I would think that Wednesday would be more than fine. Probably a few days for check-in. A few days for PMs to anyone who didn't see the recruitment. You will be fine if you want to stat out someone else.
Okay I'm currently debating whether to go straight inquisitor or to dip into Bloodrager. If so I might start with Bloodrager. I'll look to get an alias up by tomorrow.
I have to fly out tomorrow for a business trip starting on monday. I might be missing in action for a few days. Please GMPC my character starting tomorrow. If my character dies while I'm away, I won't shed any tears. We're first level after all.
I believe GM Bold Strider is back from vacation (welcome back btw, and hope you had a good time).
We need to get the pace picked back up on this one. We're not even getting 1 post a day from most of us. Even I haven't kept up (as mentioned in my current post). I wasn't sure of what action to take at this scene and was hoping to follow someone's lead, but I made an action since no one else has.
For everyone at the table (myself included), please let's get back to a post a day so we can keep moving. Thanks!
Here's a pretty extensive discussion of the whole hunter trick shabaz... I'm hoping there will be a ruling on this soon as currently it is OP. While I don't agree that your assessment that WIS+3 uses per day is the correct RAW reading it's okay with me.
Sorry, I meant to follow this: "A Ranger can use these tricks a total number of times per day equal to 1/2 his Ranger level + his Wisdom modifier." Since it doesn't state that there is a minimum, then it looks like level 1s just use Wisdom modifier under that interpretation.
Also, these tricks are given to a Ranger in exchange for his Spells, whereas the Sacred Huntsmaster/Hunter gets it for free with his pet? I have a hard time thinking that the intention was to give animal companions attacks entangle/shaken/+2 to someone's next attack roll/-2 on enemy's next attack roll/etc. on every attack as well as letting the creature move 2x its speed every move action.
From Hunter: "A hunter may teach her companion hunter's tricks from the skirmisher ranger archetype instead of standard tricks." Assuming that we consider any instance of "Ranger" to be "Animal Companion" (the only way to make these tricks work and already a RAI interpretation), then you would gain the Hunter's Tricks ability from Skirmisher which sets the limit on how many uses there are. "A Ranger (Animal Companion) can use these tricks a total number of times per day equal to 1/2 his Ranger (Animal Companion) level + his Wisdom modifier."
Only a very loose interpretation looks at this as unlimited use of "Hunter's Tricks", in my opinion.
