Oh, I see the problem. I left the flight heights in the initiative block. They are all at 5' off ground level. Their attacks are +1 higher from this than what I posted because I forgot about higher ground bonus.

Mathais cuts down one of the demons as its foul blood sprays across the stoneworked floor. It gives out a ghastly howl as it perishes.

Jarlgur leaps into action and heals the wounded Inquisitor, saving him from certain death.

Maaarv takes quite a wallop from the incubus's attack. He finds himself absolutely sickened by the whole situation.

I just realized that I forgot to add in my heroism mods to attack and damage last round. Don't go back and recalculate - it's my bad for forgetting them, but I'll include them from now on.

Though hit very hard, the alchemist does possibly the least sensible thing he could do and continues to throw bombs at his enemies, focusing on the yellow-eyed incubus.

Mathais and Jarlgur quickly dispatch of the last incubi, felling him before he could teleport away.

To ensure their victims do not perish prematurely, it seems the incubus demons keep six potions of cure serious wounds beneath the table in the southeast corner of the torture chamber. One of the deceased Hellknights
still wears a improved ring of climbing, and another contorted Hellknight wears a medallion of thoughts.

Defeating the incubus demons allows you to search the room and you find Marianix Karn unconscious in a cell. A morlock also seems to be unconscious in the cell across the room and Bogipfen seems to be trying to open the door, but is having trouble. "Help Agajprak! He not dead!"

Alie hated those infernal healing spells. They seemed so icky. But, the mission called for icky things sometimes. She took the wand and healed her friend. She quickly handed the wand back.


Bogipfen pushes Maaarv out of the way. "Morlocks better at this. Move!" he commands as he tends to his friend.

Karn quickly updates you as to the recent events in Rachikan, including the arrival of the kalavakus demon, imprisonment of agents of Cheliax, and the demon’s obsession with excavating an immense construct near the sealed door.

"We need to stop it. If we head to the second floor, I think I saw someone who might be able to help us... though he does bear a grudge against most of you." Karn says reservedly.

The other morlock comes to and Maaarv deduces that her name is Agajprak. She says that her baton is on the second story as well and that they must retrieve it.

Bogipfen stands on a table and pronounces to the party. "We go to the second story!"

On the second floor, you see a familiar grizzled face tied to a vertical rack: Primo Ambusta. Agajprak and Bogipfen scurry over to a corner and pick up a white stone baton, which the former uses to animate a stone golem near the door.

Primo Ambusta is unconscious but Karn uses a bit of healing magicks to resuscitate him. "What are these scoundrels doing here?" he spits at the Pathfinders.

Also, he's not the Paralictor. The Paralictor was the Pathfinder hiding in their ranks as their leader who helped you get down the elevator shaft after being found out.

Ambusta scoffs at Grimnir's threat. "Try it if you wish to meet Torag in person, dwarf."

After you cut him down, Ambusta will head to the Pit with Marianix Karn and free a retinue of hellknights. The group scrounges the remains of armor and weaponry in the building, forming ragtag combinations.

"Let's make this quick." Ambusta says as he dons a set of full plate and picks up a heavy mace, hefting it over his shoulder.

"We should head down the larger tunnel to the plaza." Ambusta recommends. "A head-on assault will destroy the demon's retinue with ease."

Bogipfen speaks up. "Big man can't fit in small tunnel that morlocks use. New friends should go through small tunnel with Bogipfen. Ajaprak will go with stone man and hell men. Stone man can't fit in small tunnel."
