Won’t be building the character until post-gen Con, but my newer idea if we don’t go Ysoki is to do a cyberborn strix technomancer (even though I am very unsure of the class)
He’ll be going all cyberpunk with implants and everything, so that should be fun.
Wondering if a level or two of soldier would be worth it along the way, if only to get better armor and weapons.

@ Aquila Makes sense. Mostly just wanted a feel for typical top 2 or so positions, for RP purposes. How people would hold themselves on ship. Where they would run to first in case of a potential battle, etc.
Sauco's skills speak to Captain or Pilot, currently.

Suaco could also be a secondary Gunner, for if we ever intend to face things head-on in a round. Fire with the forward gun, and the turret, without penalty.
Otherwise, yeah, she would likely be most helpful in the Captain's chair.

At some point we should agree on which of our ship's names/transponders is our "legal" identity, and which is our... questionable identity.
Transponders can be turned on and off, but if it's off, we won't be identified as that ship, and people that try to get a hold of that ship won't be able to.
e.g. we have one ID that we use for legitimately docking on Absalom Station, but people trying to get a hold of us via our smuggling ID will not get a message through until we turn that one back on (they can leave a voicemail equivalent).
Means we would have to track who knows us by what IDs, so we don't expose ourselves as having both. As well as not trying to dock somewhere "lawful" while an ID that may have a warrant is active...
That being said, our names and Transponders are as follows:

My apologies everyone. Right after this got started my work life got upended. My routine and free time have been shot and I want to be honest with you all so no one is hanging around here getting frustrated. I'm not sure when I can commit to steady everyday posts in the near future and think it's best if I lay things out on the table for us to decide as a group. Do you all want to put this campaign on pause, try to continue limping along, or call it and shake hands?

As we've barely started, it would not be the end if we call it. Nothing of the story has been really spoiled. Of course, if someone would take it over, I would gladly play.
But to let this drag on, and cause you more stress, would not be fair, when its very easy to stop the game at this point.
I hope everything works out and things will get calm soon.

Well, I don't have the books, and am currently "in between jobs" atm; but I can try and get the books and then I'd be willing to pick it up as the GM in a few weeks if there is interest in continuing.
