Special things to know about Sargon:
There are too many things for me to think of right now, but I will start with the list below.
Sargon is an arcanist and as such has several exploits that allow him unusual flexibility through the use of points from his Arcane Reservoir.
He can increase the Save DC or CLvsSR of his spells by 2 with 1 point
He can summon as a standard action that lasts 1min/lvl for points=to the level of the summoning spell.
He can dimensional slide up to 90'feet by spending 5' of movement that doesn't provoke AoOs for 1 point
He can swap out a prepared spell by taking a full round action(that does provoke) and spending a point.
He can swap a expend a spell to gain an equal number of AR points back 1 time per day.
He is considered a 10th level wizard for the Admixture(evocation) School powers
From the Admixture School
He can change the elemental energy of any evocation spell he casts to another, 11x/day
He adds 5 points of damage to every evocation spell he casts(this damage is not subject to metamagic like Empower)
He can emit an aura that changes any elemental energy attacks into an elemental energy of his choosing. He can do this 10 rounds/day. Typically he will uses this to tailor any incoming damage to match any resistances and/or protections the party has up.
From items:
Sargon's Arcane Bond is a necklace of adaptation, letting him sit in the middle of a cloudkill or survive in a vacuum.
He has a goz mask, for when he has to see through a cloudkill or other obscuring fog like environmental effect.
He has a lesser rod of Selective Spell that allows him to exclude 9 targets in the area of any instantaneous spells he casts(3/day) on the rare occasions when he has friends in the area he needs to blast.
He also has a lesser rod of empower for when he has a clear shot to blast.
He often will use Investigative Mind together with Heightened Awareness, allowing him to roll twice on knowledge checks and with the small bonus from HA. HA also comes in handy when he needs to go first for the +4 he can get by ending it.
Which rod will you typically have out in a dungeon crawl setting?
Also, would you like me to assume that you'll be using Heightened Awareness for the initiative boost whenever it's up? If not, what situations would you like to trigger it?
The Professor will have blood-boiling pill, dex mutagen, and heighten awareness up a lot. I will do my best to gives plenty of heads up. If HA is up he will always activate it before combat for simplicity sake.
He will always have a potion of reduce person in hand rolling it around as a nervous tick.

Sargon will typically have the Selective Spell rod out in a setting with restrictive space unless I say otherwise in game play.
Normally he will hold off using the initiative boost from HA and instead keep it for the skill rolls to make sure we know as much as we can about any foe we face or challenge we encounter. If we are making the knowledge checks easily, or if the group has a specific plan where he really needs to get a spell off first in a combat, then he will us the boost.

As a note, don't feel too bad if you include Obsidian in an AoE. With his decent enough Reflex save combined with his resistances and high HP, I don't think it is worth a use of your Selective rod.

Thanks! I will keep it in mind. My fireball DC is normally 23, but I often bump it to 25 to make sure it lands. I doubt it would even put a dent in you though so no worries.

Nice to know. Solstice does not do selective, and can do a 12d6 fireball, so is this a PC go-ahead to blast him with the baddies? Though normally her init is high enough or the battlefield set up so that she rarely has that dilemma.
The Professor will have a 20 ref for most the the game so should also be OK if he has to take a fireball.
He also auto sickens on a hit, and leaves enemies shaken on a crit (averages more than a crit a round hasted) if you want to wait for the debuff. Likely more relavent for non blasting spells.

Sadly, Obsidian cannot be enlarged as he is not a person. He also does not gain very much from haste, so if I'm not in range or something don't fret too much. This may seem odd, but please try to keep a metal item of any kind on your person. It will give me the ability to maneuver you should the need arise. I can stone shape at will (yeah, earth kineticists are silly) so if you want cover during a long fight just holler. Can't think of anything else.
This scenario is very cool but, because of things and I am replaying, during 'encounters' please give me direction as to what you want me to do. (i.e. protect us, deal damage, etc...) I apologize if this seems tedious, but I do not want to influence the outcome (decision-wise) to any major degree.

Sargon has a thick cloth cestus that is reinforced with metal plates over the fingers. Will that be enough metal for Ob to move him? I am getting a mental image of some cool magnetic effect yanking Sargon across a room by his hand right now, and I can't help but laugh.

My special summons can be up to summon monster V and they last for 9 minutes. If it turns out I need to switch the creature type it can come in handy, but I also use it versus enemy spell casters that summon on occasion. I can always take a round and swap it out if we need it, but I think for now I will run with glitter dust instead.

Prof and Solstice, should I assume you guys are popping Heightened Awareness every fight, or do you have a different triggering condition you'd prefer?

Ah! So the sphinx is Saruna. She was described as a large creature in funereal garb with the body of a lion, the wings of a falcon, and the head and torso of a withered but once beautiful human woman. That did not shout sphinx to me but now I understand. I thought the sphinx was in the 'true library'.

It just occurred to me that these statues might not be usable every round. Does Solstice know whether she will be able to use the breath of life ability every round? I was going to have her sit there and heal folks up, but that may not be possible.
Could someone make a decent knowledge roll on this thing so we do not have to waste more attacks vs. immunities on it?

I'd like to see if one of the PCs can do a knowledge roll and find out its immunties. I want to cast a greater aggressive thundercloud but what would be the point if it is immune!
