 non-lethal damage.

I also forgot that you are still entangled from the glue, so your attack roll should have a -2.... so its a 22 not 24

Sorry for the confusion... What can I say, I've never seen an entangled/manacled/dominated half-orc try to bite someone before :)

*Edit - Please note there are actual natural bite attack rules that do use 1d4. However, you don't posses a natural bite attack..

I'm allowing this "bite" as a 1d3 under the unarmed strike rules however, because the imagery behind it is hilarious.

Thanks to the shield of faith the bite misses. Dylan yells in response " stupid Orc" and with that Dylan jumps into the hole brandishing his holy symbol and channel positive energy at the spawn.

Dylan upon entering the space, makes the creatures pay via a Channel energy.

Zeke has an action yet this round, and then it's back to a now clear headed Ralof. (I'll release the summary after I see Zeke's turn)

Round 7 Summary

Ralof keeps readied to attack anyone to enter the space

Amendithas tries to take a bite out of Dylan but misses

Dylan Jumps in, causing the creatures to release actions, but they miss and receive a healthy Channel Positive Energy as a result. Ralof also shakes off the dominate effect when seeing a friend enter the space.

Zeke bravely jumps in, with the creatures taking a few swipes at him, but he avoids damage. He lobs a bomb for some nice damage.

Round 7 over Round 8 Begins

Ralof does some nice damage 12 total after Damage Reduction, but the creature (S1) is still up.

Dylan begs him to see reason and channels energy at the creatures, causing two of them to burst into mist form.

It appears that I don't actually have to 'undo' a real character level, right? I just take all the penalties as described? -1 on all checks, and -5 total and current HP.

Top of Rnd 9

Ralof makes another full round attack, this time on S4.

Pursuit Map

OK, if there is going to be running involved, we need a bigger map. Just by an eyeball estimate, I'm going to say you have about 16 rounds before you get to the GUARENTEED safety of the bridge, where there is a known contingent of guards on hand to help subdue Zeke.

Since you cannot run and attack in the same round, there needs to be a bit of math as to when Zeke can attack.

Dylan runs @ 80 ft.. Zeke runs @ 150 ft.

About every other round Zeke can stop running and do a single move coupled with an attack (Bomb, Bolt... ect).

OR he could forgo the single move and do a double move charge to get a single melee attack each round..

That would be 8 ranged opportunities (or 16 via melee).

Each round there will be an increasing odds that guards nearby hear and run to help.

Since Dylan already made the call I'll start it off High is always good for the players when I roll %. Starting it off at 10%
