It was an RP thing not a true mechanical thing as far as what grease does when one is trying to avoid being grappled. So no real "question" in the question.....

The dense foliage of the jungle canopy rustles as though hundreds of massive creatures were moving rapidly through the high branches. The hoots and hollers of bloodthirsty otherworldly creatures fill the thick, humid air, and the metallic scent of blood is overwhelming.
A pack of baregaras -blood-colored demonic gorillas with long twisted horns and exposed hearts beneath their sinewy rib cages- hunts this portion of the jungle, and a trio of the beasts drops from the trees
in ambush! Magic bursts from them as they appear!

Eden, Slarann, Alathos all make a DC 17 will save vs Hold Person.

They roar out a challenge to Alathos, Salrann and Chu'ko!

Salraan tears into the right foe who attempts to tear at her right back and has some moderate success. It's rib cage snaps and tears at her unsuccessfully as it does at alathos. It even manages to get a hit in on the normally impervious inquisitor. The third, in the back casts a spell on Salraan, then casts a second on Chu'ko!

After careful contemplation, Eden decides to fly closer to the battlefield and assist Alathos. With a snap of her fingers, she quickly conjures up a pool of slippery liquid beneath its feet. She hopes that it takes. It has been a whole since a Level 1 spell has done her any good.

After flying closer, Eden casts Grease on the leftmost baregara. It needs to make a DC 20 reflex save or fall flat on its face. Spell resistance does not apply. She would be about twenty feet in the air.

It gets another hit on the normally impervious Inquisitor, but fails to pull him into its gnashing ribcage. You take 18

On the right, things are going pear shaped rather quickly.
Salrann, you do get another save to shake off the hold this round.

Chu'ko rushes in to help Salrann like a hero from the songs. The Baregara turns to face him. His attacks practically bounce off the rough skin of the demon. Its mouth and rib cage pull back into terrifying mockeries of smiles before Chu'ko is savagely attacked. The first misses the nimble Thunder Caller, then the beast adjusts something and its attacks become nigh unavoidable. in all, four attacks hit, the last being a humiliating headbutt straight into the ground.
Chu'ko takes: 2d10 + 16 + 2d8 + 16 ⇒ (7, 7) + 16 + (1, 2) + 16 = 49

Just as the monster is about to rip off Salrann's head, she awakens from the stupor she was put under and dodges out of the way. The beast still does a ton of damage to her, though. She then lays into the beast herself, hoping to grapple and pin it.

Moments later one of your succubus observers floats down on her interstellar steed and smiles a sexy smile.
Many don't make it this far. I admit, watching you persevere has been... Stimulating. However, I have received word that the Insatiable Queen has granted your request for an audience. If you would follow me.

She leads you down the road toward the reporting spots of the demons nest from her steed. Even though the fortress looks nearby the trip is still over ten miles long and the site towers over you when you finally arrive.

As you travel, you contemplate your failure to overcome the demon apes and find you've learned quite a bit about yourselves since you exited the Tomb of the Iron Madeusa.

The metal door to the shrine is unlocked, a particularly welcoming surprise. The first room you enter has "Shrine of Rest and Fulfillment" engraved over the door. Inside the black lunar glass and porphyry interior walls are draped in erotic tapestries and paintings. Suggestive statues of black lunar stone abound, and the heady scent of highest quality frankincense fills the air. Sumptuous pillows and veiled mattresses are scattered about the shrine, painting the perfect picture of an exotic pleasure den. Iconography of Shelyn abounds here and you are hastily greeted by a man and a woman wearing simple sheer shifts. The greet you enthusiasticly.
