Ulark and Belir are able to avoid the worst of the smoke, as they enter. Seeing Agrit in one room, trying to free Sara from a burning timber, but also seeing three orcs tearing apart another room.

Thuradin arrives just as Ulakr and Belir enter the burning house "Sorry I took so long but I had the devil of a time trying to find you amidst all this chaos". Taking stock of the situation he looks around for a solution. Seeing the well in the square he forms a plan "There's a well over there. Someone see if it has buckets. If it does three of us can form a daisy chain and ferry the water over to here, it'll at least buy us some time."
Tearing a piece of cloth from his cloak Thuradin covers his nose and mouth with it before going in. Once inside he sees his two companions and the orcs in the other room "Forget about them for now. Our priority is to rescue Ms. Morninghawk. We can deal with the raiders if they get in our way."

"I don't think we can get to her without the orcs getting in our way, I say we trash them now while they are unaware!" Thozar calls out, doing his best to keep the smoke out of his lungs. Eyes watering, he steps into the building. This half-orc better not have been a spy!

The orcs are definitely hostile, but the smoke also provides concealment. I am goign to have Kragmyr delay, unless someone wants to bot him.

Thozar slams an acid dart into the red one. If it wasn't for the sheer ferocity of the orc, it would have fallen.

Being staggered, it only throws a javelin back at Thozar.

Meanwhile, his buddies move forward and swing at Balir. Both attacks are spot on, but blocked by Belir's heavy armor.

Hearing the battle cries of the orcs, Kragmyr opens his book. Smoke bellows out of the house, and knowing that if he went in he would have to hold his breath, he instead starts chanting. The grudges against the orcs were long and varied, and were enough to fill several tomes. As he chanted, his voice took on a deeper resonance. It was obvious that the grudges were more than just words, but there was magical power seeped into them. It was his hope that this would help fill his comrades hearts' as they ventured into the flames.

Move action to get as close as is safe. Standard action to start inspired rage. +2 Str, +2 Con, +1 Will, -1 AC for all who accept it. Given the DC15 +1 per check fort saves...this will at least give a +1 bonus

An excellent strike! That will teach them to raid our town! With the other more capable melee characters filing in, Thozar heads out of the house and begins to do his best to keep the flames at bay, hopefully buying his allies valuable time!

Belir feelsthe ring of the blow against his armor but can't manage a word as he holds his breath. Rapping his axe blade against his armor he points to the orcs as he points to the other dwarves with his shield and swing it around to those trapped by the burning building as if trying to say that he will hold the orcs off while the others get the wounded to safety.

Belir will accept the inspired rage making his AC 21, but his HP 23.

@Kragmyr - that can be your round 2 action, so you can still act for round 3 if you like.

The water dousing flames looks to be a losing battle, but it seems to be buying a few more seconds, which may turn out to be critical. Meanwhile Agrit screams "Hurry, I think she is dying!"

Belir lodges an axe deep into an orcs midsection, spilling guts, but the orc still fights on. Thuradin does the same.

All three orcs are now below 0 hp and staggered. To help Sara, you will need to stabilize her, and stop the fallen beam from continuing to burn her. Agrit is trying, but needs at least another person using a full round action to keep Sara from taking more damage. She is looking pretty bad. It will take 3 total people (including Agrit) usign full round actions for 2 rounds to allow someone to be able to pull Sara out on round 3.

Kragmyr goes into the building, only while changing from his Book of Grudges. While usually a good idea to use the skaldic powers of his clan, shouting in a building filled with smoke isn't. He nearly immedieately begins choking on the smoke.

Holding his breath and seeing Sara pinned beneath a flaming spar, Ulark trudges forwards. Heedless of the orc he ducks past, the warrior's eyes blink through the smoke as he move next to Agrit and tries to begin lifting the timber, so Sara is at least not harmed further. He gives Agrit a knowing nod as he strains, but does not dare open his mouth to risk barking instructions.

Move to Sara, standard to start lifting the beam. Have your AoO Yellow!

Seeing that Thozar is calling down rain using his connection to nature, Torith decides to run back over and help to save the trapped people.

"I'm coming in to help!" he shouts as he takes a deep breath and rushes through the door to assist. Holding his breath.

As Torith was over near the well i think he would only just be inside the burning building now.

Sputtering and coughing, Kragmyr falls out of the house. Pulling himself together he keeps the book open and begins chanting out the Saga of Duran Redmane. During the fall of Krag's Keep, Duran was a humble smith who worked the forge. When the Orcs of the Arrow Knee Tribe took the fortress, Duran made a stand within the workshops of the doomed citadel. Even as fires raged, causing an inferno which killed orc and dwarf alike, he refused to back down. Holding a vital choke point, his sacrifice allowed several of his fellow smiths to escape, and caused a regiment of orc warriors to perish in the flames with him. His father, Egil, who survived the fall of the fortress, was driven to grief by the loss of his son and his own flight. For a day and a night within the refugee camp that he was in, he worked feverishly at an ad-hoc forge, making a crude axe which glowed with the hatred and bitterness in his heart. When it was done he vanished into his tent, refusing food, water, or entrance to any who asked. When his friends and kinsmen finally cut their way in they found that he was gone, and all that was left was a hastily scrawled saga made in honor of his lost son.

As he chants this, the magical powers of his clans infuse the words with magic, so as to support his kinsmen as they battle within the flames.

Belir, inspired by Kragmyr's words, cuts the yellow orc in half, ending its life.

Ulark and Agrit hold the beam off Sara enough to prvent her from taking more damage from it, but she is clearly bleeding out, and they can't manage to free her without more help.

Thuradin attempts to finish off the orc attacking him but he inhales some of the smoke and all he can do is cough, trying to clear his lungs.

Just as well Gundar was standing guard!

Bloody useless, Forgelight, Gundar chastises himself, but a calmer, wiser part of him speaks up directly after. Peace, lad. You can't shove every soldier into every battle. Stand your guard, protect the flank.

Still, he shouts out, "Holler if you need more help in there!" to his fellows, while keeping his eyes to the fore.

Still enraged by Kargmyr's tale, Torith continues to hold his breath and keeps dragging Sara towards the worried sounding voice of Thozar outside.

Belir removes the head of the red orc, sending it flying across the room.

Torith and Ulark continue to help Agrit lift the beam, but they still haven't been able to get Sara out from under it. One more full round to lift, and then another person is going to need to come drag her out.

Gundar keeps his sarcasm locked inside his own head. Deciding to be content that there will be no orcs assaulting their tail, he turns to the house and moves to the doorway. Having nothing with which to make a mask to keep the smoke out, Gundar draws in a mighty breath outside the smoke-filled area.

Seeing the orcs, he wonders if he can get a clear shot, then decides that the smoke and the melee make that impossible.

Feeling incrediably useless, Kragmyr marches back up to the house, chanting the saga as he does so. He puts everything he has into the tale, letting his skaldic magic enfuse the tale. As he chants ghostly sounds begin, as the steady beat of dwarven drums begins beating with the tale.

Continue rage song. Cast ghost sound to accompany it. The building is too crowded and I think adding Fort saves is the best help I can provide

Just to speed this up a bit...

Thuradin recovers, allowing him to pull Sara free. Thanks to the create water spells, the fire is held at bay long enough for the rest of you escape the building. The blue orc also recovers, and comes out very soon after, but he is on borrowed time anyway and runs off to die alone.

Sara is in very bad shape, but you are able to get her across the barricade and to the aid station just in the nick of time. She will be a long time recovering, but she is stable for now.

As a reward for their rescue, Agrit gives you a gold necklace set with beautiful white agates and moonstones. "This necklace may help you. This pearl in the center is very special."

A pearl of power (1st level) forms the centerpiece of the necklace. Total worth: 1500gp

Gundar arrives into the smoke-filled interior just in time to barrel back out again in order to get out of his companions way, as they drag Sara free. He takes up a watchful position on the lower town again as they return Sara to the barricades.

"We'll treasure it well." Ulark says, breathing deeply as he looks out across the still burning and chaotic square. "Now keep low and get her well. Trunau'll be needing some new axes and swords after this night."

Taken aback by Torith and Thozar's remarks, the warrior pauses for a bit. Command is not familiar to him, not of a group. "Well, from the looks of those lights there'll be orcs aplenty ahead. I say we stick to the north side of the square. If the beasts were willing to ransack a collapsing home, good chance there's more in the few less touched. Besides, those houses may have more like Sara, and the folk in the tower could see something we can't."

Belir bends down to make sure Sara is alright. Though he may have disagreed with her in the past she was still a member of this town and doesn't deserve to die by the hands of some orc.
