Dwarven comedian. I'll need to fix up his stat block as he is actually level 9.
And no surprises... dwarven comedian, not exactly super optimised.
Jillia Tennille, swordswoman, street poet, revolutionary, activist, rapper. Jumps high, runs far, shanks a fool every now and then. Walks to a beat, lapses into rhyme, offers four-foor-three-inch high fives to anyone deserving. Has a flag with the Glyph of the Open Road affixed to her back when being on the down-low isn't priority #1. Wants to overthrow the entire Chelaxian government. Pronounces her own name sixteen different ways in an effort to rhyme it differently.
You know, standard halfling.
Much like above, I will need to update the statblock in my profile and tagline.
Andrietta Ebonfeather, Grandmother tengu follower of Grandmother Crow (Andoletta), offers firm whacks to the head with her quarterstaff if folks are being foolish -- including herself -- and kinda glows with an inherent kinda curmudgeonly grandmotherly goodness.
She makes insanely strong tea every morning to share with the team (and anyone else that cares to partake) and throws an 'iced treat social' before the start of extended missions. Firm believer that a team on the road is her family. Older than dirt.
Andrietta is a Paladin of Andoletta. Statblock will need updating.
Celie here, She focuses on crowd control and some offensive spells and abilities. She is up to date and ready... (Actually I need to update her currency on how much she made at her last game and look into purchases... I'll get that done today.)
BTW, s I have both played and GMed this in Core, while Rhuul is a face and talky type character, I'll try to avoid making any suggestions on major decisions we might have to do. Unless like, it is totally what Rhuul would do. (of course we'll go to Stand-up night instead of attend the 18 hour Elvish opera).
Might I humbly suggest that having seen when things have ground to a halt in other PbP and in real-space tables due to such a polite deference, that instead of simply avoiding, just base it on the interactions of the party and what information you've gained in-play?
...been a part of several tables that have nearly and/or completely collapsed because everyone was deferring to the folks that hadn't played a given scenario and said folks didn't have the right knowledge skills at high enough level..
Yeah, I can separate out what I know vs what Rhuul knows, but it is also about giving others the chance to enjoy things without prior knowledge.
I don't have my chronicles handy at work, so there might be an outstanding purchase, but if not, my profile has my most up-to-date character sheet.
Lissa Villasani, reporting in. Varisian wanderer and troublemaker, with a penchant of drenching foes as she fights them in close quarters.
My local group is running Forged in Flame, Part 2 on the 1st, and I've been very eager to run Lissa through that. That will also level her to 8 too.
Okay, I've updated my sheet.
Rhuul will also buy a banner of the ancient kings. (18,000gp, ouch)
With that his flagbearer goes up to +2 to hit and damage, and his inspire courage up to +3/+3 for a nice total of +5 to hit and +5 to damage.
Rhuul's jokes are so funny they hurt.
Hi, sorry I'm a little late checking in. Had an experiment running, you know how it is, leave them unsupervised and you're likely to come back to a blown-up laboratory! Johann Erlenmeyer here! I'll make sure all my vital statistics are up to date within a couple days.
No worry Johann. I'm extremely busy right now. Just finished a successful Kickstarter for my first card game and am setting up printers, warehouses and getting everything ready for shipment... .Pain in the behind.
What date is this technically starting? I have an opportunity to play this character in a face-to-face game on October 7th, but I want to know if I should play someone else instead?
How strict is the posting time around then? I might not be able to post that often from 10/11-18. Going to Kyoto with my family... While I can post on the train and at the hotel, don't know how much content my posts will have.
Good to know! I would ask that you set up botting instructions (they don't have to be an entirely complete if/then chart or anything, but at least guidelines of behavior will really help out).
During that time, you should of course post whenever you would like, but I'll just bot you if you'd be the last person to act.
Does that work for you?
That would... actually be detrimental for my character build... Right away, my character tries to put the opponent to sleep. I would like that to be an automatic action if I'm not available... Then delay until the end is okay.
But, It can work.
I'll be running initiative in blocks, so my plan wouldn't be to delay you, but also not to step in and bot you until everyone else at that initiative has gone, to make sure you still get to post when you are available. So no monsters will go in between when you could have posted if you were available and when I bot you.
Ok, Lissa is updated and ready to go for this.
Your table starts with one of the aid tokens, which your GM will explain. Please make sure to pass the token before finishing the first encounter. The quicker we pass them, the more times they will get used, and the better off all of the tables will be.
@Table GMs: The rules for aid tokens are on page 5.
Okay guys we are a go!
Go ahead and introduce yourselves - after all the Torchbearing is a time of coming together as Pathfinders, when surely nothing will go wrong...
But if something were to go awry, you know you'd have the support of your fellow agents. While you have an aid token you can use it for one of these effects before passing it along to another table, possibly boosted!
Allied Offensive: A Pathfinder agent strikes a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack by 2d8 points. In addition, after the attack, anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn.
To Boost (when passed to another table): Succeed at an attack roll against AC 23
Boosted Effect: +1d8 points of damage.
Burst of Healing: A Pathfinder agent heals all of the PCs of 3d6 points of damage.
To Boost: Expend one use of channel positive energy or cast one spell with the healing descriptor of 4th level or higher. A PC must cast this spell, not simply activate a wand or scroll.
Boosted Effect: +2d6 points of damage healed.
Timely Inspiration: A Pathfinder agent provides the effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance for 3 rounds. The competence bonus is +2.
To Boost: Expend 3 rounds of bardic performance or similar ability. Boosted Effect: Increase the competence bonus by 1.
Provide Knowledge (must be boosted): Gain the benefits of a Knowledge skill check or Spellcraft skill check used to identify a magical item; the type and difficulty (Easy, Average or Hard) depend on the table granting the benefit.
Succeed at a Knowledge check of your choice, the result of the check (Easy, Average or Hard) should be noted on the Aid Token.
Provide Spellcasting (must be boosted): Gain the benefits of a beneficial spell cast by an ally as listed on the Aid Token.
To Boost: Cast one of the following spells and note your PC’s name and caster level on the Aid Token: lesser restoration, neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease.
Only these spells may be granted. Expending resources that produce the effects of these spells, such as a paladin’s mercy class feature, may also grant these benefits.
Oh and please provide the following:
1. Player/Forum Name
2. Character's Name
3. Class and Level
4. PFS# (and dash)
6. Day job Roll (if any)
And I'd appreciate a heads up about anything wacky with your character, especially if you have any Immediate Actions that we should work out/are playing slow progression etc. (e.g. Celie's botting for when Slumber's an inappropriate response)
1. Player: Zack Ringler / Forum Name: Amsheagar
2. Character Name: Celie
3. Class and Level: Abosultoy no class... I mean Witch. 7
5. I forget... it's been changed since the first game and i didn't keep up with the new factions... Was Osirion... i think.
6.Day Job Smith: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Celie has Accursed Hex feat, means that even if a creature resists my first hex, i can hex him again with the same one.
I'll go with Scarab Sages (Osirion) unless I hear otherwise then (though the faction symbol by your character shows Sovereign Court/Taldor).
If you check out Celie's sessions under "My Pathfinder Society" up at the top of the page you should be able to confirm if you'd like to pull up the official answer.
1. Player Name:Garon Niehaus /Forum Name: Blue Moose
2. Character's Name: Lissa Villasani
3. Class and Level: Kineticist 8
4. PFS# (and dash): 153161-1
5. Faction: Liberty's Edge
6. Day job Roll :Profession(Fortune-teller): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Lissa's movement speed in combat is variable. Due to the Waterdancer wild talent, she always has the spell slipstream active on her. As such, on flat ground, she can move 40 feet a move action, but 30 feet going uphill, and 50 feet going downhill. So, mentioning height changes is sorta important. Likewise, Lissa has disguise self at will as well, for however long I need to hold the disguise.

2. Character's Name: Andrietta Ebonfeather
3. Class and Level: Paladin 7
4. PFS# (and dash): 145296-6
5. Faction: Silver Crusade
6. Day Job Roll: (Farm Vanity)Handle Animal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Andrietta has the Farm Vanity (see Day Job roll above), Quarterstaff Mastery (allows 1H use of quarterstaff) Hers is Darkwood as a consideration for weight and durability, versus the traditional willow-wood walking stick.
She can grow wings once per day for seven minutes, Fly speed 30', average maneuverability
Languages Known: Abyssal, Common, Draconic, Infernal, Orc, Senzar, Sylvan, Tengu, Terran, Thassilonian, Tien, Varisian
Mercies: Diseased, Fatigued. Acts as Remove Disease as L7 Caster, removes fatigue during use of Lay on Hands
Oh! I forgot something important. Lissa doesn't threaten all the time. In fact, the only time she threatens is during rounds that she uses Kinetic Whip. (Using it may be frequent occurrence though)
Sorry if I'm being frustrating about how Kineticist works, but most of the local GM's haven't seriously looked at the class, so they don't fully know how it works.

6. Day job Roll (if any) Perform: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 The real reward is in the change you make, not the change you earn...
Jillia runs fast for a halfling (40ft) and jumps abnormally well (+27 to jump).
Unless the situation calls for subtlety, (which will bother her, but that's neither here nor there), Jillia wears a banner on her back with the Gylph of the Open Road on it. Allies within 60ft of her recieve a +2 morale bonus on saving throws against fear and a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls as part of a charge action.
Jillia can make a free grapple or sunder check (no AoOpps) against the target of her challenge whenever she takes the full attack action. (Order of the Hammer) Morevoer, has a few feats/traits that boost maneuvers: Improved/Greater Overrun, Dirty Fighting, Flying Tackle, Equality for All, Coordinated Maneuvers (Does anyone else have teamwork feats?)
1/day automatic feather fall if falling more than 5 feet (Talisman of Beneficial Winds)
1/day when failing a saving throw that would entangle/paralyze/slow receive a second save (Triskelion Talisman)
Once per scenario, if I have not yet used it for myself, I can offer my GM reroll to another player (5 stars included). (Student of Swords GM reward chronicle)
Rhuul wields a banner of the ancient kings, and is a registered Pathfidner flag bearer. That gives everyone a standard +2 to hit, damage and on saves vs fear and charm. Also a morale bonus, so won't stack with Jilla's :-( When
Why not do both? That way we not only have overlap, but protection in case one or the other gets taken down?
No reason at all. I like both. Just making sure everyone knew the type of bonus so we don't double count. Rhuul ends up stacking a lot of bonuses on folk with inspire courage and spell buffs, so I have to be a little careful at times. Banner of the ancient kings also grants a +2 resistance bonus on all saving throws against mind-affecting effects. Which nicely stacks with the flagbearer morale bonus. But if he goes into melee, that bonus will go away as he needs two hands on it.
In the arena of rerolls and such, I have a GM reroll available, improved great fortitude (reroll a fort save) and the banner lets me reroll saves against mind affecting spells every round - so long as he holds it in two hands.
Running late for work, Andrietta is going to move up to protect party members, fighting defensively with all the buffs to get the thing off our Comedian.
BTW, I'll be at Paizocon Oz from Thursday until the following Tuesday. Please bot Rhuul as required. Typically he'll do an inspire courage (he has rounds to burn these days) and some buff or other. If folk are damaged, he has a lot of options in healing spells.
Attacking in HTH is pretty much his lowest priority, but he is happy to do that if nothing else makes sense. Preferably he'd at least try to move into a flanking position to give someone an extra +2 to hit from that.
Not that he is exactly a lazy dwarf...
Have fun at PaizoCon Oz! If I could afford it and wasn't terrified to death of the bugs eating me I'd figure out some way to go!
Oh, no, that's not lazy, that's an efficient bard that's sitting at 'done all the important things and now looking for "fun" stuff to do' phase. I have a bard that's at 11.2 who pretty much does the same thing, but with condition removal instead of as much healing.
We don't have the nasty bugs and spiders that Aussie does. It is in New Zealand this year.
How do you get condition removal on a bard? Restoration type stuff is the big ticket item he lacks.
Okay, he can do stone to flesh with the stonyface masterwork - but that is pretty specific.
Not sure when Andrietta is going to be able to move, and really can't post until the situation 'gels' a bit more.
Blue path is ideal path, using fighting Defensively.
Red path is the 'Garmin rerouting', double standard Move.
Pink is subsequent turn, haste or no haste if all goes well with the rerouting. at least two rounds of movement without haste and not having to bash down/unlock doors.
All are non-Hasted movement.
I could get used to having a murder!bard around. This is nice.
