Quiven Glist |
Quiven will also aid Octavio and Leastrie, realizing that they will need to gain information from the rat-man in order to complete the task entrusted to him by the Grand Lodge.
Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Octavio Rook |
Octavio, subtly secures the wayfinder found on Leska, and then moves over to the ratfolk and begins the interrogation. Octavio takes his time with the ratfolk, and trys to get him to calm down and improve his attitude.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Who sent you here?
How long have you been here?
What have you taken?
Octavio allows for the others in the group to interject their questions.
Amarthecthel |
Knowing his gifts do not run to making friends, Amarthecthel withdraws a little ways and watches over his allies while they question the Aspis members.

"Please, please, don't hurt me" the small ratfolk says. "I'm not an Aspis. From what I understand of their operations though, Leska here was assigned to create a lasting Apsis Consortium base here from which other agents operating in the tapestry could be dispatched and which could act as a staging area for treasures plundered before they were sent back to Golarion."
"I heard Leska mention that the portal is located within a temple in a giant sphinx monument in the middle of a vast desert. She said the portal links to a land called Varisia, although I've never heard of such a place."
"I come from Round Mountain; I am one of the government officials there. I have lived there all my life. The ratfolk of Round Mountain perhaps hold more power than any other stable civilization in the Tapestry and I was sent as an envoy to the temple to invite the commanding agent here back to the rats’ home in Round Mountain, and other envoys were sent to other Aspis Consortium settlements throughout the demiplane."
"Yashi over there, I believe he worked for the Golden League, some society from the east that claims to have goals that align conveniently with the goals of the Consortium."
For those of you who didn't catch it, this scenario gives you many nice lead-ins to 3-25 Storming the Diamond Gate (which is a lead-in to 3-26 Portal of the Sacred Rune), 3-20 and 3-22 The Rats of Round Mountain Parts I and II, and 4-21 Way of the Kirin.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Having cleared the Temple of Ragdya of the Aspis influence, the party leaves the Tapestry via the portal through which they entered. Aram Zey and the other venture-captains are pleased with the many new leads about the Aspis activity in the Tapestry that the party has gathered and order all Pathfinders to be prepared for nothing short of an all-out war between the Pathfinders and Aspis Consortium for control of the demi-plane within the Hao Jin Tapestry.
Congratulations! You have completed 3-19 The Icebound Outpost! I hope you all had a good time! I will have chronicle sheets up shortly. Thanks everyone!

I'll be GMing more in the future but I'm going to wait for a week until GenCon is out of the way.

This will work out. I'll take Quiven to my local PFS game and play in 5.1 since he is my only Grand Lodge guy. I also printed out that Year of the Risen Rune sheet, do I need you to sign it or something?
