Sheela Kolphan |
I'm fine with Gavith Lor showing up for part 2 (hopefully p1 is done soon, I think Kusunoki's about to bisect this cleric.) A frontliner is useful for this party makeup, as well.
Alaneo White-whiskers |
Indeed, a frontliner would be much appreciated :)
Davith Lor |
My new character number will be 18858-4, also named Davith Lor. Turns out I had somehow skipped over -3 and gave out the wrong character number, so... the dead Davith will go in that slot, as I had earlier explained, and a rebuilt more frontliney Davith will go in the -4 spot.
ETA: Rebuild complete. Feel free to look the sheet over and let me know if there's anything amiss.
Kusunoki Masashige |
Sorry for the delays in posting. The Illinois Bar is coming up on Tuesday and I have been studying my ass off. My posting will be spotty up until after the Bar as a warning.
GM Fuzzfoot |
Good luck, Masa! We will just bot you if needed, and feel free to jump in when you are clear.
Sheela Kolphan |
My Ranger hit level 7, but she's in the Emerald Spire so that's kind of turbo mode.
My Magus is level 4 and finally got level 2 spells. Bull's Strength let's go!

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
I am going to be travelling for the next 10 days. I will try to post occasionally through that time, but absences of 2-3 days are expected.
Bernard Nimblefeet |
Have a nice trip! =)
Kusunoki Masashige |
Sorry about that. I am travelling at the moment and fully expected to be able to post over the last few days, but my luggage with the laptop and phone chargers got lost. I'm back now, though!
Alaneo White-whiskers |
Just a heads up to say that I'll be in vacation from tomorrow till sunday evening. Please GMPC Alaneo as needed (ice blasts). :)

Ok, Pierre! =)
GM Fuzzfoot |
No problem, I am basically going to be on the road again for the next 2-3 days, so we will be pretty slow until Monday.

Thanks, Rimble! ;-)
Alaneo White-whiskers |
Oh god! I just realized I said to each game that I was away till sunday while I meant friday! So sorry! I'm back.
Sheela Kolphan |
Hmm, you can chop up a full-round action into two standard actions (using the Start/Complete Full-Round Action option), but this spell is 1 entire round A(not a full round), and there doesn't seem to be a rule about it.
I also considered refocusing so my initiative is 20+the usual and just cast in round 1, but...maybe I'm confusing 3.5 with Pathfinder, because I can't find that option anywhere.
I'll just delay until round 1 and then start casting, unless my initiative sucks or something.
GM Fuzzfoot |
I am going to be scarce for the next 3 days. I might check in from mobile, but my posts will be few and far between until Monday. Thank you for your patience!
GM Fuzzfoot |
Sorry, folks! I did chronicles yesterday and forgot to post! So, here they are!
Let me know if you need anything changed, and take a few days to update your characters while I go recruit a 6th character.
Alaneo White-whiskers |
No changes for me! :) I'll be ready when you are.
Sheela Kolphan |
Sheela is upgrading her light crossbow to a masterwork, and is spending her 2 PP on a wand of Mage Armor.
Ready for part 3!
Bernard Nimblefeet |
I have to update Bernard's sheet. He is now level 3. :)
Bernard Nimblefeet |
The session of part II isn't appearing on Bernard's sessions list...

The session of part II isn't appearing on Bernard's sessions list...
Ditto. Except Sheela. I assume it hasn't been reported yet.
Alaneo White-whiskers |
Same here. Indeed, I guess it hasn't been reported yet :)
GM Fuzzfoot |
Sorry - yes, haven't reported it yet. Was having trouble deciding where to apply my GM credit...
Meanwhile, I have 3 volunteers for filling in the ranks for part 3. I can't take more than 2, so I will have to decide. One of them has a character that already has done part 1 & 2, so I feel like I should probably let him jump in since it's a chance to complete the series. But his is also a level 4, and a bolt ace to boot! So not sure we want to upstage Bernard...
Also, I am not entirely sure what Tier we would be playing. At present, APL = 1.8, but in this season, 6-7 players adds 1, making it Tier 3-4. With Bernard's level up to 3, that seems to remove the choice. But if we don't add a level 4 player, I don't like your odds much...
The only way I see you staying at Tier 1-2 is to leave it at 5 players. Ig you go Tier 3-4, I suggest we take 2 of the 3 volunteers. (I think I have played with all 3 before, and they should be fine additions).
Thoughts?
Sheela Kolphan |
What are the party levels so far? 1 1 1 2 3?
Hmm, that's going to be a tough level spread if we take 2 more people. The level 1s and 2s will be out of tier, as well. My abilities are kind of limited at level 1, although I could apply GM credit for my latest scenario to bump her to 2.
(I haven't applied any of my GM credit to any of my characters so far- I really should look into that.)
If you don't mind playing 2 tables, Bernard could join the 3 volunteers and make a Tier 3-4 table. I recently had this problem where too many people applied for my Dalsine Affair table and I had to split it into a T1-2 and T3-4 table. But then the volunteers missed out on parts 1 and 2...
GM Fuzzfoot |
I had 1, 1, 2, 2, 3 - but some of you are hard to tell...
I am not opposed to 2 tables, actually, but we could have just kept on with 5 too. But that was mostly my concern for the lower level chars to survive Tier 3-4. So if everyone by SirPeter is Tier 1-2, and Bernard gets 3 new level 3-4 Pathfinders, I could do that.
I'll give it another day to let everyone voice their thoughts...
Kusunoki Masashige |
Masa is at 1.2, so he is still 1. I would prefer to stay at Subtier 1-2, but will follow cautiously in Subtier 2-4 if need be.
Bernard Nimblefeet |
Particularly, I would rather keep in this group (I like you, buddies! S2). However, I see no problem in split into two tables - preferably without two bolt aces in the same.
Alaneo White-whiskers |
Well, I'd like to play in tier 1-2, if that's possible.
Sheela Kolphan |
I will be applying GM credit to Sheela to get her to level 2. I'll officially have the credit within 1-2 days, but I'll update her sheet today.
Bernard Nimblefeet |
If you don't mind, I prefer to stay in 5, this mean that we will continue in tier 1-2.
GM Fuzzfoot |
OK - we will stay at the original 5, then, and therefore Tier 1-2.
I just got a 4th volunteer for the advertised spot, so I will offer to run them through it in parallel. (So if anything seems too tough, maybe nudge me to make sure I didn't confuse tiers on you!)
Part 2 session has now been reported.
New game will begin in thread >>here! <<
Alaneo White-whiskers |
To all my games: I'm struggling to have some wifi from Tuesday. I don't know when it'll be stable. If my character is blocking the game, please bot him or place him in delay. Sorry for that!
GM Fuzzfoot |
No problem - thanks for letting me know. I am actually having the same problem this week! It is quite frustrating...
GM Fuzzfoot |
Yes, of course!
Glorious Agent,
Once proud artisans, the traitorous Ismacco family has fallen far. Now nothing more than slaves to the nefarious Teppish family, their stain is still infamous throughout Cassomir. Rumors persist, that the Ismacco family built secret compartments into many of their great works. Should this be true, I’d like to know how these secret compartments work. While you’re in Cassomir, do your best to find one of these rumored compartments and bring me its locking mechanism.
I am chagrined to admit that those rumors of derros prowling Cassomir’s Locker seem to have merit, though I struggle to convince the Cassomir authorities of their validity. If you find any physical evidence that the derros are using the tunnels beneath glorious Cassomir to kidnap its citizens, bring it to me immediately so I can convince the Grand Prince to take action.
For Taldor!
Baron Jacquo Dalsine
Bernard Nimblefeet |
I made an overview of clues that I could identify up to now:
A legend among engineers tells of a series of hidden clues within three Cassomir monuments. These clues yield three locations which, when triangulated, give the location of the surface entrance to the Crypt of Fools; they also show the combination required to unlock the entrance.
Look for old buildings built by the Ismacco family, whom we’ve long suspected used the Crypt of Fools as the base of their heinous operations after it fell from use.”
X=X=X=X=X
The Ismacco family built the Imperial Hall of Records, the Admiralty Citadel, and the Harbor Watch; laid the stone that makes up the square around Pharasma’s Pulpit; built retaining walls to shore up some of the ruins at Quickfall Abbey. Oh, you should see them - they are beautiful works of art!”
Maybe this can help us, because I'm a bit lost. :x
GM Fuzzfoot |
Yes, Bernard has made a good summary of some of your clues. But there were other clues in the prison, if you look at what was created.
Perhaps, the artist would be willing to sell his paintings. He seemed to have some specific inspiration.
