Mutahir winces and let's the power of the infernal magic flow through him, healing him some. After a moment, he sighs deeply and pulls out some potions.

Kel, Riptide, would one you perhaps mind giving me a few more raps with that wand of yours? I can use my potions, but they are a fair bit more expensive and I'd rather save them for emergencies.

He looks at the slowly recovering victims and the dead man. He bows his head for a moment.

I hope you find peace in whatever world you find yourself serving in comrade. Perhaps someday, you may find your way to the boneyard.

He cleans his blade of the sinspawn blood and slides it back into it sheath before looking at the survivors.

We can escort you back to the surface, but is their anything you can tell us that might aid us in this quest?

Definitely picking up one of those wands after this adventure, never even thought of it since it's explicitly a arcane spell it wouldn't be weird and out of character for Mutahir to carry it.

She then stands to assist Riptide with the body recovery process. “Another Pathfinder to be added to the Wall of Names, brothers and sister. I pray there be no more on this mission.”

You guys are able to revive and heal the two excavators, they were badly wounded and will likely suffer from serious nightmares for years to come but they've come out of it alive which is more than your fellow pathfinder can say.

You guys quickly run them back up top and outside, Halla helps you guys lift the laborers out and helps you lift the pathfinder's body, "Oh gosh, I am glad you guys are okay and found Pel and Sorrigo alive and safe!"

Those two nod and bow and shake your hands, even kissing you "thank you so much Pathfinders, after they killed the other one we had given up all hope,"

The stench of death is strong in this ornate shrine. Another mosaic like that found in the grand temple above lies on the floor immediately west of the entryway. Two rows of slender columns carved with dizzying designs support the ceiling twenty feet overhead and every inch of the chamber’s walls is covered with intricate sigils and pictograms.

A fat pillar stands in the center of the chamber. Six corpses lie on the floor near the base of this central pillar. An altar of red marble stands near the western wall, and it has iron manacles attached to its surface. The air is charged with palpable malevolence.

Perception DC25:
The sihedron sigil on the floor contains shards of glass built into as a built into mortification device that presumably someone would either drag themselves across on bloodied knees or tread upon barefoot. Either way they probably work like caltrops

“I strongly suggest we do exactly the same thing.”

“The twist is the elf whip-cleric of Calistria?? Smashing him from range is the go if he is too cowardly to face a paladin one-on-one. I would recommend delaying damage against him until he casts, to try and disrupt his spellcasting."

Mutahir slides into place his sword held out as he calls to the undead cleric....

Hey! You rotting corpse pile! Your god...

He then lets loose a torrent of oaths, curses, and slanders in multiple languages, both celestial, abyssal, fiendish, and common, calling into question their god's mother, father, extend family tree, and insinuated, in the most vulgar terms possible, that he once went on a date with said god and it ended in varying degrees of vulgarity.

The faithful of the party are simultaneously shocked and impressed. Even the not faithful are slightly concerned about the possiblity of another god stepping in and smiting the rahadoumi just on principal.

Oh yeah, forgot he was gone

Antonella readies herself for anything else that may come this way, prepared to make a final stand in the hallway.

Riptide readies a magic missile to interrupt the cleric's spell casting while cirri hurtles a snowball at the Red robed Ghast (though I think they are immune to fort save effects) and destroys the ghast outright!

Mutahir knows these are ghasts, also knows this looks like a ritual chamber for Yamasoth, you know he is possibly the original qlippoth that was experimented upon, leading to the genesis of demonkind; his vile experimentation on victim creatures is used as evidence of this. They are usually offended when someone suggests he isn't a real deity only a very strong nascent demon lord.

Tholrist is very offended by your shouting this out at him and shouts something back in Thassilonian.

thassilonian:
"I will drink the marrow from your bones and use your skull as a new wine glass to drink your blood!"

He casts a spell that creates a zone of utter silence around the blue ghast, as he does so Riptide fires off his magic missile and it strikes him and he almost loses the spell!

Oops, forgot about the caltrops. Still would've went after cleric. With shield, Riptide's AC is going to be 22 before he rages and enlarges at the end of his move. So that first one's a miss. You should get 3 more caltrop attack rolls v the 22 AC, then it'll be AC16 for the 4th roll, when he enlarges. If the first 2 additional attacks don't hit, he should get there. If one of the first 2 do hit and slow him, he'll attack the green ghast, which would have cover.(and I can re-roll, or use the 2nd d20, which would miss, and then the AoO would be the crit...or I could just re-roll.
