To the north numerous small side passage branch out from the main corridor, which slopes upward. Hundreds of burial niches have been carved into the rock walls of the catacombs. Further on, each wall is carved with a huge red demonic skull face with short tusks.

The passage to the northeast is an uneven passage winding clumsily through the rocky mountain, climbing a number of cliff-like shelves as it passes. Eventually you come out to a larger cave in which rough nests of piled furs are scattered about amid bones and stalagmites. You seem to have disturbed the inhabitants of these nests: five large yetis!

Each yeti has 1d6 ⇒ 5 gemstones worth 50 gp each and the pink one wore an amulet of natural armor +1. Looking through their dens you also find another 5d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 2, 5, 5) = 24 polished gemstones worth 50 gp each.

A deep crevasse dominates the sprawling cavern to the north.

Tying off a rope, Zachary and Terflynn are able to descend to the bottom of the crevasse 80 feet below. Nothing untoward waits below other than some yeti excrement and other various refuses.

Beyond you find more yeti caves, one in particular containing a worthy collection: eight amethysts (500 gp each), four topaz crystals (900 gp each), and 21 hematites (50 gp each).
