Build doesn't look unreasonable to me. I'm not super keen on prepping CLW due to spontaneous casting, but at least it's the domain slot - if your other level 1 domain spell is really useless, it's probably worth prepping the heal, since you can't spontaneously cast using the domain slot.
Yeah. You have a point. The other domain is Glory, which is Shield of Faith. That's probably more useful. Oops. If we get a chance to get new spells I'll switch it out. Thank you for the heads up!
No problem, I was just kicking myself afterwards because I've seen almost that exact same trick used several different times and it always gets corrected afterwards, and I still didn't notice until too late. :)
In terms of buffs, the only things I have prepared that I can cast on everyone are Guidance and Resistance—each with one minute of duration. The thing is that by the time I finished casting on everyone, the spells would be beginning to expire. I'm fine with doing one for everyone, but they are touch spells. Not sure how certain dwarves will react to that.
Do you want to start playing up your Andoran faction? I am playing my PC as if I have already made the decision and been accepted as part of the faction. Actually, if you read my background, that is how I achieved my initial training - through the faction. We can RP that angle if you are interested. I just was not sure if you want to play that up, or if you have even made your faction selection as a PC yet? Let me know.
If you're not in a hurry or fighting, I will let you take 10 on acrobatics checks not to fall in when moving near the hole (assuming your take 10 on acrobatics is at least 5). If you can take 10 and get 15 or higher, you can also take 10 on not treating it as difficult terrain, as long as you are not in a hurry or fighting.
Sorry about the name mixup. Was completely unintentional. =\
As for GDocs, I dunno. Sliced pumpernickel is pretty darned awesome. I'm curious how you're managing this, though. Just import the image from the scenario PDF into Drawings, turn on snap to grid, and overlay everything?
Not that it matters for this fight, Fnord, but I forgot that my Warrior Priest feat gives me a +1 initiative. I have updated my character sheet. I'm good for the next combat we have.
I've got a question that's becoming increasingly relevant. If a player doesn't respond in a combat turn for more than a day, do we assume they hold their actions until they do respond?
Well, first you would have to catch him if you wanted to do that. Or I suppose that is within the rules of what you could do with a disarm, so that would work too. On the bright side, it's clearly a 'tiny' creature which means no reach, so it couldn't make an AoO on a disarm. First you'd have to successfully target him. If you do figure out exactly where he's standing, there's still an auto 50% miss chance targetting an opponent you can't see.
The chain of success required for the net trick to work makes success pretty unlikely (it's not even the skill rolls, I am using pretty low DC's for the skills, it's just hard to hit an invisible enemy with a weapon you don't have proficiency with).
That's actually pretty unfortunate, I just noticed you would have critted the attack roll so you actually would have hit him no matter what without the concealment.
I will go ahead and skip the perception from our wizard since it's just not relevant to the outcome.
Yes, I had forgotten about that, you and Jake can go now. Even though next round Jake's init will be before yours, go ahead and take your action now when you're ready.
Also, please come up with concensus on a two-wide marching order for when you are walking places, I will need that later for a different map and it's best to get the discussion out of the way beforehand.
