Stay away from the idol. Its shadow makes me uneasy. Otom instinctively goes to his hammer. The world of dark magic, arcana and voodoo makes him even a touch fearful as he doesn't know how to deal with things in battle that he can't smash. He gestures to the body of a dead pathfinder on the floor. in its shadow

Orophin advances on the organ.

"I can try, but my favourite instrument is actually voice."

He starts to sing a haunting melody he composed after meeting one of the white witches animated dolls.

Frostfur captives reference!

perform: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29

When the song finishes he asks

"Would you like to sing with me? What songs do you know?"

The Veteran's Vault: MAP

No! No! No! I'm the singer you need to play for me! The doll pouts. Standing up the doll reaches up onto the organ. She pulls down a piece of paper that looks like sheet music and starts to sing.

GM Rolls:

Max: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Orophin: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Seijiro: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Before anyone really notices what is going on the words of the song the doll is singing become the words to a spell and the writing on the paper she is reading from snake off the paper and swirl around in the air over to Orophin where they float into his ears.
You will play for as long as I sing. The the Doll says with an mischievous smile.
Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 the dice bot likes the creepy doll ;)
Orophin,
You feel an overwhelming need to play for the doll whenever she is singing.

initiative:

Max: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2

Now, I wouldn't says we are in 'Combat". I just want to keep things organized. The doll has not done anything that would seem harmful. No map, this is a crowded small room, you can all fit inside but only 3 people can be adjacent to the doll, one of those spaces is currently occupied by Orophin.

It not looks neccesary yet, Otom. But keep an eye.

How long will you sing? And why has mi friend to play the piano?

Garret also moves adjacent to the doll with his morningstar at hand, prepared to smash the doll if it atacks any of them, or Orophin is hurted in any way.

I don´t like the way it´s refering to Orophin. It appear to means something bad will happen to him if he play the piano

The Veteran's Vault: MAP

In the shattered pieces of the dool you find a bright green gem that radiates necrotic energies.

The dead pathfinder is much the same as the one's you found upstairs in the barrels. He has a number of small cuts, likely the cause of death. In a satchel you do find an everburning torch.

Searching the room you find a lumber of relics from around the Innersea and beyond. The only item of value is a set of finely crafted studded leather armor decorated in northern Mwangi style. You also fine a black blades dagger sized for a small creature. The blade is unlike any you have ever seen and it matches the wounds on the dead pathfinder.

A nondescript door stands near the one you entered though it appears to be stuck, as if a great weight has fallen onto it from the other side.

Seeing Seijiro, Maximillian and Otom pushing the door, Garret decides to help them.

Take 10 on Strengh aid for a 12.

Four men and a fox trying to open a door... It will not say good things about us if we´re not able to open it.
