Grigori Yefimovich |
"I am ready as well." Along the way, "I wouldn't mind taking a peek into the crypt of preserved corpses again." Hastily, he adds, "To admire the skill, of course... I would like to learn what I can and improve my own skill as a mortician."
Valandil Anwamanë |
Valandil shrugs. "Work before pleasure."
He slips into his place in the team deployment, already going over in his mind the minor enchantment that he hopes to kill the mold with.
I'm skipping ahead
Once at the door, he asks "Do you want to see if the traps has been reset?"
He casts detect magic again
Pitbull |
"Check the trap, then we smash the moldy!"
Garox |
Garox takes 20 for a 29 to see if the trap is still there.

Valandil Anwamanë |
"Like this.."
Valandil stands at the entrance to the room and takes aim at the mold.
A ray of frost springs from his hand and starts to trace across the mold
Casts ray of frost, happy to keep casting it again and again. The range should make it able to be used from outside the cold of the mold, allowing him to purge it from afar. That is his intent anyway...
Valandil Anwamanë |
Valandil enters the crypt and looks around.
perception: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Valandil Anwamanë |
Valandil looks at the vials with his enchanted sight.
Casts detect magic. Takes ten on spellcraft for a result of 22 (with guidance) to try and identify
Pitbull |
Pitbull appears well pleased with the progress.
"Next door?"
Valandil Anwamanë |
"Certainly. We must have just about done them all by now. How many have we yet to check?"
His mind seems to be a bit afuzz, with the new spells and success against the mold.
GM Crash |
Going to the last crypt in the cathedral, the statue in front looks like a tall man with gems set in his forehead, wielding a flaming glaive.
You have identified this statue as Karzoug, Runelord of Greed.
Walking through the door Garox sees a trap set into the ceiling above the corner into the crypt.
Garox Fang |
Garox |
ok going to. Adding guidance and aid bonusses. Breaking out his kit, Garox goes to work on the trap.

Grigori gives the previous room a once over as well before carrying on.
The priest privately laments not having made more time for book study as he follows behind the trap disabling duo.

Perception vs DC 10: 10 + 3 = 13
Valandil Anwamanë |
Val peers past the trapmasters and into the crypt.
GM Crash |
Valandil sees that the crypt looks like a normal crypt. Moving into it and searching it he finds 50 gp worth of grave goods.
Heading out the door, he sees a rune above the door.
That is all the crypts here. Where would you like to go next?
Valandil Anwamanë |
Taking ten on the know-arcana gives the result, which he shares with the group
"I think we should explore to the end of that long corridor we came down."
the '23' on the top
"We should probably have looked at those other rooms near the library when we rested, we'll have to remember to do that on the way out, or if we spend another night in here. I'm not keen on going past that big pit any more often than necessary."
Aslo, are there cross corridors at the "11" it is hard to make out on the map.
Pitbull |
I agree Valandil, I reckon its time to clean up the dungeon, Lets get the area adjacent 16/17 clear, and then push down toward the exit and 23 to get this side of the crypt clear, then go to the area adjacent 13/19, and then clear back towards theentrance and clear out that side.
Pitbull grunts, "This way" and heads back up the stairs quickly.
Garox |
"Well we destroyed the creature from the pit so I guess its safe."
