Thracius listens to the historian's impromptu lecture with his complete focus and attention, fascination as always of the stamp that people find themselves making on the world, this time intentionally, though often it is by pure chance, secretly he hoped to make his own mark on Golarion, for historians to remember.

Zora's dead panned delivery of humour brought a reflexive smile from the shy elf, at his own attempt he replies.

"Oh, I do hope my soaked robes have not removed a vital part of history!" he looks slightly embarrassed at his unreserved response.

"I believe that your robes will do nothing that time itself has not done," she reassures Thracius with the faintest of smiles, then bows her head towards Gill.

"Master Gill, regretfully I must take my leave. I will inquire of the bartender if we might assist her in her duties, in order to expedite our mission."

(Zora will leave 1 GP on the table to cover the drinks so far and anything else Gill (or Thracius) wishes to drink; then she goes in search of Heryn.)

Between Faust's know-how and the mending magic applied with the strong intuition on mechanics possessed by Zora Draznoi the board now seems significantly more stable and you are able to pass over the 10 foot deep chasm.

The group then successfully croses the chasm and opens the door to the older vintages room where, just as described the wine bottle you are looking for is found.

Just to speed things along....

When someone pulls on the wine bottle to remove it from its slot they find that that bottle is actually the lever for a secret door as the winerack makes a loud *CLICK* sound and begins to turn outward, revealing a back room.

A sturdy silver chain jutting from the ceiling ends in a glowing orb that radiates yellow light across the rectangular room. A simple desk of polished wood, stacked with documents and scattered notes, shelters a pair of wooden chests against the south wall. A series of cracks along the eastern and western walls form makeshift entrances into exposed caverns.

However as the door opens a swarm of bats flies out at you!

Xavilon needs to make a DC 11 Fort Save

Xavilon knows that swarms made up of dimuitive creatures like this (there are at least 5000 of them) can't be effected by weapons at all. It will take energy damage of some kind or area damage, including from the flames of a torch in a pinch, to actually do damage to the swarm as a whole.

Getting caught in the middle of a swarm of bats would hurt and cause you to start bleeding, which would continue to hurt even after you got away from the swarm.

He also knows that any spell that would effect a single target, aside from mind-affecting ones designed to calm animals, would not work.

Finally she knows that bat swarms when they attack people can leave them distracted and sickened, leaving them nauseated.

Faust's bomb misses its mark, hitting only with the splash damage from his bomb.

Moving as far away from the swarm as you can is probably your best bet. You only take damage while you're in the swarm, and swarms are often slowish. So double-move somewhere that is not Swarmy. (Swarms won't get attacks of opportunity on you, so just scramble wherever you like.)

Also, looking at your sheet, you have two acid flasks and two alchemist fires, so you're probably better set up to fight the swarm than half of this party, heh. ;)
