Shel Whispertongue PFS |
Shel leads the way down the right passageway, when the others get healed up.
Perception 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
EndlessForms |
Go ahead and retcon healing. Also, if you have your own wands feel free to roll your healing and assume Brachus used your wand on you; that speeds things up a bit and makes it easier on the healer so he doesn't have to track everyone's HP.
Shel leads the way into a stark, unfinished chamber lit only by four candles on the floor, placed at the far corners of the room.
Dim lighting unless you are bringing your own light sources into the room. Miss chance for those of you without low-light vision.
Bound within this cave lurks a bloated, accursed beast-thing with three rows of lactating breasts. It seems a cross between a gnoll and some sort of giant. Chained to the southernmost wall of the cave, it roars in anger as Shel enters.

Brachus |
Brachus moves forward a bit and seeing how he can't get near the action without blocking some more capable melee fighter decides to just provide a little guidance to Ennioa
(move, then cast guidance on Ennioa)
Ennoia |
Nodding to Brachus in gratefulness, Ennoia lets herself be guided by the cleric and unleashes a volley against the monstrosity.

1. Delphine, Ennoia, Shel, Sir Terramor, and Brachus
2. Black Milk Mother (53 dmg)

Shel and Sir Terramor are up!
Shel Whispertongue PFS |
With the beast being chained, shel is in no hurry to close distance with it. She keeps her blades out, but holds her position away from the beast.
Sir Terramor the Blue Knight |
Sir Terramor is disgusted with the slaughter and the beast being slaughtered, but he agrees wholly with Shel. He hangs back and awaits the inevitable.

not good enough due to the increase in nat armor from the spell ^^

White Fang and Ennoia work together to bring the foul creature down!
Out of combat!
Brachus |
"Good work people"
Brachus casts guidance and detect magic and takes a look around the area
(take 10 on perception, using guidance for a 27)
If nothing shows up he suggests following the tunnel leading further out of this room.
EndlessForms |
Brachus' search turns up nothing interesting; the room is quite bare and the beast has nothing of value.
Shel Whispertongue PFS |
Shel will lead up group up the smaller tunnel (as I've shown on the map), looking for traps as she goes.
Perception 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23
Ennoia |
Ennoia appears to be quite shocked by the beast they've just fought. She ponders things for a moment, before deciding to follow Shel.
This must not deter me, it is just one more reason to put an end to this dreadful business. Falayna, give me strength.
EndlessForms |
Shel sees a metal statue at the end of the hallway (to her left), a hideous rendition of a pregnant woman with distinctly canine features and three rows of breasts. This is clearly yet another depiction of Lamashtu.
Shel also notes that the statue is in fact a secret door that blocks a passage leading further back. Unfortunately, Shel also notes that without a key the statue is rigged to send out an electrical burst down the hallway. Before she has time to ponder this trap too much though, a voice speaks out behind the statue. "Have you brought me my offering?"
Shel Whispertongue PFS |
"Sure do. We have him right here," Shel nods as she points at Dalton. "But you need to turn off the electricity so we can get him over to you."
Bluff 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
EndlessForms |
I forgot before, not that it changes much: you heard it speaking telepathically, not out loud.
"Oh! Oh!" A small voice calls out in your minds. "Right back here!" A vaguely humanoid creatures about the size of a cat but looking more like a toothy, winged devil emerges from behind the statue with a key. It flies up and inserts the key into the hole, allowing the statue to slide backward and revealing a passage behind.
Shel Whispertongue PFS |
Shel moves forward to the now opened passage carefully, taking ten on Percpetion for a 24 against traps. "We are bringing him forward now."
Delphine Tarrasquel |
Nice :)
EndlessForms |
You file down the narrow passage and the homunculus gives you no problems.
Three rectangular shallow pools divide this wide chamber. A short flight of steps in the northern half of the room climbs o a narrow alcove, atop which rests a sarcophagus sculpted from black basalt. Carved from the surrounding stone, the entire chamber is engraved with primitive runes.
Within this room dwells the mad and vengeful spirit of a woman deformed with some gnoll features, a hideously scarred belly, and blackened wings! "I damn you all and your spawn to the wrath of Lamashtu!" she shouts as you enter.

Shel Whispertongue PFS |
Shel moves 5' to the east and 5' to the north, readying an action to slice the creature when it approaches.
Ennoia |
Ennoia enters the room, and declares the spirit to be malignant enough to become her bane! Smite evil.
Assuming it's evil:
+1 Composite Longbow (cold iron, DA, PBS, smite evil): 1d20 + 14 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 14 + 3 = 331d8 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 9 + 2 = 16
Touch AC is 18 against this creature.
Brachus |
I think the magic circle vs evil is also still up..I don't think 70 minutes have passed since the last 3-4 encounters, so assuming she's evil that's another +2 deflection bonus to AC/resistance bonus to save for everyone within 10 ft of me
Brachus moves forward into the room and seeing what's obviously a spirit (who doesn't look friendly - assuming it's an undead here) he produces his holy symbol in front of him and proudly displays it as he channels positive energy to disrupt the connection the (evil?) spirit has to this realm

3. Dalton and Sir Terramor

Dalton Bodhi |
Dalton stands at careful attention. He clenches and unclenches his fists. Still having some reserve of ki, his fists are magical weapons, but hitting a ghost?
Dalton enters his snapping turtle style and rushes forward, past Brachus. He then reaches out to try and punch the ghost.
Punch!: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 1/2 damage
Actually, ki strike says it counts as magic for damage resistance purposes, so I'm not sure if it applies against incorporeal.
EndlessForms |
@Dalton: I would say it does.
Ennoia, Shel, Brachus, and Dalton work together to beat up on the ghost! She's not looking very strong any more but is certainly still fighting!
