A third, probably terrible option, is to wait for the colossus to punch through the wall. Or possibly climb back on the golem, and jump/port from there (so that you're at least not burning SP).
Are the ropes hanging down from the colossus still viable? It did get soaked with alchemist's fire, so I wouldn't be surprised to find out they're ruined. Additionally, any chance that they are knotted?
Otherwise, spam total defense until something gets us through. Should have brought a grappling hook...
The good news: the rough skin of the golem means it's climb DC is 7.
The bad news: At least a quarter of this garrison is unloading whatever they have in that Golem's direction. You'll probably get hit by something(s) on your way up.

So I do... See, I know well enough to buy it in advance, but not enough to look in my gear for it later. XD
Thanks Daimargh, and you're welcome to fish the rope out of my backpack, Celeste. Otherwise, I can pull it out next turn and pass it along to whoever's getting teleported atop the wall.
She has long range blast, range 640' increment or 212 yards, so x2 with a -1 to hit, if she takes a round to target, can she hit still at that range GM? I really want to blow up your big bad besty
To all my games:
I will be leaving for a hunting trip (Moose in Alaska) tomorrow and will not be back to full online presence until the 19th or 20th. I will be flying all day tomorrow, so I will be able to post some, but not as normal. I will be completely out of contact from the 15th to the 18th.
What you shooting with, I once shot a dear with a big bore black powder musket, made a real mess of the thing, and we could not eat what as left. But I like a nice .22 and shoot small dear, get close and scope in. Moose, your going to need a bigger gun than that. With shooting I always liked making a hid and waiting, let them come to you and just take your time. Did that a lot with my dad. When the band fire arms in the UK, I went for a 1000 psi CO2 Air rile, thinking it would suck. But man I loved that rile. Quit as a mouse.

Time to get a 3,000 psi rifle ... lol.
I actually thought of using an air rifle for survival but making a black powder musket is a better solution for firearms, everything else requires a compressor or fine tooling workshop while a musket can be blacksmithed once you learn how. You can still take down a moose with a well place shot with a .22 LR. The problem is if you miss, shame on your for causing the animal pain, AST may catch you in the act and they don't play when it comes to that, and you may have a Moose chasing you.
Which is scary.
I'll be carrying my dad's 30-30. I own a .22 LR, but I don't trust my shooting skill enoughto try to hunt a moose with it. I'm not exactly an outdoorsman. This will be my first time hunting, in fact.

I always thought a compress crossbow is best, little sound, good range and if you make the bolt way. Shoots straighter then musket unless you can rifle it.
I used to hunt with crossbows when i was a kid. I wasn't allowed to go around with a rifle or shotgun unless supervised, but we also needed to eat and couldn't always make it to the store (when we could even afford to do so) in the winter. The crossbow worked well for rabbits and squirrels, and also kept the foxes and stray dogs from killing our ducks and chickens. Also used to make snares with speaker-wire to get rabbits. not too many deer were in our immediate area, too many other people with guns.
You ever try long line and netting for Rabbits, as kids we use to go out with dad and get 20 or 30 at a time. I remember have 6 at a time around my neck with baling twine. Happy days, and Mums Rabbit and mushroom pie.
The best hunting with a 22 air gun, was wild pheasant, get em nice and settle and try and get em in the head. hard as hell, aim so if you miss you hit nothing and try not to spook em. Darn hard but really made you shoot well.
Yeah we didnt have enough rabbits to net i dont think. We just had some runs they'd take through our property after some heavy snow. If we used a net they probably wouldnt use that run anymore after a bit.
No pheasant in our immediate area, never hunted them. Just lots of squirrels and rabbits. Not really a hunting fan myself, just did it when i was a kid because otherwise we wouldnt have enough food.
Sounds like how I grew up in the highs of the dales, grew up on a small holding. Outside privet and cows all around. Feck it was cold in winter, water by my bed had ice in more than once.
Tomorrow I will be traveling outside the US on vacation and will return on October 6th. During such time, I will likely be very sparing on the boards, and I imagine connectivity may be an issue. Please bot me as necessary. I will still try to get some posts in or at least keep up with games while in my hotel, if wifi-allows.
Hey guys. I'm back and I'm getting caught up, but it's going a little more slowly than anticipated. I should update here tomorrow late morning. Under 12 hours. If life intervenes and messes that plan up I'll try to let youall know.

Can you please mark the chapel (our objective) on the map, Choon? If you have done so, I'm not seeing it. >.> Edit: Well, I see it on the minimap (guess I missed it), I can work with that.

Good to see you didn't get trampled by a Moose or eaten by a Bear GM Choon!
:-)
Sorry all for my absence or slow post times, I was first under the weather this week and then I have had to catch up on career work including setting up my new Windows 10 workstation at work. It was one machine out of a batch that were accidentally ordered and one was given to me. It is a little overkill (Xeon with 32 GBs of RAM) for a network security engineer but I am not complaining ... :-) I want to be caught up in all my games by this weekend.
I have a rule, when a game slows down to this speed, 1 GM game post very 3 to 4 days, I wait about 4 weeks to see if it picks up. When it gets clear like this that things now have slowed down to a snails pace, I post here and ask the GM.
Do you think this will be the game speeds form now on?
Honestly, yes. Circumstances in my life have led to the acquisition of a second job, leaving my time short to say the least. I will endeavor to finish this encounter up as quickly as I can, but will likely be closing this bit of fun afterwards.
I would love for this to continue unabated forever, but my life must come first and this is impacting my games. I apologize for being a letdown.
I will reiterate though that I will be finishing this battle. I owe youall that much.
I'm sorry to see this ending so soon. It was fun trying out different things that I'd never get to play again. If you ever decide to come back to this, I'd welcome it.
I'm not ruling that out. Maybe once the crazy of having two jobs gets more manageable. Or some of my other games finish up. I wish homebrew didn't take up so much time. :(
