@Noya: or you could just say that it was unintentional, apologize and move on. Previous behavior (none of which was done maliciously) makes it easy for others to jump to conclusions. At best it appears you are trying to justify calling 'dibs' on a magical item that we wont see in game for another year, if we're lucky, so let's all just move on.

@All: Moving on!

@Rhesus: Super awesome!!

@All: Someone should really track loot in real time on a google doc or something.

@Spasi: I forgot to mention in game, but you can sell your clockwork servant for 5,000gp

Rhesus would only take the lenses if somebody explained the advantages to him.

Also I'm going to have Clem handle my money in game, that way he can subtract money for the scrolls he uses on Rhesus. There's no way Rhesus would think to pay his friend for helping him.

Noya needs new armour, due to the Ooze's acid.
So she might take the Leather Armour, get her current armour repaired, or get new armour.

The +1 cold iron ranseur, is a Ok reach weapon, and the first magic weapon we have found, should we keep it or sell it?
recall it also has historical value as well.

The mw aklys is an exotic light weapon, so I think is should be sold.

@Bibic

We have to sell the ranseur.

From post 1 of recruitment.

GM could convert the ranseur to something like a Halberd,
then we have the choice of keeping or selling it, since it now is a non-reach polearm.

the weapon keeps it's theme, but now is a non-reach member of the theme.

Rhesus is up to 3997 GP. He'd look to have his Earthbreaker turned into a +1 weapon for 2k. The other 2k will depend on how much Clem takes for scrolls, minus 150 for another wand of CLW.

Male Elf AC26/T19/FF20 / F +12 R +19 W +13 / Init. +6 / Perc. +28 / Sense Motive +27

Thanks for the breakdown Spasi!

I've got 4,413gp available.

2kgp to make my bow +1 and 1,800gp to get an efficient quiver at last.

Also, 2 quivers of cold iron arrows (40), 1 quiver of Adamantine blanched cold iron arrows (20), and 1 quiver of silver, blunts. (20) for another 248gp.

While I'm at it, I pick up the following minor scrolls.
Scroll Comprehend Languages (1)(25gp)
Scroll Identify (1)(25gp)
Scroll Remove Fear (1)(25gp)
Scroll Vanish (1)(25gp)

Oh, and wand of CLW (150gp) which Clement should carry I think.

Total spent, 4,498gp leaving me enough left over for a fine meal and a few drinks for my comrades. Bibic's buying at the pub!

My gear has a total value of: 14,472gp (includes expendables spent to date, does not include the shard whose value I cannot measure.) and I have 115gp left over (before drinks).

Though I'd wait on the +1 cold iron ranseur being in the list as I asked about the GM converting it to a Halberd at which point Noya would not mind taking it as her sword also got damaged with the ooze.

You also forgot that the +1 cold iron ranseur is a item with history and a part of a statue of a Runelord so it could be sold to the right person and would yield more cash than you have listed.

Any reach weapon can be kept and used, it just doesn't have the 'reach' ability.

As for the historical value, Spasi(appraise): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24, you can sell it for an extra 50% of its value.

Damn. That throws off my purchasing something fierce.

If I take the Golembane Scarab, can I get a loan for a couple hundred gold - or whatever we're losing?

I'm also fine going even deeper into debt to help pay for the wand of endure elements. So Spasi, I owe you 150gp so far. How much do we lose, each, to the ranseur?

@Bibic
Noya will loan the gold to you if it is needed.

And I think this route saves us some money in that we use what we have and not sell at half, then buy at full price.
(Sell for 2K, buy for 4K, 2K lost into the hole)

And when a better weapon comes along we keep it and cycle the weapons,
though this will not work if someone specializes in a weapon.

Male Elf AC26/T19/FF20 / F +12 R +19 W +13 / Init. +6 / Perc. +28 / Sense Motive +27

I don't know if it helps, but I've got the Mending spell. Might be enough to bring the gear up to snuff. I dunno. GM Fanguar is there anything special about the damage?

|| AC 23/T16/FF21 | HP 198/198 | F +18 R +10 W +9 | Init +2 | Perception +17 | Sense Motive +0 Human (Shoanti) Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager, Urban Barbarian) 15

As a note Rhesus has a constant Endure Elements for hot environments so won't need a wand charge.

Also I have Improved Sunder so we'll need an easy way to repair weapons. :D

Male Elf AC26/T19/FF20 / F +12 R +19 W +13 / Init. +6 / Perc. +28 / Sense Motive +27

Rhesus, I think the mending spell can repair most injuries especially if you stop when they get the broken condition and don't go all the way to destroyed (0hp).

I can even repair magical weapons/armor/etc. if it's not too powerful (depends on caster level and suchlike).

Mending would work just fine. Nothing special about the damage.

You guys seems to have the loot distribution under control, but I do have a suggestion that you can feel free to completely ignore if you want.

In the WotR campaign the I am playing in, we are doing a communal party bank style loot system. Basically all treasure is considered common party property and individuals borrow items and money from the hoard. The proceeds from any sales go back into the party's 'bank'. We find that it helps to alleviate some of the headaches that can arise from trying to maintain fair loot distribution. (and situations like Bibic having to borrow money from several people) Anyways, do what you want, but that was just a thought.

If anyone has crafting feats, there is plenty of time for crafting, since there is no real time pressure to move to the next location.

AC 29 T 15 FF 29 CMD 30 | HP 195 | F +14* R +9 W +15 | Init. +0 | Perc +20 Sense +10

I'd be okay trying the WotR communal system.

Clem has no pressing purchases at the moment, so it's fine if it's in a big party pool and folks want to draw down from that balance at the moment.

Otherwise, he'd likely spring for the headband or belt for his next purchase, which can wait another level.

The Ioun Stone we just got gives +2CHA,

So who will use it?

So far Noya and Clement can use it to to power our class features and spells.

As the +2 Cha would bump the saving throw of Clem's spells I'd say it should go to Clem. Noya is a front line fighter with a Str of 12, the next Strength item should go to her.

True, though mechanistically, Spasi should be using the shard of pride, since the ioun stone provide +2 INT.

That's true but we didn't make that decision based on mechanics. Honestly ioun stones are pretty overcosted for what they do, the slotless ability is valued highly but the actual mechanical benefits are stripped by a +4 belt or headband. For now, if we're going to decide who gets it based on +2 CHA it should be Clem and then when we figure out who's carrying the next shard we can assign it. With the correct stone there's no reason we can't have one person carrying all of the shards but that's less fun of course.

If your talking about the first shard after re-reading the posts near the first shard, bibic seemed more covetous, which is closer to Envy.

But then again I also tend to mix up which Sin is which at times.

Meh. Not too worried about who has what shard/stone and what the perfect dynamic would be.

I'm happy to have it casual and goofy...like we are doing now.

Spasi thinks he's pretty/forceful enough already...so is happy to have Clem have the charisma bump. And having Bibs have the int boost is good too...gives someone on Spasi's 'level' to talk high-minded stuff with.

Now, let's go explore some swamp.

Someone would need to explain to Clem what the Ioun Stone does for him to pick it up and utilize it.

He'd certainly take it, if only to match Rhesus.

It's true that it's another channel and another creature to select out from channeling...

Noya's saving throws are pretty awesome at the moment relative to the rest of us, which I suppose is the major boost for her taking it.

I'm letting it go this time, since it is with your Character.

But don't put your character's whoring persona onto another character, unless they open that door themselves.

I was chatting with Fanguar about reporting the first book of the AP for PFS credit (run in campaign mode like we are doing).

I know Pain's sometimes mixed on APs giving credit, but the chronicle for the first book is pretty interesting (it gives a choice of shards, which can make pretty tasty roleplay props in addition to their mechanical benefits).

I'd be up for it being reported if others are (Bibic? Rhesus? Noya)... I think we'd need at least 3 for it to be able to save/report.

As it's an AP, we'd be in "campaign mode", which means we could all be playing anything outside of regular PFS rules... the credits apply to PFS characters as if we played a pregen PC... aka you take the chronicle and give it to another PC (not Noya, not Bibic, etc).
