Chapter 2: Turn of the Torrent
Part 1: The Ninth Proclamation

Pics | Maps | Loot & Notes

Starting Day: Toilday, 20th of Abadius 4715 AR
Current Day: Oathday, 11th of Calistril 4715 AR

Greetings PbPers! I've had a friend drop out of my PbP game of Hell's Rebels so I am looking for a replacement. We are currently about half-way through the first book. We currently have a party of 4, the composition is below:

Human Bloodrager
Human Cleric
Human Wizard
Tiefling Slayer

With that in mind our player who left was the main Face of the group. As such, that is the primary role we will be looking to fill. This provides some unique challenges in integrating a new player so I am open to creative solutions.

Info about how I run my games, about myself, house rules, etc can be found in the campaign section for reference. I do have some expectations of my players that are spoilered below. I would like to wrap up recruitment by 11/16 at the latest, but if I get some great applications I reserve the right to close recruitment early. As such, if you are interested, get your application in sooner rather than later. I look forward to reviewing what you all come up with!

Character Creation Guidelines:

- No 3rd Party content (including the no feat tax rules)

- Starting Level: 2nd level
- Stats: 20 Point Buy, no stat below 10 or above 18 before racial modifiers
- Alignment: Non-Evil, preferably non-lawful unless you have good RP reason to be rebelling instead of following the law of the land
- HP: Max for 1st level; after, half + 1 + Con
- Classes: Anything except Occult classes, Gunslinger, Synthesist Summoner, prioritizing ranged focus. Can use unchained.
- Races: Preferably Core, Tiefling or Tengu.
- Drawbacks: 1 Drawback allowed but you need to make sure you incorporate it into your background
- Traits: Up to 3 if you have a drawback, one must be a Hell's Rebels campaign trait.
- Wealth: 1200 gp.
- Misc: Let me know your time zone and the time(s) of day you will most likely be able to post. Also, tell me about your experience with PbP? How many PbP games are you currently participating in?
- Background: If you are not native to Kintargo, there needs to be a good reason why you would be there during martial law that would also make sense why you would take part in a rebellion. I don't need a novella, but at a minimum answer the following questions:

1) Where/how are you living in Kintargo? (Doesn't have to be a specific location, but it can. If not specific, what part of town at least)
2) What do you do for a living?
3) Do you have any ties to the community, any locals you frequent, any groups you are/want to be a part of?
4) If you take a drawback, why does your character have that drawback?
5) Do you have any family/relationships in Kintargo?
6) Why would a group of (so far) secretive rebels be interested in you joining their group?

Player Expectations:
As I’ve noted in the campaign info section I am expecting a minimum of 1 post per weekday. I expect you to work with me to tell the story, not just rely on me to rail road you everywhere. I expect that you understand taking part in a PbP AP is generally a multi-year endeavor. As such, before you apply make sure you are ready for that commitment. I know life happens, I’ve had to drop games in the past, and I won’t hold it against you, but please keep in mind the time commitment you are signing up for before you sign up. I expect that if you know you will be away for any extended period of time (holiday/vacation/etc) you will let me know ahead of time. I expect that if something comes up that has changed your circumstances or unexpectedly caused you to not be able to post you will give me a heads up as soon as you are able. I will provide an alternate means of contact in the event you want to reach out from a smarthphone, not only for the above, but also in the event there are issues with the forums.

I'm interested. Thinking maybe a Forlorn elf bard of some description...

To answer some of the Misc. Questions, I'm in GMT-5, but I should be able to post almost any time, given my current state of life, save when I'm asleep. I'm not currently participating in any PbP games, though I have multiple experiences under my belt, including being on both sides of the GM screen.

Liberty's Edge

I'm thinking Alchemist or Investigator, most likely using Student of Philosophy to get good Diplomacy and Bluff. I have an idea for a tiefling who grew up in the Cloven Hoof society, likely using the Saboteur or Grenadier archetypes: everyone knows that black power is great for revolutions.

Vamir Stareyes, a celebrity bard and natural face of the group. He's not done yet, but I've finished his backstory for now.

Liberty's Edge

Ok, my tiefling idea is not working out, so I'd like to ask, since they're not on the preferred race list, if you'd dislike a Kitsune Oracle of Intrigue specialized in misdirection, disguise and bluffing. A good-hearted swindler and liar, growing Magical Tails and shapeshifting tactically.

I've a human investigator I'd like to submit to this. Besides the face skills is trapfinding taken care of?

Definitely considering throwing my hat in for this. But just for clarification, you don’t want characters with a ranged combat focus, right?

I read that as wanting a ranged focus, but I can see how it would be confusing...

I'd like to apply with Sholti here. She made it about halfway through Book 1 of Hell's Rebels before the campaign folded.

She's a Dawnflower Dervish Bard so obviously I'm interpreting the mention of ranged as NOT desirable. If I'm wrong, I could rework her by changing archetypes to one that supports ranged combat well. I'd also be fine with changing archetypes if the party really wants the performance bonus since Dawnflower Dervish does not share it.

Sholti is primarily a face and support character, though she can hold her own well in combat. She was actually one of the front liners in her old party. But it doesn't look like that's needed in this case so she could step back from melee a bit for more spell casting. I will have to make a few minor changes to bring her in line with your character creation guidelines, but they're minor and she's fundamentally ready to go.

Her full history is included in her profile character sheet, and below are the brief answers to your questions.

Background Questions:

1) Where/how are you living in Kintargo? (Doesn't have to be a specific location, but it can. If not specific, what part of town at least)
Sholti lives with her mother and step-father in Villegre. Their house is close to Yolubilis Harbor, where the family's shipping business is located.

2) What do you do for a living?
Sholti has only recently returned to Kintargo from school in Absalom. Her parents expect her to eventually take over the family business. While she's ducking work as well as she can, she's currently helping with accounting and bookkeeping as a start in preparing her to run it.

3) Do you have any ties to the community, any locals you frequent, any groups you are/want to be a part of?
Sholti was born and grew up in Kintargo until the age of 14, when she left for school in Absalom. Since she has been away for some time, she doesn't know he city intimately. She has a considerable love for theater and opera. She is a performer herself, and wants to be a professional opera singer, not run the family business. Sholti would be very interested in seeking out artistic types as a step toward getting herself reestablished in Kintargo. The same is true of fellow Sarenites. She intended to be more active in the church when she returned, but current circumstances mean she'd more likely be trying to find fellow worshippers to assist them.

4) If you take a drawback, why does your character have that drawback?
Sholti has the Oppressive Expectations drawback. While her parents and family in general are quite loving, determination and success are strongly emphasized. Mistakes and failures are not well tolerated. A great amount of pressure is placed on Sholti.

5) Do you have any family/relationships in Kintargo?
Her mother and father are her only relatives in Kintargo. It is possible some of her old friends are still present in the city, and that she could reconnect with them.

6) Why would a group of (so far) secretive rebels be interested in you joining their group?
Aside from her family, the two things about Kintargo that mattered most to Sholti, a flourishing arts community, and a Sarenite community, have been crushed by Barzillai Thrune within a week of Sholti's return. The Opera is closed, the Silver Star is burned, and Shensen is missing. While Sholti isn't going to do anything overly rash all by herself, she's not going to remain idle either. Shensen is the figure who unifies Sholti's passions, and Sholti is quite a fan besides. She would be snooping around trying to find out what happened to Shensen, and could easily cross paths with the rebels.

Silver Crusade

Would the group be open to a paladin of Sarenrea or Shelyn? (would lean more towards Shelyn at the moment) I hope it would work, already getting fun ideas.

The basic premise would be that they had lived in the city since being found as an orphan and taken in by the church of Shelyn. They have sat and waited for something to change for the better, but finally are fed up with the oppression and unjust rule of Thrune and its utter suffocation of art, music and love. I'd use the Shelyn tenants for his paladin code of course.

the final question I would like to ask before I start fully diving into this idea, which doesn't change a whole lot about it I suppose, would an aasimar be ok?

@Sapiens I won't say no outright to Kitsune just keep in mind that unless you are constantly keeping up a disguise in public, you are going to stand out which may make keeping identities hidden more difficult.

@trawets71 I mean the slayer has trapfinding, but doesn't mean there can't be two people that overlap. The main thing that is missing is the face.

@Mahorfeus Hehe, that was actually a copy pasta mistake. I've already had to re-recruit for this once as a real life friend who was going to play dropped at the very start (he had never done PbP and it wasn't his thing) So, ignore that it can be ranged or melee.

@Rorek55 Paladin could definitely work. As far as Aasimar, the same thing that I noted to Sapiens applies. I'm not completely opposed, but they aren't common so you will stand out unless you take specific precautions not to.

Well, that's a relief. Still considering whether or not to change the celebrity to a different archetype - maybe diva - and how to spend the last two hundred gold. Other than that, though, Vamir is done.

EDIT: I do have a question on how you'd want to handle the Famous feature of the celebrity archetype - I was thinking it would only be effective in certain sections of Kintargo, at least until he got famous enough for it to cover the entire city. Would that be how you want it to work?

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2015 Top 32

I'm interested. I'm thinking about doing a halfling shaman with slums spirit that has connections to the Bellflower Network. Sort of a "voice of the streets" character. Should be easy to connect to the campaign.

GM, are variant tiefling heritages allowed? I’ve always been a fan of rakshasa spawn, especially for a charismatic face type.

Will you be using Background Skills?

Dotting for interest with a scaled-back version of this character.

In the previous campaign Jessibel was in, she was offered a place in the Kintargo Opera House Society (Inner Sea Magic), which offered her some extra abilities and more NPCs to interact with; I'd like to go that route again, if you'd be willing.

I'll work up a new version of this character in the meanwhile.

Misc. Player Info:

Let me know your time zone and the time(s) of day you will most likely be able to post. Eastern U.S. time zone. I don't have home internet but visit a nearby public library for their free WiFi. Hours in spoiler below.
Spoiler:

Sunday & Holidays: Closed; can't (usually) post (except during the NFL season, when I can post from my sister's place while we watch the game).
Monday: 12 PM - 8 PM.
Tuesday & Wednesday: 10 AM - 6 PM.
Thursday: 12 PM - 8 PM.
Friday & Saturday: 9 AM - 5 PM.
I've been really good about visiting my library nearly every day, both to keep current in my PbP game and for the needed exercise (I have diabetes and my back is shot). I'm more likely to do longer days in the summer, when I'm also leeching free air conditioning. :)

Tell me about your experience with PbP? How many PbP games are you currently participating in? I've been playing on the Paizo boards for nearly 3 years now. I'm usually running 1-2 games and playing in 6-9 others (GMing 1, playing in 7 at the moment; 8 counting your new War for the Crown campaign--Capricia).

Appearance
Jessibel is a darkly-attractive young lady with the graceful arms and muscular legs of a dancer. Although she enjoys expensive clothes she’s not above dressing down for a fun night of ‘slumming.’ She recently purchased an exquisite (masterwork) form-fitting suit of red-and-black studded leather armor (with a matching masterwork backpack) that she absolutely adored…until the Aria Park Protest, when the Chelish Citizens’ Group revealed themselves to wear similarly-colored armor. Now the bard uses prestidigitation to hide her armor’s true colors when she goes out in public so as to not be mistaken for a CCG member or devotee of the Church of Asmodeus.
Personality
Jessibel is a confident, fun-loving, at times bratty child of privilege. She can be a maddening mix of actions and emotions, carefree and reckless one moment and deeply caring and responsible the next, selfish and self-centered followed by acts of pure selflessness. She needs and has grown accustomed to her creature comforts but feels for those who have little or nothing. She’s also a budding actress/dancer/singer/entertainer extraordinaire, certain that she’s destined to be Kintargo’s next big celebrity.

Backstory:
The new Lord-Mayor's ascension to power and his endless Proclamations are starting to inconvenience and truly annoy Jessibel. The girl is aware that her grandmother, Archbaroness Eldonna Aulamaxa, is frustrated with the alarmingly diminished role of the Court of Coin over the past week and is worried about the noble house's finances going forward in Lord-Mayor Thrune's new Kintargo. The fact that Barzillai Thrune has claimed the world-famous Kintargo Opera House for his headquarters and shut down the iconic institution cost Jessibel a small role in the production of the infamous Huntress of Heroes. While that's hardly devastating to the young bard, the city's new curfew has curtailed opportunities for all the city's entertainers to perform, costing her coin and delaying her dreams of becoming a star.

Jessibel decided that she'd attending the Aria Park protest for myriad reasons: to see what if anything came from it; to listen to the messages of both protesters and loyalists; and to put on a memorable performance to earn some coin, have her own small say in the recent proclamations and the perilous course of her city, and--of course--make an impression that no one was likely to forget for quite some time!

Toward this end, the bard dressed up as Her Infernal Majestrix--Abrogail Thrune II—including a dangling picture frame attached to a harness she wore. This frame, hanging in front of her pretty yet imperious face—made her a living embodiment of Thrune’s Proclamation the Second. She was quite the hit…until the Chelish Citizens Group crashed the party. She used her bardic performance to inspire courage in those who dared stand against the CCH and dottari but was wise enough to flee once Nox and her hellhound were loosed upon the protesters.

More recently, Jessibel crept off alone to investigate the ruins of the Silver Star music shop, partly in the hopes of finding any clues to the fate of its proprietor, Shensen. Hearing a patrol nearing, the teen tried to hide in the ruins but triggered a small cave-in that dropped her into a forgotten chamber, knocking her unconscious. When she regained her senses, Jessi found herself lying across an old skeleton; nearby lay a dirt-encrusted rapier that, when cleaned, was revealed to be made of precious mithral! Jessi escaped and made her way home, newly obsessed with the marvelous lightweight metal.

Little did she know, however, that while she was unconscious, her body was possessed by the spirit of the skeleton, a junior member of the original Silver Ravens: a bard named Silverbelle. The spirit sensed a kindred spirit in the young noblewoman and began to nudge Jessi in her thoughts and dreams toward becoming a rare bard offshoot: A silver balladeer.

GM QUESTIONS

1) Where/how are you living in Kintargo? (Doesn't have to be a specific location, but it can. If not specific, what part of town at least.) Jessi would start out living in the Aulamaxa Villa in the Greens. Once she’s accepted into the Kintargo Opera House Society, she’d rent a small pad near its new headquarters, likely someplace close to the Kintargo Opera House in Jarvis End.
2) What do you do for a living? Sing! Dance! Entertain! Leech off my parents (see the Noble Stipend feat; Jessi would use her proceeds for the entrance fee and tuition, mostly).
3) Do you have any ties to the community, any locales you frequent, any groups you are/want to be a part of? Jessibel’s the baby of her branch of the Aulamaxa family; as such, she’s been able to get away with being supremely irresponsible. She’d like to join the displaced Kintargo Opera House Society.
4) If you take a drawback, why does your character have that drawback? Because deep down Jessibel wants to be thought of as more than a self-absorbed, irresponsible brat. And she generally loves what remains of her family.
5) Do you have any family/relationships in Kintargo? Mother (Leandra, who married into the Aulamaxa family), an older brother (Caeleb, who is responsible and helps manage the family’s finances), an older sister (ol’ Whats-her-name, who’s been married off and now lives in Westmarch, her grandmother (Archduchess Eldonna), and a few cousins. Her father, Lathan, is dead (perhaps murdered while on a business trip to Westmarch).
6) Why would a group of (so far) secretive rebels be interested in you joining their group? I’m friendly, diplomatic, and underhanded when I need to be. I’m a noblewoman, probably adored by most of my peers, and offer the Silver Ravens an ‘in’ to their social circles. I can sing and dance! I can cast a few spells. Even better—I can heal a bit and do that inspirational song thing that all the real warrior types love so much!

Silver Balladeer (Archetype) (Partial)
Alignment: Any Good
Pure Heart (Ex): At 2nd level, a silver balladeer gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against curses, hexes, and charm effects. This ability replaces well-versed.
Silver Mastery (Su): At 2nd level, a silver balladeer treats silver weapons as if they were also cold iron for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. Also, alchemical silver weapons do not impose a penalty on damage rolls when wielded by a silver balladeer, and a silver balladeer gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls made with mithral weapons. This ability replaces the 2nd-level versatile performance.

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.

questions:

1. She lives within the temple of Shelyn. It was they who took her in after she was discovered as a child on the outskirts of town.

2. She guards and helps with the temple of Shelyn, aids in their gatherings and proceedings, and frequently sings when possible. She also paints when she finds the time, however due to the martial law and utter oppression she has been unable to do either for awhile. She also has tried her hand at smiting, or, more aptly, etching and embroidering of armor.

3. She is closely tied to the church of Shelyn, and is well acquainted with many folk of the Opera and enjoyed their shows, or did. Until Barzillia all but closed it down and so was known within the Opera society.

4. Aria often can become lost in her thoughts, even walking around town, many times she has wandered past her destination due to becoming so lost in her own thoughts that she all but stops paying attention to things. While she isn't always lost in "sentimental" thoughts, I felt it was the best option to take to represent this. If you have a better fitting one, I'd be happy to look over it though!

5. No family, at least not blood family. She considers many in the church close to her, and while she loves the idea of love, she has never truly taken with a suitor, be it male or female. Though she often will at least accept and spend time with those that pursue her. She hasn't yet found one she feels "right" for her.

6. Well, they would gain closer ties to the church of Shelyn for one. Aria also has a level-headed mind, usually, has proven to be a natural leader of others, and is well respected by many of the cultured folk in town. She is a great mediator and diplomat, as proven when she managed to convince a couple of hellknights to not torture, or possibly kill, a poor man in the streets. She brings a kind perspective to things, and is defiantly no slouch with her Glaive or blade.

Timezone: EST, and this would be game 4 for me if selected, I've never played this AP so no meta-y type stuff to worry about haha. It looks fun though.

background for Aria:

Image of Aria

Aria was found on the outskirts of town near the hinterlands when she was but a young child hardly able to walk. By a cleric of Shelyn who had been wandering the countryside for inspiration. When she was found, she amazingly wasn't malnourished, and already had raven black hair to her shoulders. Her piercing red eyes were seen for the wonder they were. The cleric sought about her family, but found none, and so decided to take her in at the church. What other reason would he have found her for, for surely the child was blessed by Shelyn due to such beauty at a young age. The cleric, by name of Daren, would care for her like a father would his own child. Teaching her the values of Shelyn, and, against the will of some of the clergy, taught her the art of combat, particularly that of the glaive, his deity's favored weapon. As of now, Aria still believes herself to be a human, completely unaware yet of her divine heritage

As the years past, it became obvious that the child had indeed been blessed by Shelyn, for when she was a teenager, her beauty was unmatched by any within the church, and possibly within the city (though this was quite debatable depending on who did the talking). Not only was she beautiful however, but she had been blessed with a wondrous singing voice and she grew into a very humble attitude that has been tempered lately by a growing pride.

She loves all art, and is a prominent promoter of the idea that anything can be made an art, even the dreadful business of war and battle. And that should times demand such horrible actions, to do them as elegantly as possible. Though, her personal taste is favored more towards that of music and practical art. She finds the greatest joy in both hearing, and making music. To her, music is the most powerful form of art, able to evoke a plethora of emotions in people, even ones they try to hide or do away with, and even can affect some animals. She also sees music as the truest, if perhaps, simplest form of expression of ones soul. At least, when ones creates music that is influenced by their feelings at the moment. Even bad music can move a persons heart, as she has seen with many couples. Her second preferred art is making the mundane and practical beautiful. Such as embroidery on armor and weapons. It does not lessen the quality of the item, but gives it even more value for beauty it adds to it. Though, she does understand the beauty of simplicity as well.

She also goes to great lengths to master combat, treating it as both an art, and a way to defend the ideals and beautiful things shes holds dear in the world. Her favored weapon is the glaive, though she easily make use of a sword and shield as well. Every morning she spends time practicing with her glaive in a ritualistic way, more to ingrain the movements in her muscles, and to help her clear her head for the day, than anything else. Much how a monk may meditate while practicing their movements.

While Aria was deemed blessed by Shelyn, she is still young and even by her admission has much to learn in some respects. She holds some sway in the decisions of the church of Shelyn in Kintargo, particularly those involving her adoptive father Daren, but holds no real place power as of yet within its clergy.

Recently, her few feats have been that of deflating a dangerous situation involving two hellknights and a civilian, managing to convince the knights to spare the man death and torture. She also created a painting of minor renown within the art community depicting a beautiful rose that bled blood, symbolizing the beautiful city of Kintargo that is being drained of its life and beauty by the oppressive rule of Thrune. She has also, away from prying eyes, urged the church of Shelyn to consider doing something, making points that, at the present state hardly any true art could be created, and even less could seek to create. She even made the outrageous claim that the rule of this Barzillia was suspect, if not outright unjust in so doing. The clergy of Shelyn were not even allowed to express themselves with their clothes due to all fine clothing being outlawed for any save a select few, or those that pay exorbitant sums of gold. The clergy, particularly Daren, have warned her to keep such thoughts to herself and close members of the clergy. However she is finding it ever harder to do so, not only in respect for the arts, but for the people of the town. She feels a rebellion may be close, their is a stiffness to the air and a hanging sense of dread. The thought of so many lives lost troubles her, she hopes a peaceful solution can be found before that happens that both keeps blood from being shed, and brings life and beauty back into the city. Though, if there is nothing that can be done to stop bloodshed, Aria has already made up her mind which side of that battle she would stand on.

Personality: Aria is contemplative most of the time, however this doesn't stop her bubbly nature from overflowing often. She is kind and caring to most everyone, always trying to bring cheer to folk. She has a tendency to easily get lost in thought, even at very inappropriate times. She can come off cold at first due to this and her piercing red eyes, however, any conversation with her quickly removes any thoughts of that sort as her friendly nature comes out quickly. She always looks for the best in people, sometimes to her own detriment (often times overlooking obvious flaws, particularly in those that seek her affections). Though, she does sometimes indulge in a bit of fun due to the cool demeanor that many seem to get from her. Acting the part of a cold, if almost abrasive, woman. Over time, this too, has turned into a sort of Art for her.

Appearance: Aria is of athletic build, and much more muscled and toned than an average woman. She isn't particularly tall, but she is mildly taller than the average human female. She has pitch black hair, a soft, pale complexion, and the only thing that would even hint at an angelic ancestry would be her red eyes, and sheer beauty.

Mythweavers character sheet for Aria

I'm still purchasing items for her to start with, but its mostly finished. As for her adoptive father's rank in the clergy of the church of Shelyn, you can make that whatever you wish.

Silver Crusade

I have this character (ranged inquisitor, who can face) who played through book #1, but book #2 never happened. I would LOVE for the opportunity to move forward on the story line if you were looking for someone after book #1.

they see the ugliness in evil, even when cloaked in the form of beauty, and their job is to prevent the weak and foolish from being seduced by false promises. Their tenets include:

-I am peaceful. I come first with a rose. I act to prevent conflict before it blossoms.
-I never strike first, unless it is the only way to protect the innocent.
-I accept surrender if my opponent can be redeemed and I never assume that they cannot be. All things that live love beauty, and I will show beauty's answer to them.
-I will never destroy a work of art, nor allow one to come to harm unless greater art arises from its loss. I will only sacrifice art if doing so allows me to save a life, for untold beauty can arise from an awakened soul.
-I see beauty in others. As a rough stone hides a diamond, a drab face may hide the heart of a saint.
-I lead by example, not with my blade. Where my blade passes, a life is cut short, and the world's potential for beauty is lessened.
-I live my life as art. I will choose an art and perfect it. When I have mastered it, I will choose another. The works I leave behind make life richer for those who follow.

Followers of Shelyn are also excepted to see the good/beauty in people even when they themselves cannot see it, and I personally I'm excited for the potential this entails.

So I found an archetype that definitely appeals, but it might be somewhat controversial. I'd like to choose the Argent Voice Archetype, from the Adventurer's Guide.

GM Dak:

I'm thinking that maybe he has half-remembered parts of the Song of Silver, which give him those powers, if you're fine with that. I'll go into more detail in his backstory if you are okay with it.

Silver Crusade

If being lawful is too much of a hindrance for the group (and the other aspects having a paladin brings) I've got an idea for a cleric of milani or sarenrea, that would go for dissident of dawn Prc. Would prefer to play the paladin, but I understand how difficult it can make things having a paladin, both RP wise and mechanically. So I wanted to ask the players if they are willing to play with/put up with a paladin.

@The Second One I'm ok with the Archetype and with your backstory having some knowledge of the Song, but as you noted it would only be pieces and you wouldn't really know anything about the Song itself, just the effects of the pieces you've learned.

@Rorek55 I don't think a Paladin is an issue as long as they are Lawful Good and not Lawful Stupid. I.e. from the perspective of you being a rebel because you find the current regime unlawful so you are not concerned about following the laws of this unlawful regime, but more the rightful laws of the land like not murdering non-evil people, etc.

Right, that's the plan.

Silver Crusade

that should be fine then.

Liberty's Edge

Okay, I think I'll bite on this one. I've been part of a number of campaigns here that fizzle out after a few months, so the fact that this is re-recruiting and still going is interesting to me.

I'll submit Egil Forkbeard, my Ulfen Skald.

I do have 1 level of Bloodrager, but all the rest of the levels will be Skald. Though he isn't currently the best party face, by next level I receive Versatile Performance, which ties my Diplomacy with my Perform (Oratory) skill (already at +7 and will stay maxed).

The focus of the character is on buffs, skills, and should be able to help with versatility. I think I've answered most of the questions you asked in my Background section of my character sheet, but any of the story is open for expanding or changing to fit the campaign.

I did put an 8 in Wisdom. Honestly, the Skald is so MAD that I would ask for an exception to having no attribute less than 10. I think reducing any of my other scores would adversely affect the character, and no score is higher than 16.

I'm in the Mountain time zone, and am part of a couple of other long-term adventure paths (I have over 18,000 posts on the boards over probably 5 years). Thanks for the consideration.

I'd like to present my investigator Lazur Anil for this campaign.

I am in the Eastern Time zone and typically post before 9 am or after work in the evening.

@Everyone I'm going to go ahead and close this early. I found someone who had been playing in a Hell's Rebels previously and their background fit in really well with things.

However, there were some other great submissions, so if I have any future drops be sure to keep an eye on your PMs as I'll reach out to people who applied here first before I look elsewhere.
