Yeah, I completely understand about being too busy and I have that problem all the time.
As for Jennix, all I heard from him was some time around the beginning of the year that real life was making it hard for him to get near a computer anymore and then his posts gradually got less and less frequent until now he's been completely absent from the boards for at least two weeks and most of his games haven't been updated in over a month. Sadly, it's more than just one of his games that's been taken over by another GM. I finished his Night March of Kalkamedes game for him, Bold Strider is taking over his Mummy's Mask game, and Chris Marsh has taken over his Wardens of the Reborn Forge game. There's actually a few others that need rescuing as well, particularly his Eyes of the Ten game that just started Part II last month before he disappeared.

On that note, with being one man down (at least for the time being) and with everyone being very busy it seems, I've decided to wrap up this campaign for good at the end of this book. I've just always found it a bit hard to get into Jade Regent compared to the other APs I've had experience with so maybe it's just not for me but I'm also getting busy and would like to cut down on my game load. My other APs are in book 6 now so they will likely wrap up in six months or less but it would likely take us another 1-2 years to finish the AP, especially at the pace we've been going, so I think it would be better to wrap the game up at the end of book 4 and leave it there.
Hopefully that's not too much of a blow for any of you but I at least want to finish the last little bit of this dungeon so we can end at a good place rather than abandoning the game in the middle of a crawl. I'll still be around the boards probably mostly running and playing PFS games but as my schedule gets busier with school and I transition to writing my thesis full time by the end of the year, longer-forms games like APs are just a bit too much for me. I'm actually looking forward to all of my AP commitments wrapping up soon.
Makes perfect sense to switch back to scenarios rather than APs with that upcoming schedule, EF. Totally understand.
I'm okay with letting our story wrap at the end of Book 4. I mean it when I say "Real Life Comes First [tm]"; doesn't matter if it's job-related, school-related, family-related, or whatever — as much as we love playing and GMing, it's still a game, after all.
I'm good for whatever. I've been having a lot of PC problems at home and dealing with a lot of overtime intensive rollouts at work as well.
