The swords come to life and bash the party - but they are padded and while they leave bruises they do not kill anyone at the very least.

It takes a little doing to get over the swords once they are locked in place - Capone in particular needs help

One half of this lofty chamber has a lowered floor, with stairs on either side to reach the bottom. Standing opposite the door is a tall wooden statue of Kassen grasping a gigantic wooden shield in each hand. One of the shields is inscribed with the word “home,” while the other reads “family.”

Deluge grins with a teesie bit of malicious delight as the makeshift umbrella spares him from the punishment doled out upon his less prepared compatriots.

OK, I know I'm making a stretch here since the GM never actually said that the statues attacked deluge too, but I like the image.

Deluge walks up to the edge of the 'balcony' and looks down onto the next floor.

Hugo slides down the stairs with aplomb and gets right into the Golem's face. Unfortunately, that face is made of some pretty solid oak and his attack fails to connect.

The statue then rears its attacks with the giants shields, slamming one into the centipede and one into poor Hugo.

The big wooden statue fails to get out of the way and a brief moment later the statue fails to keep moving and collapses, dropping the pair of great tower shields.

There is a door behind the creature and inside there is a cute little care package with each of your names on it.

For Hugo, a potion labeled STRENGTH and another labeled MAGIC OIL FOR WEAPONS

For Deluge, a Wand labeled FIRE and Scroll Labeled BARK SKIN
