"Well, we managed your tasks, though some took more managing than others. We have all of the items you asked us to bring, as well as news. There were apparently a group of felons following us all day, given the glimpses some of our group got of them. They stopped us in an alley a few blocks over and demanded that we give them what we had rightfully obtained first. During a discussion of actions and consequences, they learned a tremendous lesson. One that they will carry to their graves...any minute now. You wouldn't happen to know of anyone shadowing your newest recruits, now would you?"

Nodding his accent of Lauranna’s summarization of the sequence of events that unfolded Jec speaks up. Sir. As to our learning. Which I believe this was an exercise of learning. I believe that we have learned very important lessons. First and foremost we learned to work well as a team of random people can. I also believe that we learned the necessity of not striking certain people even if they asked to be hit. In short. We accomplished all of the tasks that you required of us. Even if they were done in an unorthodox way.

Watching the others respond to Abrus Valsin, and noting Rutilus moving to hide behind him, but not drawing attention to the small man, the barbarian returns his attention to the conversation, and rolls his eyes and murmurs, mostly to himself, "Everyone say what Dagbur already say."
For the record, I was really, REALLY excited to see what Rutilus did from the rooftops. I'm positive it was epic-ness in the making.
Ambrus looks at you all, and tells you that you "did better than he expected you all would (whatever that means), and that he has more important tasks for you to do, if you think you are up for it, once you are settled.
The End. <<credit music playing>>
I *do* need a day job check from everyone. If you have a trained profession, it is a d20+ that profession.
Otherwise, it is just a d20 roll.
(day job signifies your actual labor at your job in between the time that has lapsed from one adventure to the next. It can be increased by taking ranks in professions when you level, or by buying "vanities". One example of this is buying a tavern. That gives you a + whatever modifier on your day job check, thereby earning you more money in between missions.)
We will resolve "closing" stuff on the discussion tab.
