Ok, I've been rethinking some things with a few suggestions from other GMs and discussions happening on the boards:

  • Druthane, Rhydderch, and Jaysin made it out. Rhydderch can presumably heal Jaysin before he dies so you three are ok.
  • Ander, Grimdoc, and Hagrym: The robots, although intelligent, probably would not have CDG'd you and would have just gone back to their positions to wait for more intruders. At least it doesn't say anywhere in their stats/tactics that they fight to the death or fight to kill. So if you can stabilize before you die you would only have to pay the 5 PP to have your body recovered. If you die then unfortunately you'll have to get the whole body recovery/Raise/Restoration(x2) bundle.

So I'll let the three of you roll some stabilization checks to see if you are still alive or not....

Whew, that's very helpful. While it sucks that we won't be able to finish the scenario at least there is a chance all of us will escape alive.

Ander stabilized after he went down.

Hagrym stabilized the same round he went down. He'd be happy to pay the body recovery fee in PP to get out of this insane scenario, lol! No more robot scenarios for this guy...

I'll wait to see if Grimdoc can stabilize and then I'll get chronicles out.

Sorry you guys didn't have a good experience with this scenario. It looked pretty neat despite that crazy first encounter. Blackros scenarios are always fun.

Don't get too discouraged about Season 6 or Numeria-focused/robot scenarios. It seems this one is a bit worse than the others released so far. And not all of Season 6 will be Numeria-focused, as I said. Which is honestly a relief for me, I got kinda sick of the "Year of the Demon" focus last year; I get that they're trying to make a cohesive arc out of the season but they pushed it a little too hard in nearly every scenario last year. Some of my favorites from last year had nothing to do with the Worldwound. So I just hope they don't make 75% of the scenarios about Numeria and the Technic League.

Not a problem EF. I guess its OK to get your ass kicked once in a while. That was nearly my first death (I've been close before!) and this will be my first "empty" chronicle, which does sorta suck. Oh well. Time to find Jaysin another game!

If someone does end up dying Jaysin would be willing to help with some coin. He can be an ass but he's always willing to aid those who need help.

Grimdoc had already stabilized and then had paladin healing on top...so he was good at -1..

    The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

Excellent! So I'll just mark down that Ander, Grimdoc, and Hagrym had to spend 5 PP to get their bodies recovered. I'll get chronicles out later today.

Sorry everyone had such a rough time with this one! Thanks for playing anyways though!

no worries GM. Thanks for running it. We were clearly overmatched in that first room. I am just sorry we did not get to see behind door #2. Now I might have to order it just to find out. :-)

Thanks everyone! Chronicles have been sent!

@Druthane: let me know when you run it, I want to take a crack at it!
