My bad Too-tuk!

Aoyagi is able to quickly strike hard and swift against Jiang Fei in the opening rounds of combat. She yelps in pain, but respects the fact that the tengu is a good fighter.

Fahr focuses the attack on Jiang Fei as well. It pays off as his strong shot pierces her knee causing her to collapse as she passes out from the pain.

Dawn vanishes out of sight and out of mind of the attackers momentarily. Pai Gow gives sound advice to the group, telling them the dangers of bad footing.

Seeing how easily Fahr took out Jiang Fei, Zheng turns his focus towards Fahr, charging at him with his guisarme! However, he does not heed Pai Gow's warning, and stumbles on his footing as he makes his way to Fahr, causing his attack to go wide.

Green Zheng

I've added coloured borders to the assailants for easy identification.

Too-tuk gestures and clucks before tossing a pinch of black fur in the air.

Cast ill omen vs. Zheng (1 round duration or until discharged). No save.

Ill Omen:
You afflict the target with bad luck. On the next d20 roll the target makes, it must roll twice and take the less favorable result. For every five caster levels you have, the target must roll twice on an additional d20 roll (to a maximum of five rolls at 20th level).

A target who can speak and has at least one free hand and who is aware of the spell and its effects (such as from a Spellcraft check to identify the spell as it is cast) can negate one reroll by spending a move action to utter a brief prayer or good luck charm to appease the spirits of ill fortune.

I seemed to mix up my colours last round. My mistake, if Too-Tuk was originally targeting Yue Xin, let me know.

The tengu witch curses Zheng with an ill omen. Zheng's spine shivers to it's core as bad luck dawns upon him.

Yue Xin chuckles and takes a step back attempting to free himself from close combat. Following his spectacular display of fireworks, more colourful concoctions flow from his hands. Before you realise it, he has sprayed coloured dust specks all over Aoyagi and Pai Gow.

5 ft step and cast colour spray.
Pai Gow and Aoyagi DC13 Will save or become unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 rounds, followed by an extra blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, and blinded for 1 round.

In interest of keeping the game moving, looks like Raevin will delayed.

Aoyagi: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8

Aoyagi succumbs to the scholar's magical sparks as her head starts to spin in circles. She falls to the ground in a dramatic manner, and is likely to be out of action for a very long time!

Perhaps in an act of vengeance, Pai Gow and Dawn pounces upon Jiang Fei the magician and attempt to neutralize him the good old fashion way. A roundhouse kick and the flat of a blade. He takes the blow, and is heavily bruised, but is yet to succumb to the injuries taken.

Meanwhile, Fahr continues to take on Zheng solo, firing an arrow accurately into the mans abdomen. Without skipping a beat, Zheng lurches immediately forward striking once more with his guisarme and cuts a deep wound into Fahr's legs.

Too-tuk clucks in amusement when the guard fumbles. He turns his head and glares at Zheng with a single, golden eye, while an eerie chittering noise emanates from the tengu's throat.

Earlier, just as it seemed that Fahr was about to be hit, by a stroke of calculated luck, he dodges causing the arrow barely scrape by him. It seems Too-Tuk had a hand in causing luck.

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Being a scholar of sorts, Yue Xin recongizes Too-Tuk's trick and is able to negate the most of it, but in so it distracts him from performing his combat.

Being forced into combat, he takes a step back while grabbing a Morningstar. With a weapon in hand, he swings a Dawn but misses badly.

Dawn is no longer vanished.

"Now, Yue Xin, if you're going to swing that morningst-" Dawn casually twists to the side. "You gotta lighten up a little. Not dive into fights at the first second."

Dawn giggles, excited and maybe a little off balance. She grasps the falchion with both hands.

Spending an Eldritch Pool point to enter a state of Mystic Focus for 2 turns. 5 ft step and attack.

Also he needs to make a DC 11 Will Save or become confused for 1 round. You know, just in case he survives.

And that is combat over!

Pai Gow delivers a hard knock to Zheng. Forced into close range, Fahr has no choice but to draw his sword and retaliate, and he does it well the first time injuring the bodyguard enough to cause him to limp and fall unconscious.

Jianghong accepts defeat, and turns his face away, embarrassed at the situation at hand. With no on in your path, you are able to travel back without trouble with the bejewel scroll case. The ghostly princess Song Rui is excited and shows it during her travels with you.

The rest of your journey is uneventful, but you keep your backs guarded at all times just in case another unwanted surprise comes around your way.

Upon your return to the village with the scroll, Mai Chun becomes ecstatic and orders a celebration of the success. Additionally Mai Chun and the old princess get on famously, sharing tales of the past, filling in lost knowledge where need be.

The night celebration is huge, everyone in town celebrates your findings in the temple square, fireworks are lit, dances are had, all time merriness around the clock, with food to die for. Mai Chun pledges to publish an entire book of interviews based on their conversations, and she delights in trading poetic couplets with the well-educated phantom. Most of the time, the phantom flits awkwardly about the riotous village party to celebrate. A local representative of the Sun Shogun provides a reward of 3,000 gp and access to a store of magical talismans in gratitude. Your endeavours, long and tiring, have paid off, and would be a great addition to the Pathfinder Chronicles.

We are concluded, I will let GM Faelyn handle the chronicles and reporting rightfully since I barely did anything here, but if you do not receive them let me know and I will complete them as required.

"Make sure to pack some ice on their wounds, Jianghong." Dawn appears a moment later. "Sorry kid, but I don't gave them my word."

Dawn has a lot of fun on the way back telling Princess Song Rui various "Green" jokes.

Perform(Comedy): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Dawn gets right into the festivities. This is what she lives for: new communities, new experiences, and plenty of jokes to tell. This aught to keep her mind at ease, at least for another week.

That was fun! Thanks for running.
