@ Joy - Yes, he's taunting. I smell a railroading, petty, "what can I do to tick off and berrate my player" GM. I'm getting less excited about this game. BUT! I will stick it out for now in hopes that it gets better.
@ Joy's head - Shut up and calm down! Joy's got s&%* to do, and we don't have time for your drama! Be gone!

That's fine. I wasn't looking for them anyway. Plus, you know, Fewer witnesses. ;-)
I'm fine with OCD, picky GMs, but don't deal with the "I know stuff you don't know" types who like to taunt. Hopefully he'll get better. I also want to know what's up with us starting out in a haunted courthouse? Did I misread the game thread or are we not playing in a Rise of the Runelord AP, where you start out at the Festival in Sandpoint?
A complete noob. I am having serious doubts about that game. I just can't seem to find any AP that lasts past the first chapter. They always seem to fall apart.
I'm guessing this guy is a lonely fat man in his early 20's who has never had his neanderthal world-view questioned by anyone with an IQ higher than the sheep he shags at night...

Actually, that may have been a bit harsh. However, he is very single minded. His style is "agree with me or be wrong." I'm just irritated because I didn't know before hand and I have a hard time giving up once I've commited to something.

I relate. I have another game that's basically being ruined by a single douchenozzle.

Hey, I'M a lonely fat man in his late 20's who has never had his neanderthal world-view question by anyone with an IQ higher than the.... wait a second.....
I am sorry to say it folks, but I think it is time to say goodbye to Bryce. It's been over a week since his last post and he's been struggling to keep up as it is.
I need a vote: drop him and continue with the rest of you, or replace him?
Honestly I had to scroll back to remember who Bryce was. I understand that real life comes first, but if he's not going to play I support replacing him. No hard feelings, but it is what it is.
As far as replacement player, I'm open to suggestions.
Fighter types are always good. Though a skill monkey or traditional blaster would be cool too. I (meaning Owen and I) are more of a hybrid. He's melee and I cast a little.
I really, really liked Bryce's character and his player seemed to play him most excellently, but, as Cecil says...playing means showing up. So I'm afraid I have to agree about replacing him.
As indicated in my email, DSP, I know a guy interested in playing. He has lots of RP experience and PF experience but no PBP experience. No biggie if he wouldn't be a good fit, just thought I'd toss it out there.
He's a good guy; funny quick. He can play whatever. I can ask him for preferences, but he's the kind that really likes a bit of everything. His job is computer-based and he's very linked-in at home, so he can post pretty frequently, I think.
Now that you mention it I have a friend who expressed interest in getting involved with a PBP. He's a veteran Roleplayer with heavy experience with D&D (whitewolf stuff too, but who cares? lol). He's new to Pathfinder, but i think he'll be able to post alot. He's a social work supervisor in New Orleans. For those of you who don't know NOLA is fun to visit, but not so much to live.
I've known him since college and he always comes up with intriguing ideas. I'm sure he'd be open to play whatever, but the brief tabletop game I played with him he played a water elemental sorcerer. I let him learn Cold version of spells (like fireball) which he used to fun and amusing effect.
Anyway if you're interested I can help to get him up to speed. His name is John.
DSP, send him an email asking if it's alright. It should be on the google docs thing we have set up. Honestly I'd hate to replace him, he's a *really* solid player and character both, but at the same time we could definitely use the help of another player. In my opinion, a ranged character with a solid focus in social skills, too. If that's too specific, then eat my poo.
Since we have two friends interested, I think I will open recruitment and have them both post there. Just don't tell me who is who and it'll be a fair choice based on merit and potential.
Have interested parties apply there. Let me know when your friends have submitted application, but don't tell me who is who. We'll take as long as we need to get the right person in here. It's not like y'all are short handed...
Shinami does have flat crackers that taste like they've been touched with honey and some weird melty substance that's dark brown and made from some exotic bean he's heard of called "cocoa" which he got while at the Monasteries.
