"Good enough then. Lead on."
Shall we see what those undead elves were guarding?
The party returns to the room where they found the undead creatures that almost killed Radavek. The decaying corpses are beginning to smell even worse without the dark energies animating them.
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
Radavek observes, "They're going to need a clean up crew down here."
He squares up to the door. "Let's see what's in here then." Sword and torch in hand he advances into the new room.
Is the first torch used up?
Ravin renews the light spell on the pebble in his hand, ready to close his hand around it.. or throw the stone.. as needed.
Jonnie follows, never moving past the paladin for any reason. She learned her lesson.
The room that the undead creatures were in appears to be empty.
Ravin wonders aloud, "Did that mean this tomb has already been robbed? Or do we think it'd always been empty?"
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
"There's probably another secret door. These people are mad about them."
Search.

"Or we could just look past this door here. Torrosk moves to the door to the southeast.
Radavek's search finds nothing and the rest of the group seems uninterested in helping him. Torrosk moves to the door.

Sword and torch in hand. Radavek is ready.
Ravin nods, rapier in hand.

Viniana stays towards the back of the group this time and has her glaive ready, "Let's go then."
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
Torrosk opens the door, readying for anything behind it.
Sorry, I'm confused. Looking at the map, which door are we opening?
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
The one to the east. Because of the goofy FOW in Roll20, I'm not sure if we've been that way or not. Torrosk is right in front of it.
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
That's the way we came in. Looks like this is a dead end. I suggest we go back to the room at the bottom of the stairs and try the secret door to the north.
Please place the characters at the right spot on the map with Torrosk facing the correct door.
Currently the party has explored the room(s) that they are in, Radavek briefly explore the room to the north where the fast zombies were, but no one else has entered. The party has fully explored the rooms to the east of Torrosk, the room with the spiral staircase and looked into the room through the northern secret door.
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
Crellan, can you light up the rooms that we've explored until we get repositioned? I daren't move for fear of leaving everyone in the dark.
Done... there are no torches, ignore them.
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
Torrosk moves into the room where the fast zombies came out of, and will begin searching for a secret door.
Take 20 on search for a perception roll of....20

Viniana moves into the room as well and looks for hidden doors and such as well.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
With Torrosk taking 20, I will allow others to aid another and accept Viniana's roll as being that. Anyone else?
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
Sure why not.

Torrosk, with the aid of his companions, finds a secret door in the northern wall with an identical opening mechanism as the one found in the southern wall. Additionally, there is a trap door in the floor. Oddly, even once the door is found the dust that was hiding it moves back into place again obscuring the door.
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
Torrosk's lips curl as a deep growl comes from his chest, "Something odd about this. Needs magical inspection." Torrosk will move aside to let those more adept with magic to take a look.
Jonnie casts detect magic and looks carefully at the area.
Jonhilda detects a faint aura of transmutation.
Ravin suggests, "Can we put something heavy on the trapdoor and then check the side door? I don't like the idea of having things able to sneak up behind us. "
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
"Someone covered their tracks with magic dust."
"Be on alert. Should I enlarge someone first?"
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
Radavek draws his scimitar. "Let Viniana stand on the trap door while we try the other. Her glaive can still be of use then and she'll know if anything issues from the depths."
At Jonhilda's question, the Varisian's gaze slides from the elf to the half-orc followed by a slight nod. "Ask Torrosk. He's the better warrior against these walking dead."
female human cleric of Shelyn 1 | Hp 10/10 | AC 14 (), TAC 12, FF 12 () | F +1, Ref +2, Will +5 | Peception +3 Channel Energy 1d6 (dc 12) (5/5) | Dazing Touch (6/6) | Touch of Good (6/6)
Whoops, meant to post yesterday and got side tracked, sorry.
"That seems like a wise plan to me Radavek." She over over to the trap door and stands on it, her glaive ready.
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
"Hold off on the enlarge for now. We don't know what we're facing yet." He looks at Viniana "Make sure that's a trapdoor that opens up into the room. It would be a shame to lose you to someone opening the door and having it drop you."
Torrosk will wait to see Viniana check it first, before opening the secret door.
female human cleric of Shelyn 1 | Hp 10/10 | AC 14 (), TAC 12, FF 12 () | F +1, Ref +2, Will +5 | Peception +3 Channel Energy 1d6 (dc 12) (5/5) | Dazing Touch (6/6) | Touch of Good (6/6)
"A good idea." Viniana examines the door in an attempt to figure out whether it hinges up or down.
Not sure what I should roll for that.
The door hinges to open upward
Opening the door to the north, the party sees an apparently empty room. There is a door in the north wall.
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
Torrosk moves up to the next door, and motions for the others to come a bit closer. Empty. Another door
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
Radavek follows Torrosk, ready to support the half-orc if a fight lies beyond the door.
female human cleric of Shelyn 1 | Hp 10/10 | AC 14 (), TAC 12, FF 12 () | F +1, Ref +2, Will +5 | Peception +3 Channel Energy 1d6 (dc 12) (5/5) | Dazing Touch (6/6) | Touch of Good (6/6)
Maintaining her position in the group Viniana follows along as well.
Ravin offers, "No news is good news?" as he follows to the next door.
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
Torrosk opens the door to the next room.
Torrosk opens the door revealing what appears to be a storage room, though it is empty except some armor and weapons. The party finds a war hammer, a breastplate, a morning star, a suit of scale mail, and a fine-looking large steel shield that appears to be of an older style. You stand in the southern doorway and a second door leads to the east.
Jonnie scans the treasures for magic before continuing.
"We found something of value. Hopefully some magical trinkets are here too."
Ravin says, "The weapons are too big for me, but might be helpful against other skeletons."
Male Human (Varisian); Percept 3, Sense Motive -1; AC 20 T 13 FF 17; F 5, R 2, W -1; HP 28/28
Radavek smiles. He pats his curved sword. "My uncle's gift is keen, but it skips along skeletons' bones. You're right, Ravin, something to crush them to dust might be handy."
The young Varisian bravo steps forward to examine the weapons and the shield and breastplate.
Good loot for a fighter-type here. I've got my eye on either the morning star or the warhammer. Possibly the shield and breastplate, even the scale mail. Who else can use an upgrade?
female human cleric of Shelyn 1 | Hp 10/10 | AC 14 (), TAC 12, FF 12 () | F +1, Ref +2, Will +5 | Peception +3 Channel Energy 1d6 (dc 12) (5/5) | Dazing Touch (6/6) | Touch of Good (6/6)
Viniana looks over the equipment, "I'm afraid I'm not that good with most of it, I'm not strong enough to use the armor, but the morningstar could be useful if I need to try and hit something when there's no room for my glaive."
Male 1/2 Orc Paladin (Undead Scourge)/2 AC:20 | HP: 15/23 | Init +4 | Perc +0 | F: +5 R:+3 W:+3 (+3 against divine spellcasting)
Torrosk gives a particularly toothy (tusky?) grin and pats the Heavy flail that is strapped to his body. "This does just fine against bones. Flesh and innards too. The shield is really the only thing that may help me. He picks up the morningstar and tests its heft, and hands it to Viniana, It's weighted well. I'll do my best to make sure you never have to get your hands dirty with it.
