Johnathan's whirling swirl of color leaves the Hydra and its last remaining head mesmerized and out of sorts. Falko steps forward and chops the remaining head.

Cretien's shot explodes causing enough firey havoc to cauterize all of the remaining heads on the beast. The beast falls onto the deck.

Falko let's himself slip to the gut and blood covered deck, singing hydra heads lying left and right of him. His head bowed in extreme exhaustion, he starts shivering, but the shivers are gradually replaced with giggles, then he bursts out laughing, grateful for surviving.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!!" he shouts to nowhere in particular.

"Of course..." Falko curses as he crawls his way up and starts running to where the sailor came from.

You follow the blood trail to where the former captain was being interred with Kranto, the remains of Captain are gruesomely familiar. His skull has been ripped open, his jaw dislocated, and his brain has been eaten. It's the same for Kanto. Finona bloody from fighting cabin is in ripped clothing.

'I cannot believe what has happened. I saw Dr. Meredith merge and demerge with a translucent being whereby it ate the brains of several crew members. It was horrific. While she fought me with her pick. I think they were together when she first attacked me and then it demerged and she cried and then it came back after eating. It then knocked me out briefly and they both disappeared.'

She whimpers and continues, "It was all so fast. Several of my ritual components and candles are missing', she remarks, 'as well as some scrolls'.

She then takes you further below decks where a trail of blood (and the odd dead crewman, seemingly ripped apart by strong hands, but not eaten) lead to the furthest corner of the lowest deck. Here, a ritual circle has been set up.

While the group of constables research the magical side of things, Asher will patrol the ship, making sure no one else is injured, that no other monsters (slime or otherwise) are making their way onto the ship, and that the watches are replaced and actively keeping an eye on threats.
