The worm man laughs as Brachus appears before him and he hears the castings and words of the other Pathfinders nearby. "Welcome, Pathfinders. Just wondering..did the worm guy take more damage from my sound burst? It's an area effect and Jakarno told us that area effects are more effective against him. Not that I think that the 2 extra damage will matter that much, but just so we have conformation that area effects actualy are more effective

The creature that once was Joktan collapses into a heap of dissolving, desiccated worms on the stone floor and a deep rumbling courses through the chamber. The tremors grow both more violent and more rapid until suddenly the earth beneath the altar bulges up and explodes in a shower of dust and mud. A gigantic writhing worm creature with a gaping maw covered in teeth has exploded from beneath the altar!

Grugni sighs and directs the Hell Hound illusion to Harry the worm, then slips over to the wall, drawing the materials for another Grease spell and a pearl from his pouch and muttering the activation. The grease materializes beneath the worm.
Use Pearl of Power 1 to recover Grease, cast it beneath the worm. DC 18 Reflex. Extended Illusions will keep the Hound around for two additional rounds.

@Jakarno: yep, Ragnar is right. It is a standard to use the pearl to 'reprepare' the spell, and then you can cast it as a separate action.

Activating your teleportation tokens given to you, you can arrive safely back in the Grand Lodge in Absalom. By drinking again from the Chalice of Undeath your undead disguises can be removed and you are thanked for a job well done. The Society scholars will have to spend some time studying the Testament to determine its true powers.

Secondary: The PCs maintain a low profile, avoid angering the church of Pharasma, and set the spirit of a fallen comrade to rest. The PCs accomplish two of the following three conditions: avoid Corvalos (or successfully talk their way out of the encounter), convince Kuryn Jexel to parley without killing any of the Pharasmin acolytes, or destroy Joktan’s Haunt.
