we probably need to have some OOC discussion about what we are going to do about the ship and its cargo, otherwise i think we are going to get crippled with indecision which will bog the game down unnecessarily.

I guess I can relay what the characters know... Lorcan Kell, who knows where the Doctor is, wants you to sink the ship. If you sink the ship he will get you the doc. You could still confiscate the wands and other stuff if you want. The fey pepper will be kept by the RHC and not returned because it is an illegal controlled substance. The wands may eventually be repatriated back to the Clergy in Chryssilir.
For the next day, you are definitely going to have a meet with Gale the terrorists which was set up by the Skyseer. I know we have had some serious combats recently but we are making progress.

You guys are constables of the RHC. If you follow the rules you will bring everything back and hand it over to the RHC for processing. But of course if you do that you won't get the whereabouts of the Doctor.

Chretien will half-heartedly disagree about not turning in the platinum. it IS a lot of money, but the rules are the rules. plus they are likely quite knowledgable about what was on the ship, ESPECIALLY if we don't kill all the prisoners, which we wont.

Ah, so if i understand things correctly:
1. Danor and Ber are in opposite directions of each other from Risur, so the doctor going to Ber by way of Danor wouldn't even make sense.
2. There is very little Lebrix can do to effect our delivery of the doctor to Ber.
which makes me wonder why we considered bringing him here in the first place? Or did i just fire off in the wrong direction and we were here to see Lebrix for other reasons?
and also, we need to figure out what's up with those journals.

According to the module he needs an exit stamp to move onto ber because the danoran consulate needs to vouch for him. Meeting lebrix Gives you the opportunity to ask about the documents because his name is all over them.

The berians have already said its cool for him to come with Danoran permission... yes it is very archaic... it's like it was in 1850 or something in what is now Germany.

Maybe I missed the explanation, or forgot, but why is Sarya with our group of RHC? And speaking and bargaining for us? I don't remember Delft explaining her presence/authority. If I missed it, can someone copy-paste?
I'm guessing it's something about Risur's diplomacy with the dream merchants, two groups working together or something?

Sarya works for the RHC but also the Dream Merchants kind of like Chretien works for the university and the RHC.
In this case she is kind of like a liasion between the two groups. Normally, I have new characters introduced through the Chief but due to meeting with Kell and then the Church scene it made a little more sense to have her follow you guys to the church and meet you there.
The misunderstanding is wholly my fault and I wish to apologize to all of the players about this.
I do really enjoy this campaign and I hope you all are as well.

I've actually seen the Steamwright in action GM, the similarities are such that I would recommend (if you find the class to your liking) allowing Cretien to swap class levels wholesale. On the whole the Steamwright is just better executed then the Machinesmith.
