Apologies, unexpected bout of illness took me out for a couple days

You make your way to the front of the tomb, you find the tracks from the bandits get mixed in with some other sets of tracks leading to a heavy set of stone doors.

As the heavy doors swing open, the faint light from outside reveals a long chamber with risen platforms on either side. A faded painting of Kassen is on the far wall. The room appears to be the site of a gruesome battle, with two bodies piled in the center and a number of skeletons scattered around. An echoing wail can be heard somewhere in the distance, beyond this foul chamber.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think that any of what Meran did just then provoked an opportunity attack

Hugo narrowly misses the purple hued skeleton with the assist by Meran while Deluge bounces his way into a solid hit against the Blue hued one.

Meran, by contrast, has her attack hit dead on by the pointed needle tip of her rapier failed to do much to the hard calcified body of the skeleton.

Will wait another 12-18 hours or so on Daereon before botting him

Giddy from his minor success, Deluge is blindsided by a different skeleton than the one his concentration was on. When he turns his attention to the new threat, his aim is not nearly as good. All that shifting about throws his balance off (what balance he has)!

Daereon dusts the last one.

Once they have chance to dust themselves off and heal a bit, they look around the room and find that the three smashed bodies belonged to people they vaguely recognized from back in Kassen.

Someone - or something - killed them and reduced them to bones in less than a day?

The two bodies have pillow cases full of 10 blunted arrows a piece and both are wearing orc masks and holding a pair of smokesticks.
